I just had this procedure done, I'm now awaiting implantation of the two embryos. 🙏
Long post: I wish I had seen this video sooner! I'm in my husband country and they have excellent health care but educating patients is not a priority. So i did not even know they went through the vaginal wall with a needle to retrieve the oocytes (eggs) from my ovaries. Which by the way i took a long time to recover from mostly because i got something not too uncommon yet potentially very dangerous called, Ovarian Hyper-Stimulation Syndrome (OHSS). My ovaries grew to a painfully enormous size full of oocytes and it was so uncomfortable for ~2 weeks. I had to take so many injections before and after egg retrieval, right in the stomach. Most of the hormone needles do not hurt, except for a couple, especially in my case taking a blood thinner to prevent thrombosis was grueling,i cried most times. But now I'm recovered.
There's an extra step in IVF not mentioned in the video: cryopreservation (freezing). In my case, they immediately fertilized my oocytes with my husband's sperm and then cryopreserved them for one month while i recovered and I had 1 menstrual cycle. Then they took them out and an embryologist monitored them in a lab.
My embryo transfer was 20-Aug-21. All the best to the IVF mamas and papas. It's a sacrifice no one understands until you have to go through it. 💫🫂🍍🌈
Tldr; IVF is worth it but it's a grueling process; women are the real BAMFs.

For the process, it is really important to visit a clinic with a high success rate. The clinic should have experienced doctors. This is important because only they will know what is right for the patient. Due to all these factors, I am visiting a clinic in Ukraine.

Hi there, anyway me and my bf are trying to get pregnant. Anyway 10 yrs ago I had an previous miscarriage. We been trying fertility pills and nothing. I'm always ovulate after my period 14 days after. Anyway we still are trying and nothing, so I went to my doctor and he wrote a prescription for Vitro fertilization. I've been very patience with my bf we been together for 5 yrs, and next year will be 6. We're doing this. I really hope I get pregnant either by next year in 2016 and when I do I want only 1 child with my bf. So I will never be alone thanks for listening and God Bless.

I just like to say, I know I mentioned that I want 1 child, but I wouldn't mind having twin boys, or twin girls I have an obsession of twin boys. They say with 1 shot I'll never know

She had PCOS and thus, she could not conceive naturally. I am glad that she took the right decision for herself. Her baby is now 5 months old. She is really happy and contented now.

Just by watching this. I realize that the process of inserting a needle through the vagina to burst the oocyst to extract an egg per time must be very painful. I had cervical tearing while delivering my baby who happened to be dead in a breach position. Locating and suturing the tear was hell. Even local anaesthesia didn't work. Kudos to all women out there.

if i m not wrong then this method of fertillization is done only when the man gonad is notable to fuse with ova ,thats why the external mode that is surgical is taken help of developing the embryo, and ours doctors are having a noticeable success in it.
