Honda Accord Climate Control Permanent Fix 1998-2002

This is not a IT related video rather a fix for a 1998-2002 Honda Accord Climate Control Repair. A resistor solder joint breaks every time you put the climate control cover back on. Please leave the middle screw out and don't even bother putting it back in. Be very careful when putting the climate control back together and only barely tighten the screws to the cover. The board ends up bending if you tighten the screws back down to hard thus rebreaking the solder joint.

What all issues does that cause? The issue I’m having on mine is that either EVERYTHING works normally (except some bulbs) or NOTHING works at all, compressor wont kick on, mode door wont change and temp door wont change. It’s intermittent, and typically it works normally when it’s hot, and doesnt work when its a little cooler and humid, but still hot enough to want a/c. Fan works normally but it’s a whole separate circuit. It’s like the whole unit just shuts down. Theres numerous spots that are green and appear corroded. Any help is appreciated
