I knew there was no way you’d be in Sweden for a whole month and not end up buying a home there 😂 especially with how much you loved not being in a hotel when you visit. I’m surprised you haven’t done it sooner!!
They already signed for it last year I believe, or at least the reserved it last November if I'm not mistaken

@@criticalme1878 He has already commented about the Lombok house in previous vlogs and so has Benni - I think they still have the lot there but the build was postponed due to 2 babies + Covid. The last one makes building material availability and traveling super difficult so it is best to wait and instead invest to where their family lives and later continue with the Lombok project when it makes more sense.
Jon, I would Hire an arborist to come out and make sure all your trees are healthy. Since they are such a big part of the project. A professional will make them healthy and grow even better!
Yes also to make sure the Soil is healthy!! with fungi etc.

Not allowed building permit wise but no where in the rules does it state that you xant have an inflatible one like they have on yachts...😁 100% happening!

Jon Olsson actually that is a better idea 💡 something from let’s say a balcony that would inflate out towards the sea and when you are done playing de flate it back to the house I think it may be a custom job make it nice and neat, but you’re Jon Olsen you ripped the roof of a G wagon 4x4 you can make it happen. Mad idea here, but when you (Jon) is sitting on your computer creating, thinking and doing stuff with the house, it would be so interesting if you could live-stream it. In that way we could learn more about the extremely long and complex process of building a house. (On a smaller scale, this could perhaps be for just one of the rooms or the guest house, but I think you would have a nice audience, that could provide you with ideas and perhaps help you with making decisions). Either way, or not all, huge congrats on the lot - what a location!

So nice, i really missed the idea of the kids having more time with their grandparents!! Really lovely to see, that this is going to change soon, even though marbella and monaco are very nice, but time with the fam is priceless! :)
What a dream.... Be in Sweden during the summer, close to relatives and friends, than visit the grandparents in the north during the snowy season some time and then the relatives and friends can come and visit the warm places during the cold/rainy Swedish seasons... Really get all the good things from every place... :) And at the same time get more and more oportunities to hang out with importante ppl! Really a dream of mine! :) So nice to see someone have the same dreams/plans (even thought they/you do it on an entirely other $ level ofcourse!

I would love to see some renders/blueprints of the house planning! Amazing to see you do this! Can’t wait for the finished product.
Trees also conserve the nature, give life to birds and insects, stabilises the soil from being washed away at heavy rainfalls, gives protection from the wind and also gives shade and stops the undergrowth from drying out. Plus the smell of pine trees is unbeatable and you can mate pine tree tea too 👍

So now I'm really jealous. There's nothing like this possible in the UK. Country house, boat parked up outside, 20 mins from the capital - amazing. As much detail on the process as possible please!
Of course it's possible, all one needs is a lot of £££. I bet Jon paid an insane amount of money for that lot, like he said, the neighbours are the King, or friends of the King, ie. the aristocracy of Sweden.
On the other hand, 20 mins from London and that kind of awesomeness would probably be owned by the Queen or an oligarch and then no matter the amount of £ would matter?
I guess we just could enjoy Jon and Jannis journey for this summer estate and be happy on their behalf :)

The trimtec marker (the one you tought where for practice shooting) is for the exponents prospecting and working for say "Lantmäteriet" and other firms. Its used to map up height differences and distances over a lot and so on. Maybe it was done before the listing to ensure how big the lot was?

Will probably be sold quickly but there’s no reason to not build at the moment. I don‘t know his finances but I don‘t expect him to keep 4 properties (monaco, marbella, sweden, lombok) at this point
think it is still on, just needs time. He did talk about it some time ago
Best time to go to Indonesia is in March - June months so before typical the European summer.
Its going ahead full speed, was just Covid and babys that slowed down the process, just waitibg for updsted floorplan with baby rooms as that was not something that was needed when we drew the first layout! 😂
@@respect_the_melon2787 that is not the time issue. It is rather designing and building a house with 2 small kids. As we know Jon he wants to be par tof the process of the design.

Hope you’re building it kind of traditionally with a lot of wood like Jens’ house.
I guess everyone would love renders and update videos through the whole process of planning, building and furnishing!
Jens house is a more modern take on the traditional mountain lodge. It doesn't really fit outside Stockholm. The house is problably going to end up more like "Villa Aspvik" by the same architect which is only a few km away. It's probably going to be a lot of wood either way since that's the mopst common building material in Sweden for obvious reasons.
It would be easier to list the things we don't want to see with this build, show it all (or as much as possible!)

but you need to think that Lombok is in the southern hemisphere so whene in Sweden is summer, in Lombok is “winter” and vice versa.

I’m guessing it won’t be ready for at least a year, after they have a finished sketch of the house they need a permission to start building and that can take some time to get approved.
