I don't know about you, but this is the first time I've heard Clapton on Buddy Holly's Stratocaster. I find that sounds amazing, especially when he plays along with the music. That duller and dirtier sound of this Fender requires a top-level guitarist to make it sound harmonic. Clapton, my favorite guitarist of all my life...
Ovo je savršenstvo ..ritam , vokal klavijatre bubnjevi i veličanstveni Eric Clapton ...moj vječni idol ...hvala za svaku proizvedenu , odsviranu notu 🎶🎶🎹😎🎸🎤🥁😎🙏🙋♂️
@Moyetniishiswa2000 I'm with you on this. Steve Ferrone was much better with Eric, the music had more energy compared to when Gadd started playing with him.
Whaoo quel groupe exceptionnel. Monsieur Clapton, you are one of the best, les choristes on des voies magnifique elle me donne la chair de poule. Bravo, merci monsieur Eric Clapton pour le bonheur que vous nous donné
How many times must we tell the tale? How many times must we fall? He had such a great voice still, and clearly played beautifully, why they had to mix him so far back in the mix is also a mystery. This wonderful track is also one of those that sound deceptively simple, only because Nathan East is there. Try playing this in a cover band and nine times out of ten it just won’t last past the second chorus…. What a solid yet fluid bass!
I love the backup singers but I wish they were just a very little bit quieter, or clapton could be just a touch louder. I would like to hear a bit more of him on the pretendings
I disagree. I think the lady on the right is overdoing it. In fact, I cant even hear the other back up singers, and she's almost louder than Mr. Clapton. But to each his own opinion.
this man is a G O D
At 70 he still rocks
My one and only time to see Clapton he opened with the song.
Rocked the frame off the building .
God bless eric Clapton
Clapton is top of his game here. What a band. Wow.
yes
The great thing about Eric’s style is that he relies so little on effects,he lets his fingers do the work, awesome!
The best version
The best there ever was…..Slowhand giving a clinic on music, style and overall coolness…..😂😇😍
How you cannot dislike anything Eric sings or plays - always on top!!
I think you meant like not dislike
@@dansoros "How can you dislike anything Eric sings or plays; always on top!" (English 101) 😂
@@cubnation Yeah but he said "cannot"
What I love about Eric Clapton is…. He’s so great. And he changes it up all the time. Phenomenal

Clapton, my favorite guitarist of all my life...
Ouffff I'm in love with this song, and I trip on it ohhh what a beautiful trip.
The best part of the whole concert was to be able to see the amp settings on this song.
@Darren Vernall Check! :D
With Paul Carrack in piano/keyboards and Nathan East on Bass ,a luxury
Clapton and friends all have snap . The back up vocals ,Oh those ladies keep it soufoul and beautiful 😍

Thanksgiving Night 2019 - Can't get any better getting lost listening to Eric Clapton Slowhand @ 70 👍
Good solo...not lead guitar...
Singer pretty good too....hahahaa
Ridiculous. Dammit I never got to see this
Sounds like an old mustang engine…
Great band great music great artiest wow
Eric Clapton...Guitar player to rock n roll star to legend to institution....follow the progression.
Watching Eric is always a treat. I'm a guitar guy but, Steve Gadd kills it. He works so hard. Great video.
My man, Steve Gadd from my home town Rochester NY! He's freaking amazing!
Don’t like Steve Gadd’s drumming at all. Steve Ferone, Steve Jordan... even Jamie Oldaker.
He damn sure does.
Super tight!
@Moyetniishiswa2000 I'm with you on this. Steve Ferrone was much better with Eric, the music had more energy compared to when Gadd started playing with him.
So great
Maestrooo
EC best band ever!!!

Living in lost memory you just recalled
Working on the sound of the band
Trying to get the music right
Two go out work
Three stay home at night
That's when she said she was pretending
Like she knew the plan
That's when I knew she was pretending
Pretending to understand
Pretending
Pretending
Pretending
Pretending
Satisfied, but lost in love
Situations change
You're never who you used to think you are
How strange
That's when she said she was pretending
Like she knew the plan
That's when I knew she was pretending
Pretending to understand
Pretending
Pretending
Pretending
Pretending (pretending, pretending)
I get lost in alibis
Sadness can't prevail
Everybody knows how love can't fail
Don't be pretending
'Bout how you feel
Don't be pretending
The love is real
Don't be pretending
'Bout how you feel
Don't be pretending
To love is real
Pretending
Pretending
Pretending
Pretending (pretending, pretending)

Je prétends et je signe,il est le plus grand
Unwatchable because the director thinks camera angles are more important than the performance. Made me dizzy.

Many have covered. Notables. Joe Bonamassa included. But this is the the real deal.

Me impresionó en 1990, y me sigue gustando está canción.
I love the backup singers but I wish they were just a very little bit quieter, or clapton could be just a touch louder. I would like to hear a bit more of him on the pretendings

I miss the guitar fills, but otherwise awesome.
This song should always have a guest guitarist come on and jam alongside
Agreed. John Mayer smashed it

Is that Steve Gadd on drums ?
God?
Why those guys are just sitting in their cosy chairs, C'mon get up, show some respect and also get in the groove.
I know. I almost got thrown out of a Bonamassa show for "rocking too hard" fuck you I paid my money im gonna rock.
No shit. That's why I don't go to Bonamassa shows anymore. A bunch of Librarians with their thumbs up their asses
dafuk guitar
Petty ende ok gracias a .mm
Killer
Nothing like 2 sexy black girls singing backing vocals 🔥🔥🔥
Five plus minutes of ripping your face off. Five minutes well spent
Clapton has lost a step, but is still really good. Most of the others are dead; Hendrix, Alvin Lee, Dwane Allman, etc.
Mr Wilburn, I am a guitar player for 6 decades....no sir,....Mr Clapton has lost nothing...
Luv ya slowhand but when Michelle John becomes the highlight,it's time to hang it up..
Eric Paulino your a idiot Clapton has only gotten better with age
M
This song just isn't the same without the lead guitar parts. Still a great performance though.
