    Recap
    1. たら is used for desire: 店に行ったら、パンを買った。(if you go to the store, buy bread)
    2. と is used for automatic/natural things: パンが買ったと、店がパンをない。(if the bread is bought, we will not have anymore)
    3. ば is used to say "if you want this, then do this". For example: サンドイッチを食べたいって、パンを買う。 (if you want to eat a sandwich, you will have to buy bread)
    4. なら is used to give advice or answer questions. For example: パンを買ってなら、早く食べる。(if you buy bread, you should eat it quickly)

I have been living in Japan for 3 years. I studied Japanese before coming here and I also studied here. All my teachers were Japanese. I used many Japanese books for each jlpt level. I in fact recently took JLPT N2. Never ever in my life I've seen any teacher teaching と as conditionals. Those who studied Japanese would agree with me that Japanese tech only 3 types of if: ば、なら、たら。How come they failed to tech such a simple grammar? I knew the usage, I immediately understood the meaning of your example sentence for と。But still I don't understand why Japanese dont teach it as grammar. You seem to be better at teaching Japanese than the Japanese 😂😂😂

    • @seriestv2989

I have been taught to use と with my teachers, it's probably because it's too easy that some don't bother teaching it !
