It's actually wholesome having the kids in the vlog whether they're crying, laughing, sleeping or running around. Makes the vlog more down to earth as you all are and not superficial as most family-influencers are in showing only the perfect moments!
And that Gas Guzzler is especially great for the future of those cute little kids. Truly unbelievable...
Hey Jon, we have the new G500 since nearly 2 years now. Good Facts: Perfect for vacation, everyday life, speed and so on. It is also very comfy - a 16hour road trip from Norway to Germany is no problem at all, the seats are the best that Mercedes ever had. However, here are the negative facts: the fuel consumption sucks (crusing around a city or anything under 30 mins will end you up with 22 liters/100km). Autobahn sucks even more, the car is really really loud inside above 135kmh while the fuel consumptions is at 25 liters/100km at 180kmh. Another negative point is that it is missing the rain gutter from the model before. If it rains and you open a door, a lot of water is going into the car. Same when you start to drive with open windows after it rained. However - we drove off-road in the alps, autobahn, everyday and so on - it's nearly perfect. Because of the fuel consumption we sell it in December when our new one - the G400d (haha) arrives. Cheers :)
G 500 is much more classy than g63 its a car to keep for 20 years
When you close the door on the g it is possible to push it closed after softly pushing it to that half open half closed state. Kinda like softclosing but manual.

I must be a weird woman then, I personally do not like it at all. I find it's a bit a car for a youtube brat like jake paul and what have you. It's not aesthetically pleasing either.

I miss all of my ex’s nieces and nephews, despite the screaming and tantrums. The vibrancy of life in them was so refreshing!! I’m re-married and none of us have children. Life can get so mundane and quiet. It’s makes me feel youthful hearing children exploring the world. It’s a good reminder to enjoy life. I remember it was a handful. But I love it so much. I’ve got a rare degenerative condition so I’ve chosen to not have children myself, there’s a 50% chance of passing it on and my life expectancy is 51, so it wouldn’t be fair to adopt. So thank you for sharing your family. It makes us feel welcome and we welcome you all with love. Ive been following you both for 8 years now I think, you all are so blessed ♥️

Just remember Omaze is a for-profit company, and they deduct a "fee" for themselves and also the cost of prizes before giving the rest to charity (which might not be a lot). But Jon said it too, it's a lottery. That they give some of the money away is just a bonus.

I work as a Quality assurance here at VW plant here in US. And the issue on the door could be on the fitment. The striking force is too strong and thats why it does that. Definitely something that can get fixed just by adjusting the door striker.

The g wagon is a beast, you can do whatever you want, You can drive on the road but also in the dirt. And the looks of a g wagon has never been changed its still a cube on wheels! I do love it!!

Jon is the only person to go from sounding Swedish, to sounding American in the very old videos, to sounding more Swedish again.
Many Swedish sound American while speaking English, especially when they become fluent.
He's now speaking Swedish almost 100% of the time compared to before when it was mostly English since he was on the road and hanging out with Americans all the time

If you read the small print on their "charity", you'll see that only 15% of what ppl actually donate goes towards the foundation. The rest is kept in the Omaze companys pocket. Maybe not the best company to team up with, but I guess it's easier to get ppl to donate this way. Even if the company itself makes waaaay more money than the charity does.

tbh i love watching you finding why we are loving the Gs with family with kids with your wife.. rather than more "pro" thoughts or any data 1-60 1-100 safety specs and etc...which we can get it easily from everywhere. Great parents bringing children experienced more in a safe way with those safety baby seats!!!
As I m a fan of you since you skiing and you start your vlog, I really appreciate how you progress in life, and to me when you have your kids around for video is just showing us you are a real person like other one with a nice life. Life is not always perfect and easy, so showing the down side to have a family is different.
I m 40 years old with 2 young kids and do the same as you, car life, with sport and family activity.

G wagen is my all time fav vehicle ! I’ve had three over the years and wishing to upgrade for the new one !
Same. I’ve had 4 of them starting with 2002 G500, 2012 G550, 2014 G63 and I RENNTECH’d the G63 to 635hp and it got too loud, and the suspension on the AMGs are too too stiff - so I sold it and got a 2017 G550. The wider tire sidewalls on the G550 make pavement bumps smoother too. I am really not a fan of the new ones. I drove a 2020 and felt that all the “driving character” is gone. We have a GLS as well, so we can just drive that when we want easy, smooth front suspension.
It makes them feel safe.

Good choice Warner! VW California is great as the only car. Perfect for everyday use, family, traveling...it can do all the things. Not a supercar, no V8, so sorry Jon, but the rest is just perfection.

Im with janni, either its a BIG car or super small vehicle. Big one could carry everything in one pick, small one is effective and simple. Although im not into G wagon, but prefer the other G class.
You have to drive the Mercedes eqb! It's an electric suv with 7 seats!
You can add soft close aftermarket. In Russia is a popular option.
My top 3 would be:
1. GTC4 lusso V12
2. Porsche panamera hybrid
3. G63 AMG

I just bought the 2022 Land Rover defender and it’s not the same by any means but i love it for all the same reasons, it’s super rad.

My car would probably be a Mustang GT350. Not because it's expensive or its crazy fast. I just love the look of it and it never gets old. And additionally everyone likes it when you drive by!

I drive a model Y and I love it! But this G would 100% be my dream car and (agree with Janni) would definitely be better if it were electric!
Also, you can’t help it with the kids in the background that’s just how it is! People need to get used to it/tune it out.
