mannylora the best blues song in my opinion...the guitar is amazing...complex and full of soul and melancholy!! When Jimmy was at the top of his game !!
How talented is this guy ?? Plays all the instruments & his guitar tone is always . Then you see a person nit-pick about something trivial ... I can only imagine how much time he devotes to his craft. I've been playing over 30 years & I'm envious of this guy.
A lot of people do Zeppelin covers focusing on hitting every note.... but man its refreshing to see it done with actual EMOTION! Jimmy Page was a man who "dealed with emotions" and you capture his essence. Bravo
also the bass pedals aren't heard here... instead we get a sort of hammond B3 type tone which is an octave too high or just the wrong timbre.. ic an't tell but I hear no bass pedal sound
Think I had that book, the one that claimed to be "all the songs from the first five albums" but was actually missing a few songs that they were getting sued for ripping off. LOL
One of the best instrumental reproductions I have heard on RUclips... had to rewind and study every cord to make sure it wasn't just a dub... very nice people....
Holly Mother of God man!!!! You literally nailed that whole song! I feel dirty just thinking I can pick up my guitar after watching this. Jesus! Much respect & awe to you Sir.
you know jimmy has seen jun626 I wonder what he thinks of it.mabey oh that's how I played it back then. again watching this makes you realize how great jimmy page is. playing is one thing but creating the song and solo in the first place is pure genius. rock on beavis...
this short version is awesome! I loved the overdubbing on the 2:13 part Few people care about that, but that effect makes the end of the solo give you chills down your spine. 100*!
Yeeeeaahhh!!!! You really got it! You sound exactly like Zepp!!! I love guitars, and specially love that old distortion from valve amps. How I wish I could afford one. A real British valve amp, not that crap they sell from China for $125.
dude check out blackstar. Its a british company, altho their low end amps are made in China, they have some pretty good 5w tube amps that can deliver decent vintage tones. Try out the blackstar ht 5 for instance.
I will check it. And don't be so surprised, ha ha, let me explain something: actually I live in South America, so maybe that's the reason why I haven't heard of that brand. Of course Internet is always there to shorten those distances but, I'm not actually a musician, I mean I'm not in a band nor perform as soloist, so basically music is a past-time. A very passionate thing to do but... a past-time in the end to me, at least until now, and I've been also outdated for several years after I married, so, basically, I'm just going back into the music world, ha-ha!!! By the way, I've heard of Laney amplifiers, (I'm interested in low-end ones as you already realized) which are being sold in my Country, Uruguay. Of course those, as being low-end ones, despite the brand is British, those small friends are made in China, and I haven't tested them, but several people told me they're quite good. They said the same you said: even though they're made in China, they've good sound! When I said something about bad quality products for $125, I meant products in general which come from China and are bad quality products actually. But I can't speak about those specific amps, as I haven't tested anyone yet. Besides Blackstar, do you know Laney also?
Blackstar was started by guys that worked at Marshall, they are good amps. I have a Marshall 100 watt super lead hand wired, I had it modded, added an FX loop, and did a power scaling mod, I can go from 100 to 50 to 25 to 12 to 7 watts. when a lower wattage is selected, you can crank up the volume to really drive the tubes to break up. I have owned many expensive amps, and have gone back to the simplicity of the single channel plexi head. I promise, this amp sounds truly amazing. The mods were done by Kruse Kontrol Amplification in Los Angeles. If you can find a good deal an old plexi head, this is the way to go.
Este es el mejor blues de la historia y el solo también es el mejor de todos los tiempos! Pero Jimmy jamás pudo tocarlo tan perfecto como en la grabación original. Esta versión es muy pero muy buena! Congratulations!!
Without Question! THE BEST LEAD COVER EVER of this song I have EVER HEARD. PERIOD! I have this song burned into my music brain and this is almost PERFECT! Thank you for the awesome work. I will always love this song and you did justice to it! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎😎😎
This is spot on., I am very impressed with the quality ., I was lucky to see them 5 times in the 60,s and 70,s. I think J. Page eould bad happy with this. Great job on a fantastic Song.
Man you really have a special talent being able to recreate these songs by ear with such precision and passion on all these instruments. Your dedication is a real musical inspiration truly.
Sick drums. Was always my fave Zep song on a purely instrumental basis, that turnaround gave me the feels as a little kid even before I was a musician.
This was just SICK!!! Very good recreation of the Page tone sound, and the other instruments just add to the Zeppelin greatness. "One Man Zepp" is the perfect name, even though you couldn't put Plant in there ;) This completed my day dude. Keep rockin man!
