You will improve , when I had a shitty position finger blocking was always happening , I couldn't read very well . Sometimes I would just get stuck and do nothing and fail . So yes position matters , for your own health and for improving in osu .

if possible, try leaning back on whatever surface you're sitting/lying on. when your eyes are level with the top of the screen, trust me, it really helps a lot.

Sit AS BAD as you can, seriously, just be a complete disgrace, and then look up, take air engaging your abdominal muscles, and exhale, putting your abs inside, and UP. (Sounds weird, I know) That will make your spine go into a neutral position, and is the correct option to make your back straight, and also will fix your pelvis for you

Oh wow, thank you so much this really helped me improve. I used to get C ranks on 5 stars now I suddenly get A ranks :D, my arms get tired when I'm about to finish a map, now I feel like I can play much longer than I usually can.
Had no idea switching the position of my tablet would mess with my muscle memory. I always keep it in the same horizontal position but I move it around my desk based on how far I push my chair in or out of it. I think I'll tape mine down too (since the rubber back just tore off randomly :()
Damn this shit actually worked man. I was having probelms with my back while playing, this didn't only also help with osu it helped with everything I do on my PC thanks man great video!
my room is very small, i use a metal folding chair and the top of the drawer to play osu on my laptop (1/3 of it is hanging off), and i cant play comfortable at all. :(
I do this weird this with the mouse where I have my pinky finger (skin and nail) touching the desk to purposely create a specific amount of drag (It also helps me know where the mouse is exactly lol ). Without it, my perfomance is crap Also after a while my pinky hurts so after a while, I can't play optimally . . . What should I do about it? Stop doing it? If so how should I hold the mouse???
When i try to use arm rest or anything my stamina just dies But just recentley I tried to hold my hand in the air and dont use any armrests At first it was hard and tiering but now my stamina is 5 times better then it was.
just because you can play relax high stars doesn't mean you should be able to play them since your aim and tapping has to be in sync, another thing you should stop playing relax over time it only develops bad habits, and most importantly, play songs you enjoy and set yourself a challenge and not just push for pp, rank doesn't necessarily equal skill. just have fun with the game. if your clicking hand feels weird try different hand positions find out whats most comfortable for you and everything else stamina, speed comes with time through playing more
