I lived in Sweden for 5 years and loved it. i love your images of Swedish forest and wild life..
I am seriously concerned about you not wearing a life jacket in the canoe. WE lived in Gällö, near Östersund for several weeks one summer. It was beautiful weather but the water in the lakes was very cold.
You know about physiology, how quickly the body shuts down in very cold water Please take care.

There are a two main reasons I love watching Dani's videos. First and foremost the content is unbelievably good. The scenery and wildlife are shown in glorious detail that both makes my heart skip a beat and at the same time slows it down as I just relax and chill out. Secondly and perhaps slightly unusual is her voice. I suffer from bouts of clinical depression and find that the sound of Dani's voice can help break me out of the cycle. It doesn't seem to mater what she is saying it is the tone, pace and just rexing atmosphere her voice generates. I don't think I could ever say a big enough thank you to her for the difference she makes in my life.

Fabulous video and insight into your personal world. You truly understand even though it may be strange at times the importance of having a personal connection with your viewers and showing the person behind the lens as much as the wildlife. I also love how you touched on the hours that go into the "boring stuff" as well, as a photographer myself oftentimes people don't realize for 3 hours of shooting so many more hours can go into editing, culling and other business related activity. Personally I'd love to see a video covering some behind the scenes editing techniques you use for both video and stills. The mood your videos create it wonderful and we look forward to every new release. Thanks for being you!

    Excellent video !
As a swedish citizen I sadly agree about the lack of empathy for wild animals and the bad preservetion of the nature.
To the outside world we give another view !
You have noticed all the clearcuted areas with treeplantations replacing the primeval forests, leaving Sweden with only 0,3% Primeval forest. We are tought in school how good it is with treeplantations and our nature preservation is adapted to the forest industries. actually many scientists work for the forestry and making up the rules...

@@OlafPawbelt Well, I guess it depends on where you are and when. Hiking between Hemavan and Ammarnäs in late June was horrible in some places, especially around Tärnasjö because of the mosquitoes. Despite being fully covered and wearing a mosquito net it was impossible to stop there. Another nasty experience was when I was climbing with a friend for 4h about 20 km from Skellefteå. I had unprotected gaps of a couple of cm above each ankle. There were lots of midgets, so afterwards I had swollen rings on each leg above the ankles due to a couple of hundred bites on each leg.

Not to be annoying, just like to add that it's not a bunny/ rabbit but a mountain hare, a completely different species. It is bigger than a rabbit, has longer ears and hind legs, and its fur changes color from brown/grey to white in the winter, while rabbits keep the same color year round. Hares are also not kept as pets. It would be an excellent moment to answer your daughters excitement with some education on wild life.

Japan is a must on your itinerary! Winter especially for the country side with some snow capped traditional thatched roof home and you should look into Hokkaido as your destination. If you want good traditional architectural Kyoto is nice as well. I mean over all Japan is a picturesque country range from bustling neon light city to remote country side landscape and wild life. If you are there in the winter, definitely hit up on some onsen (hot spring) to unwind your photography journey and try some delicious Japanese cuisine too. Oh, since you are all things camera, of course check out the latest and greatest camera gears in Akihabara at their electronic shops.

About your the forest with the squirrels - I really like your approach. The owner gets to decide. Forestry in Sweden have big conflicts between owners and those who want to stop them from cutting any trees that. What they never do is to buy the forest themselves.

Hi Dani, I’m happy to get a chance to see and hear this video which I’m glad. You and your husband made a wonderful career in what you love and enjoy. I would very much like to purchase some of your prints and the calendar’s once they make public. Your devotion to nature is admirable, so continue to film those videos. If you ever go live stream that would be even better. Perhaps, I would join you in one of your group outings. Bless you both🙏 and thank you for sharing

Yes, content driven, however you put it, with the appropriate equipment, artistic design paramount to draw people in, all of the counts for ease of mind and delivery of purpose. I like that you have a forward-thinking program to develop your business profile. Dani, you are exemplary in your ability to create, and we all Love you for it, Really. Yes, the middle of the lake, even fiords, and sounds in my case, is your safe haven. Into the light you travel, creating.............

Oh, man. Iceland and Antarctica?!?! That's so much my dream... I've even looked into open jobs for both. Also, I'm half-Japanese and lived in Japan as a kid and a return is very much a goal, as well. Can't wait to see your work in all of those.

I feed the birds in the garden during winter.
We usually get up to 3 squirrels coming to the feeders. They seem to preffer the sun flower seeds.

You are so good at what you are doing! I can see on the animals around you that you are a very nice and caring person.
Animals can hardly be fooled. Logging in Sweden, yes it's terrible I hate it. I had a bunch of woodpeckers every winter, then they felled trees and the woodpeckers disappeared for several years, now some is back but not the same ones.
I also think you see the country in different ways then others who live here. You see and tell the beautify in the landscape.
    I relay love your work!