wanted to say that I am sincerely impressed with all aspects of this video. The timing is incredible the tone is spot-on and the nuances of this beautiful piece are displayed in every aspect wonderfully and perfectly. well done sir, I'm in my studio as we speak to address my weaknesses after watching this video. Thank you for the inspiration and the drive to dive back in to the Blues, Where it All Began and where I need to start once again.
One of my favorite Zep songs ever. Very very nice!!! I would have been so ready to pounce if you had massacred that lead but you nailed it!! Feeling encouraged I shall now commence to view your other videos.
holy hell man, that was truly badass. This song has so much emotion and wisdom based playing that its hard to capture, very well played cover....you will surely be my reference for gettin' this one down. =D
One of the best solo's of all time in my opinion. Doesn't get much recognition, except for Zep fans.
I agree with you on that, amazing solo.
mannylora It's my favorite solo Jimmy really rocks it. I've learned most of the song but the solo is beyond my level! At least for now ha ha
One of the greatest blues songs ever recorded!
mannylora the best blues song in my opinion...the guitar is amazing...complex and full of soul and melancholy!! When Jimmy was at the top of his game !!
My fave zep track, especially live!
How talented is this guy ?? Plays all the instruments & his guitar tone is always . Then you see a person nit-pick about something trivial ... I can only imagine how much time he devotes to his craft. I've been playing over 30 years & I'm envious of this guy.
Greg Denis Well said,40 years for me.
Its not how long you have played its how much you have played.
+Eetu T this. playing for an hour every other day for 20 years ≠ playing for five hours every day for 20 years
Now imagine achieving this level of guitar playing in just about a decade or so like Jimmy had done when he wrote this song..
But he can't sing! This is some consolation for us, nonentity 😌
A lot of people do Zeppelin covers focusing on hitting every note.... but man its refreshing to see it done with actual EMOTION! Jimmy Page was a man who "dealed with emotions" and you capture his essence. Bravo
He still is!!
EMOTION ?!?!?!?!
Oh my God, I've been waiting 40 years to see this song played like the original record, It's beautiful just like this. Thanks.
He's good, almost nailed it. Jun626 solo is unmatched though, and Jun replicated the guitar tone perfectly.
Absoulutely nailed the guitar tone
ur kidding right
yea he is
My paborito rock n roll
Definitely not
a piercing amount of treble. is he using a wah toe down? Jimmy's was treble heavy too but jeez not this much
this dude is unreal.
John Frangione Take a look same song played by Ayla guitar
Allow me to thank you on behalf of all aspiring guitarists for your existence on this earth, for we are truly blessed by your presence...
Yifei Sun Take a look on Aylas guitar
Best Zep song written in my opinion. No other has the same level of emotion as this
It's one thing to play the solo that well, but another to have such a similar touch to Jimmy's! Amazing playing!
This is by far the VERY best cover of Since I've been loving you. Period.
I've seen THOUSAND of covers of Led... You're the best, period.
Perfect, except the bass drum pedal should be squeaky.
lol
also the bass pedals aren't heard here... instead we get a sort of hammond B3 type tone which is an octave too high or just the wrong timbre.. ic an't tell but I hear no bass pedal sound
Art Vandelay LOL! Yeah, gotta be a completist! :-)
@@officergregorystevens5765 zzzzzzzzzz
Art Vandelay I’ve heard people say that never actually heard it myself
私ジミーペイジ好きでギター練習していますが、ジミーペイジの演奏きいているみたいで、何故か涙でそうな位感動します!ここまで弾けるの羨ましい!ジミーペイジってやっぱり格好良いなぁと思います
I can remember learning this song as a teenager back in the late 80s from "Led Zeppelin Complete". :) Excellent job.
Think I had that book, the one that claimed to be "all the songs from the first five albums" but was actually missing a few songs that they were getting sued for ripping off. LOL
What sort of man can play a difficult song, note for note perfectly....on guitar, drums and organ. Fantastic!!!! I put it down to witchcraft :-)
man do a favour to humanity: do a cover of the "since I've been loving you" version played in '73 at MSG!!
Close your eyes and its as close as you'll get to listening to "Led Zeppelin III" spinning on vinyl...yet another fantastic job!
His versions of Song Remains the Same and Van Halen are just as flawless ..not just the notes but the true essence of the songs. Stunning
Good Job ! This is the best instrumental cover i've ever seen so far ! Keep up the great work
Jesus, absolutely lovely! Great performance, wonderful tones, this solo always makes me cry! Congrats from Brasil, buddy!
👏👏👏👏👏👏 Outstanding. I got to your channel to learn to play Tangerine, and I am blown away by all your Led Zep covers. You are a virtuoso!
This has gotta be one of my favorite songs to play.
i want to be able to play this, but i can't even play a guitar :(
I really love this song. I usually say it is the best song ever, and your interpretation is PERFECT.
***** 10 STARS *****

