If da starter and relay plus fuse ignition switch it is ok so what is da other move cause my problem da car crank maybe 10 second after that no crank at all so wait until long time and you can crank again same thing crank 10 second and no more crank
When I jump started my car it wouldn't start cause of the security light being on after a few minutes I got out closed the door and trigger the alarm then disarm the alarm got in it started right up so basically after a few minutes 5 the max get out alarm the car if u hear it alarm it's ready to start up everything is rebooted
My 2011 started up with not starting this morning. Had to do with drivers door, open and close it along with shaking steering wheel. Everything was blacked out then the starter button was orange then turned green but would not start. Finally does start but it has something to do with the drivers door contacting the dashboard?

Ive got no power whats-so-ever to the dash. Clicking under/around/inside? the fuse box. Started for four days until the battery ran down one night from the clicking I guess. HOT positive cable. upon trying to charge the battery clicking sound grew fainter until power was gone and i was unable to get it back. Is it the ecu?
I had the same problem, the power wasn’t going from the battery until i changed the alternator and it worked fine ever since. I bought it from junkyard for very cheap price.

Can you post more on the 2007 lexus GS 350? Changing coil packs / transmission filter/ water pump/ head gasket / height sensor/ catiylc converter and un-clogging them. I Like the way u walk through and explain other possabilities in your videos.

2007 Lexus GS450H, recharged my battery at it was below 12v and the car turns on when I put into gear it moved back and then I parked. Now, I turn it back on and the dash and lights turn on but now the car doesn't move at all when I put into gear.. Not sure if there is any other things I can check why it doesn't move after in gear.. just like to know your thoughts.. thanks
I have a 2010 lexus 350gs my radio went come on and off. Then I was pushing the knob of my radio and the display screen started to flash on and off and then all my dash lights came on. I quickly got off the street and park my car and the steering wheel locked.. on the dash it says Check Charging System. I have a good battery I'll check the alternator and especially wiring..
hi Mario. Could you please screenshot immo ecu parametres on lexus is250? I at wits end with my car, immo problem, no good communication with EFI in immo parametres, otherwise everything checked (stop switch, autotrans selector, etc) No fault codes! Start switch always red, not green. Car doesnt crank at all
The steering lock is part of the anti theft system. If there's a malfunction there it will prevent a crank. Could be a jammed steering lock assembly, or an issue with the communication between the steering lock module and the main body ecu. It's going to take some diagnosing. Nearly impossible to do by texts.
Thank you again. I have good power and grounds and also communication from the main ecu to the steering lock ecu. I don't want to guess but I haven't found a good diag procedure.
Then it looks like it'll be your steering lock actuator assembly. If you have good power and ground at the steering lock ecu. Using live data, there should be a pid for steering lock actuation or command. If you can confirm that the main ecu is in fact commanding the lock/unlock, then all that's left is the steering lock/ecu assembly. Could be the steering ecu receiving the command but failing to actuate, or it could be actuating the lock but the lock fails to actuate. Is there any noise in the steering column when turning the key on or off?

The Technician changed the FUSE BOX underneath the driver cabin with another one and then the car started but most things didn't work...The car remote not locking the car, the steering wheel not auto moving, the parking assist not turning on. then the battering was disconnected and now the car can't even start at all. pls what should I do? As per the manual I am supposed to bring the remote key closer to Engine Start button and it's supposed to work. However, it only works when the Engine is idle for few hours. There's no alarm on my display, I can only see the BATTERY and ENGINE CHECK LED. Please advise.

This was great. I have a similar concern. I just changed my battery, spark plugs, ignition coils, fuel injectors, knock sensors, and camshaft position sensor B. The car starts, but anytime it’s cold, the starter runs for 5 or so seconds before the engine turns over. It never fails to start, though. Once started or warm, it restarts immediately and normally. Any insight into this?
You have to push the brake pedal down.....then push the start pushbutton to send voltage to the coil for the relay to 'pick' for the contacts to close ...to send power to the starter motor
I had a Toyota Avalon no crank. And it had a dtc for no Communication with the steering wheel lock actuator control module. I tested power ground and comms to the module and all were good. So I was bit confused. I even ran a test of the key fob. That passed. Everything looked like it was working yet no crank. So I decided to check the key fob battery and it was good too. 3 volt spec. 3 volts present. Then I reassembled the key fob. And just like that the car started. Key fob was working. And everything fixed itself. So apparently the key fob no talking to the security system was causing the steering lock module to not actuate. This in turn was making the power source module think it had no comms with the slm. I did scan for security codes and there no codes anywhere but the power source module and slm. Both were defined as no comms with steering lock module. The key fob battery had a bad connection. As soon as I removed and reinstalled the battery to the key fob everything worked.
Unfortunately it wasn't my problem, I replaced it today and same thing. I accidentally connected the battery cables backwards. Sorry I didn't mentioned that. Which is very important to diagnose everything else. Nothing works in my car , I can't start it the Normal way. I changed a Bunch of blown fuses , except the long ones, cause I can't test them. And I don't even know what their purpose is. So that's where I'm at right now. Trying to figure out if the fusible links,( I think is what they're called) are the problem. What do you think? My mother in law has a 2008 ES350 having the same issues, but it will start after a while. Everything lights up like normal when she presses the button. Battery was replaced a month ago. Could this be the starter? It’s about a $85 part to try it. Never acts up for her mechanic. Thanks!
Did you ever figure out what the fix was in your mother in law's car? My wife car does the same thing. Green light comes on push start but car will not start. Leave it alone for about 5 - 10 minutes and then it will start. This happens about once a week
@@snakedadAZ Yes, she actually just got it back from a Lexus Dealer. They ended up replacing the PRNDL and it solved the issue. Fairly easy fix. Good luck!

