1972 Chevrolet El Camino with"PATINA" or whatever you want to call it.

Another one of the cars that has been sharing space in my backyard for a number of years. Running driving sitting doing no one any good including me. But all the while gaining more patina. And I suppose gaining a few other negatives like the fact that the carpet was still in it and wet for years. Now I'm not the one that caused all this when the El Camino was parked back in 1996 it sat with Windows partly open. So when I got it in a package deal with a GTO it ended up out here in line with some of the other someday projects. Someday has not come so I think it's time for me to pass it along to one of you guys. Especially since the Napa County Code Enforcement people tell me I have too many of these project cars in the backyard. I wonder if any code enforcement people have ever visited Jay Leno? What if they told him he had too many cars? Oh well I'm not Jay, so time for me to let go of some of the cars.

Hey Rod, was good to meet you in person and get a tour of your place. Loved seeing this El Camino in person .... I remember only ever seeing 1 other El Camino with that 1972 roof package ... different for sure. Hope someone can bring this one back to show or nice driver condition!!! Enjoyed our visit with you.