Creating it...That 'IS'..the Gift.
Genius is an Understatement.
Very good and daily I hear this music
this short version is awesome!
I loved the overdubbing on the 2:13 part
Few people care about that, but that effect makes the end of the solo give you chills down your spine.
100*!
I come back to this video every 6 months or so. I have no idea how he does it but it gets better every time.
Yeeeeaahhh!!!! You really got it! You sound exactly like Zepp!!! I love guitars, and specially love that old distortion from valve amps. How I wish I could afford one. A real British valve amp, not that crap they sell from China for $125.

Is that so? Well, thanks for the tip. I guess I'll have to give them a try after all.
lol glad to help, i'm surprised u have not heard of blackstar, it has really gained popularity lately. Check out Anderton's review of the amp

This is spot on., I am very impressed with the quality ., I was lucky to see them 5 times in the 60,s and 70,s. I think J. Page eould bad happy with this. Great job on a fantastic Song.
Goosebumps...
+Kat Hamilton (Zepluv) And he plays all of the instruments.. I wish I could play just one of those instruments with 1/10th of the precision. :)
Man you really have a special talent being able to recreate these songs by ear with such precision and passion on all these instruments. Your dedication is a real musical inspiration truly.
Absolutely perfect, if you replaced Jimmy's track on the record with this, I'd never know.
You're the man. Well done. That is excellent.
Sick drums. Was always my fave Zep song on a purely instrumental basis, that turnaround gave me the feels as a little kid even before I was a musician.

Whooooa....that solo man, edge of your seat stuff. Absolutely captivated. Page would be proud :)
Amazing Job super playing and tone Hats off.
Man I would have loved hearing Janis Joplin singing this song with the flair she had at Monterrey Pop.
JASCOBAR There is some girl doing a Janis cover show. Saw here on the CBS morning show. She's fantastic. Try to find her and suggest it.
MegaTregg Hey that would be GREAT!!!!!!! And I'd like to see her act anyway. Thanks for the heads up. I bet she is here somewhere in RUclips World.
This is sick! Maybe the best overall cover on youtube. So much feel, and a great playing performance!!! Rock on!

7 dislikes shows that 7 people are either musically deaf, or they don't like music at all in general. Best cover for this song ever!

Awesome!! Great tone and playing
Excellent visual representation!
This was just SICK!!! Very good recreation of the Page tone sound, and the other instruments just add to the Zeppelin greatness. "One Man Zepp" is the perfect name, even though you couldn't put Plant in there ;)