Mario do you have a video on replacing a starter on an 06 GS300. From time to time the car won’t start. It will drain battery. I turned the crank manually about 3/4 revolution. It felt like it loosened up and then started normally. I heard the starter is in a bad spot and is hard to replace on the GS300.

The codes are error ok so when the check engine and the parking light is on the car will crank and then the car will turn off again and then wont start and i took to 3 mechanics they are not able to find the problem
it crank for around 3 second and wont start and then instantly stop and i try to starter again and nothing it does even crank everything work but doesnt crank at all nothing, after one day i figure out that when i hit the push start it crank and instantly stop but the check engine light and the park sign disappear and wont do anything until they appear again for around 5 minutes and after check engine light and park sign appear it crank again but the samething happen crank for around 3 second and stop and then those to light goes away and i have to wait until they show up so i can crank it again but the car wont start either, please help me
My customer have the starter issue. My friend tap the starter and the car started to get her home. Instead of bringing it to me she took it to the dealership. Well they told her the ECM was bad and mess the starter up. Charged her over 2k to do the the job, including new ECM. I was like WTF.

Heyy bro, thank you for your insightful video. I am facing a similar problem with my Lexus GS300 2007 model. I am unable to turn it on. As per the manual I am supposed to bring the remote key closer to Engine Start button and it's supposed to work. However, it only works when the Engine is idle for few hours. There's no alarm on my display, I can only see the BATTERY and ENGINE CHECK LED. Please advise.

hey mario i have a lex is250 and it keeps blowing the fuse at the foot pedal relay.. reason being i stalled elds at rear . can i install bigger amp relay to avoid problem?

This was great. I have a similar concern. I just changed my battery, spark plugs, ignition coils, fuel injectors, knock sensors, and camshaft position sensor B. The car starts, but anytime it’s cold, the starter runs for 5 or so seconds before the engine turns over. It never fails to start, though. Once started or warm, it restarts immediately and normally. Any insight into this?

You have to push the brake pedal down.....then push the start pushbutton to send voltage to the coil for the relay to 'pick' for the contacts to close ...to send power to the starter motor

I had a Toyota Avalon no crank. And it had a dtc for no Communication with the steering wheel lock actuator control module. I tested power ground and comms to the module and all were good. So I was bit confused. I even ran a test of the key fob. That passed. Everything looked like it was working yet no crank. So I decided to check the key fob battery and it was good too. 3 volt spec. 3 volts present. Then I reassembled the key fob. And just like that the car started. Key fob was working. And everything fixed itself. So apparently the key fob no talking to the security system was causing the steering lock module to not actuate. This in turn was making the power source module think it had no comms with the slm. I did scan for security codes and there no codes anywhere but the power source module and slm. Both were defined as no comms with steering lock module. The key fob battery had a bad connection. As soon as I removed and reinstalled the battery to the key fob everything worked.

Unfortunately it wasn't my problem, I replaced it today and same thing.
I accidentally connected the battery cables backwards.
Sorry I didn't mentioned that. Which is very important to diagnose everything else.
Nothing works in my car , I can't start it the Normal way.
I changed a Bunch of blown fuses , except the long ones, cause I can't test them. And I don't even know what their purpose is. So that's where I'm at right now.
Trying to figure out if the fusible links,( I think is what they're called) are the problem.

Why 2006 IS250 won't start when engine hot?
My mother in law has a 2008 ES350 having the same issues, but it will start after a while. Everything lights up like normal when she presses the button. Battery was replaced a month ago. Could this be the starter? It’s about a $85 part to try it. Never acts up for her mechanic. Thanks!
Did you ever figure out what the fix was in your mother in law's car? My wife car does the same thing. Green light comes on push start but car will not start. Leave it alone for about 5 - 10 minutes and then it will start. This happens about once a week
@@snakedadAZ Yes, she actually just got it back from a Lexus Dealer. They ended up replacing the PRNDL and it solved the issue. Fairly easy fix. Good luck!

I have this problem on my c200h: the battery is dead. So I open the door with the key, open the hood, connect the car jumper, but the alarm goes off and I can't turn it off with the key or remote key or start button. Please help.
And the key fob battery is good?
@@SuperMarioDiagnostics yes it is good. I've also tried to lock unlock the door with mechanical key, but the hood stays open .
I found little motor is broken...now other new little motor...it is work star/stop started is done, thank you

Mario do you have a video on replacing a starter on an 06 GS300. From time to time the car won’t start. It will drain battery. I turned the crank manually about 3/4 revolution. It felt like it loosened up and then started normally. I heard the starter is in a bad spot and is hard to replace on the GS300.

Good luck. The manual gives incorrect information on how to do it. Also says it takes 3.5 hours to complete.

Going to need a lot more info to be able to help. Scan the entire car, what codes do you have?
The codes are error ok so when the check engine and the parking light is on the car will crank and then the car will turn off again and then wont start and i took to 3 mechanics they are not able to find the problem
So it cranks for a little while, never starts, then stops cranking on its own? Does the light go from green to Orange when you press the brake pedal?
it crank for around 3 second and wont start and then instantly stop and i try to starter again and nothing it does even crank everything work but doesnt crank at all nothing, after one day i figure out that when i hit the push start it crank and instantly stop but the check engine light and the park sign disappear and wont do anything until they appear again for around 5 minutes and after check engine light and park sign appear it crank again but the samething happen crank for around 3 second and stop and then those to light goes away and i have to wait until they show up so i can crank it again but the car wont start either, please help me

My customer have the starter issue. My friend tap the starter and the car started to get her home. Instead of bringing it to me she took it to the dealership. Well they told her the ECM was bad and mess the starter up. Charged her over 2k to do the the job, including new ECM. I was like WTF.
