Thanks for the appreciation! Interesting your observation about the Holden Ute; it is true that it has a unique design that gives it a special charm. It's fascinating to see how similar El Camino models have been adapted and reinterpreted in different markets, such as the Holden Ute in Australia and its version in South Africa.

Congratulations on owning a true classic! The 1970 Chevrolet El Camino is an iconic example of automotive design and performance from that era. The 350 engine is renowned for its robustness and power. I would love to hear more about your experience with this vehicle. Did you make changes or keep everything in its original state? Either way, you have a gem on four wheels there!
I have a 1984 GMC Caballero would love to hear more about them I know last year in USA then on to Mexico I also know that there was only 2750 made An Amarillo with V8 305 and I know that to tone brown was the rarest color I would like to know how to see what number it was in production ? Thank you
You can find out the production number of your 1984 GMC Caballero by checking the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The VIN is a unique code specific to your vehicle, and it often contains a serial number indicating its production sequence. To locate the VIN, you can check the dashboard on the driver's side, visible through the windshield, or on the driver’s side door on a sticker where the door latches when closed. Once you have the VIN, you can decode it to learn more about your vehicle, including its place in the production line. There are various websites and tools online that can help you decode the VIN for free. Just make sure to use a reliable and secure site. If you're looking for more detailed or specific information about the rarity and production details of your model, connecting with a GMC or classic car enthusiast group or forum might also be helpful. Members often have access to detailed production data and can offer insights into the specifics of your model, including its rarity and historical significance.
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎. I have 1976 GMC Sprint just like El Camino . Love my Sprint why one may ask am 71 I this maybe a shock I do not need a SUV or a Full size truck, my Sprint frame was station so with no real CARS ( Automobile ) my cost to maintain is lower than many of the newer vehicles out there ! Americans have forgotten we control the dollars many have aloud ( B S ) to take many over, I have talk to many and found defensive like a cancer ! Nobody is not ready to get the right people to help lead ! Good luck to all of us . 👀😎👍
The 'Cowl Induction' hood with the flapper door was offered on the Chevrolet El Camino from 1969 to 1972. It was a popular feature among enthusiasts because it not only added a unique look to the vehicle but also improved engine performance by providing a source of cooler air for the engine. It's a distinctive and iconic feature of those years for the El Camino!
the 69 elcamino did not come with a cowl hood .being it is a different frontend . The SS had a hood that 2 raised sections but there was not any flap like the 70
Totally agree! El Camino has a fascinating history and distinctive design. There are many fans who would be delighted to see his return. It would be interesting to see what a modern version of this classic model would look like.
I love El Camino and Ranchero I don't care what year I own a 79 El Camino my first and always loved car now I need a Ranchero to add to my dream car collection
The El Camino/Ranchero/Caballero are the best vehicles for a young, hard-working man. If they're going to re-release this cat, the engine sizes better start at V8 and higher. Heck, i heard the Mexicans were installing them with diesel engines. Maybe do a soft release as a "hearse" type vehicle.
I had a 67 El Camino 300 hp and it was the best car I’ve ever owned. Can’t wait to see the new ones.
they're ugly as crap .they are nothing more than a small avalanche .yeah 4 door chevy colorado
The first car I drove was a 1970 El Camino SS 396. It hauled more than cargo :) Thanks for the memories!
Very cool! Thanks for watching!
Defiantly the 66-72 Elcaminos will always be my favorite.
El camino what a ride
The Elcamino and the Ranchero are defiantly outstanding American Utes.
The Mullet of Muscle Cars.🤘🏻
The the 59-70 el Camino will always be my favorite
I just bought a 72 El Camino and I love it. I had an 81 15 years ago.
nice car!
The Australian Holden Ute sold in South Africa as a version of the El Camino was better looking in my opinion...but I'm biased! Lol. Fantastic video!

@@autoevolutiontv The Holden Ute pre-dates the El Camino and Ford Ranchero by years being released to the public in 1951
You forgot the '86 Monte Carlo El Camino!
I had a '69, loaded. Awesome truck.
My late dad used to have a 1959 El Camino

Nice! We also have the Ford Ranchero evolution available on the channel. Thanks for the comment!
If Chrysler takes current Pacifica making some cuts, tweaks, designing and underlay strengthening... voilà!...The new reincarnation of UTE is born!

The AI narration with all the mispronounced words makes this unwatchable.
Anyone know if it's fake news that the El Camino is coming back in December 2024? I've called Chevy Dealers and they know nothing about it.
at the moment there are only rumours, nothing is confirmed.
