@@Jedi_Luke thanks I’ll look into it.
My Lexus is250 2006 won’t start I press the the break and push start it no start
I’m having the same issue have you fixed it?
Any updates?
@@jefrialait happened to me earlier today i changed my battery and it didn’t work. then got a jump from a friend. it took a couple minutes to charge up then i was good
I think my crankshaft is out was your car running before it went out
Do you mean crankshaft sensor? The crankshaft is not something that would just break for no reason. My car ran fine, I just went out to start one day and it wouldn't start. It just needed a new positive battery cable
jedi, glad i found your vid, i dont know if my problem is same as your, this morning i cranked it up , ran for 3 seconds, turn off, cant turn anymore after that, check battery, even try jumping, nothing, the positive terminal was hard cake white, clean it and put back, nothing all day, just went out 7 hours later, crank it up, ran for 1 second and it shut off again,, please help
jedi
You're gonna have to check both ends of the cable way down by the starter. If your cable was cake white then it's most likely corroded all the way and time for replacement. That happens on older cars.
@@Jedi_Luke i will today, jedi, do the cable, but like i also say, wonder about anything fuel related, i went out and start and it crank up and run about 1 second and stop, originally i thought it was starter, but this tell me not starter.? maybe?
@@peternugeny1834 starter is most likely fine. Starter does not keep a car running, it just starts it up. Do you have 250 or 350?
@@Jedi_Luke 350 luke
You arw good at what you do
Thank you. I try to do my best
I think im having the same problem, can i have the part number or link to the wires
I didn't use OEM wires, I just got some battery cables from a local parts store and cut the ends off. Then I replaced the ends with OEM connections. Much cheaper that way. Just universal cables like these 👇

Did you get the dashboard and door panels replaced under you or did prior owner get it done? Dealership won’t replace mine because I missed some deadline 😠
The previous owner replaced mine. He's had the car since brand new. Yeah there was only a 10 year period to replace them. I wouldn't have bought this car if they weren't replaced already. Best you can do is keep checking the junkyards or the Facebook groups for someone doing a part out.
wow didn’t know there was a 10 year period. I must of got mine done right at the deadline I’ve had my 06 350 since 2015. got it done in 2016. 225k miles and now having the issue in this video but before this been bulletproof.
Lexus Canada won't help me either, and I approached them six years ago shortly after I bought my 2007 IS350 in 2016 - used of course. I'm the second owner. Shortly after I bought it, the dash started cracking. Now, the dash looks like a jigsaw puzzle, and the door panels are all smudgy. Every pvc based component on this car is complete crap. Door and window trim. Outside trunk release. All junk. I was such a Toyota fan. No more.
am having the same problem was your check engine on
Yes, but it was for "System too lean" codes. P0174 and P0171
How many miles
123k. Still a baby
What happened to your battery sensor
Battery wasn't the problem.
I bought 2012 IS250 a week ago. Owner said and replaced a new battery. I enjoyed driving around. All of sudden, no power at all, can't start and lock. What went wrong ? Help !
No power? Check the battery connections and fusible link
Sounds like you crane sensor. 😊
Damn that's a steal - 125k, one owner $6500! You did not say what year and where? I guess your seller has not been paying attention to the used car market.. Which is good for you! LOL
I paid $12K for my 08, 103K, 2 owner, well maintained (NC).
Mine is a 06 and it was in Alabama. The reason I got a good deal was because 1. He really didn't need the money, guy had a 2021 Lexus LS in the driveway and 2. Not everyone is looking to get over on people. These 350's are nice cars, but very tiny and almost 20 years old. This used car market is insane right now, but if you look hard enough you can find good deals. I just got a 05 Acura RL and 02 Acura MDX for $1200 each....it does help that I'm a mechanic who can fix most things that most people would have to go to shops or pay someone to do lol.
I paid $4500 for my 07 GS 130k miles (Charlotte, NC) 🙂
@@Only1Kato GS350 or GS300?

Bro please contact me 🙏🏾 I have the same issue Is250 2007
You replaced the positive battery cable?
No sir I only replaced the terminals for the positive
@@Dallas2Much That won't fix anything if you have a corroded positive cable like I did. You gotta replace the whole wire that goes from the battery down to the starter.
Bought 2011 IS250 a week ago. Owner said a new battery. After changing oil, I enjoyed. All of sudden, battery died at my driveway n, no power at all. Can't lock and start. Help me bro !
I got mines for 3,000 you didn’t get a deal
No way you got one of these in America for $3000 unless it was clapped out or has high mileage 🤣
Engine built like a tank
👍👍👍👍
Fix the Lexus first so she can drive.
Great video!!!!!
