thankkkkkk you....I bought 2 fobs off amazon...I read some reviews ...they were saying the crank start didn't work...don't know what they did wrong both of my remotes work...and I programmed them both 20 seconds... mine actually locked the doors after programmed thanks dude 👍

This helped greatly, you are correct there was no chime after 15 seconds, I programmed 3 keyes and all of them work. Thank you.
Thank you for posting this, i had watched the video the company who made my remotes recommended and it only showed me how to program one fob and i wasn't able to ever program a 2nd fob or any additional ones once i programmed one it deleted all the others so now only the one would work and i tried to program different ones only ever getting one or the other to work never more than one...

What if I do the steps you say-- and it beeps like it has reprogrammed and it still doesnt work... I had the remotes them self checked and they said they were fine

I got it programmed easily enough and it works for my locks but when I tried to use the remote start, wouldn’t work and drained my battery when I was trying to use it! My Yukon won’t start now even with jumper cables on it.
Have you tried changing the buttons and cleaning it with alcohol ???
my lift driver side lock/unlock not functioning, used the passenger's side not getting positive result, i enter the programing mode but the remote not programed, i changed the battery too, nothing happened

2011 Z71 Tahoe and that relearn option is not an available option. Weird.
I have GMC Acadia 2011. in the menu there is no learning function for the remote control. How do i set up a new remote control?
this feature was available from 07-10 vehicles.11-14 vehicles, has to be programmed at the stealership. I have the same problem with my Yukon

You need to program all remotes in the same session. If you turn off, and turn on to program another remote, all other remotes are deactivated.

Yeah, engine light is on. It will not activate if the engine light is on your remote start, will not activate you have to have a code reader, the club, that cold.
When I go through the process mine doesn't go to the "Remote key learning active" screen. When I click the select button on the "press to relearn remote key" screen it just stays on that screen.
Any ideas?

I cant program 2 remotes. 1 will not work the only way they work is if the 2 remotes are far away from each other. Once they are close one will stop

The reason your remote start will not work is because you have a yellow engine check light on clear the engine check light and the remote start will work

I believe the remote start only works outside the vehicle. If it Senses the remote inside, it won't start.
Mine does not day relearn active it just flashes any ideas?

Did your remote start work after you programmed the new fob? The door locks work fine but when I went to use the remote start, it drained my battery!

there's a possibility that the remote start didn't work because the key was in the ignition
& could be due to the yellow lamp (service engine soon) if it is ON
Gm cars don't let keyless entry work while running the ones with an alarm such as this one

@@firefly0203 if you have a GM MDI and a subscription to GM TIS to Web then yes, you can do it at home, you need to program the remotes in a different way since remote start is link to the immobilizer module. if truck/car is not equipped with remote start then, you sure can do it at home through the instrument cluster.
