Thanks for the video. I am staying in the tropics so we dont bother with the heater. Its just that I sort of play with climate control knob and adjusted to max. heating , then all the sudden I could not bring the temperature down. Since there is a possiblity that the blender door is stuck in the position , I decided to tap on the casing to see if I could free its movement. It works and now the car climate control is working normally.
thanks for video. WHERE is it? Do I have to take out glove box? Is it underneath. It is on the passnger side, right? 2000 Honda Accord is what I have. Thanks!
Omg, so happy I found ur video, its winter in Kansas and have not been able to use our 99 accord coupe Because the blender or actuator did not seem to be working but I looked at your video 3 or 4 times got under the - with a flashlight I could barely reached the little white lever and the metal rod I turned the key on and turned it over to heat and pulled on the metal lever And felt it move over to heat and then started the car and now I have heat thank you so much for your video
I have a 98 accord and my temperature control is stuck on high (heat). Does this fix this issue? [edit] I bought a replacement part it fixed the problem.
Sha, can you help me out please? Is this switch under the motor, in the car under the dashboard, or where? I have a 98 Honda Accord and having problems with my AC and it's not my freon that's causing the problem.
Not sure what you trying to ask here but if you turn it to 70 and you dont get some warm air but you only get heat if you turn all the way up to 80 then the actuator might not be working correctly
Or you water switch at the engine bay could be seize have someone look look at the switch at the engine bay while you turn the heat nob to see if the water switch actually turning or not..for the accord the actuator you should see the actuator turn a little even if you only turn it alittle bit to heat
I’m thinking it may be actuator to is it one under dash on passengersider of car we used it last year and it blew hot for a while and cools then goes back to blowing hot in winter time
For this honda accord is under the passenger dash near the center console. Most most car should located on the side of the center console underneath the dash broad.

Sorry for late respond, but it's under the passenger compartment box near the center consoles. I think there is a cover that cover it.
Hi, is this the same motor that controls the vents on the windshield area?
Not sure what you're trying to ask here but this, it only just contro froml hot to cool air. Its doesnt open or close any vent.
No. That one is on the drivers side.
This one is the AC to heat actuator
Would this actuator cause haveing to turn heater temp up to 80s to get heat when it’s down on 70 s it blows cold 99 accord v6
