Is there a rubber insulator on the sides of the door? I have something like grease that has broken down from the heat. Is this a rubber insulator so that the door can be closed perfectly? How do I replace it? Or is there an alternative to solve this problem?
Yes, there is typically a rubber or foam insulator around the blend door to ensure a proper seal and smooth operation; if it has degraded, you can replace it with adhesive-backed foam tape or a similar heat-resistant material to restore functionality.
Good evening, I have a situation where no air comes out of the front window? Even at maximum nothing comes out and I can feel the wind coming out of my foot area. Do you know what it could be and its location? thanks . Nissan qashqai j11
Likely Causes Faulty Mode Door Actuator: The mode door actuator is responsible for directing airflow to the appropriate vents (e.g., defroster, dashboard, or footwell). If it's stuck or malfunctioning, it may fail to redirect air to the front window. Blocked or Stuck Mode Door: The mode door itself could be stuck or obstructed by debris, preventing proper movement. Blower Motor Issues: While less likely, if the blower motor isn't delivering sufficient pressure, airflow may be weak in certain areas. Control Panel Malfunction: A faulty HVAC control panel or wiring issue could prevent the mode door actuator from receiving the correct signal.
When I start my Silverado, I hear a temporary dull noise. It's hard to describe but it sounds like a if a plastic gear trying to turn something plastic. I'm guessing it's the blend door on the lower left drivers side. A little bit of cold air comes out of the top vents. If I move the drivers temp control to hot, then to cold, ice cold air comes out of the top vents temporarily.
The issue you're describing with your Silverado could be related to the HVAC blend door actuator. These actuators are small motors with plastic gears that control the movement of the blend doors, directing airflow and adjusting temperature. Over time, the plastic gears can wear out or strip, causing the dull noise you mentioned.
My car has heat coming though vents and is not turned on at all why some one help me i spent $229.00 drove off from shop that say he put actuator on my car and 4 minutes car was on fire it seemed again inside he did nothing about it he just lied
Yes, the blend door actuator and the heater flap actuator motor are essentially the same component, as both control the movement of internal HVAC doors to regulate airflow or temperature in the system.
Short sweat video and straight to the point 🔥
Thanks!
I HAVE BEEN SERCHING FOR A WHILE THIS CAR PROBLEM THANK YOU VERY MUCH .....UR A LIFE SAVER
Welcome
Hey bro great video, how about the blend door it self?
Mi car's blend door is stuck on the heat position but heat I'm getting is warm only.

I mean the gate for air to enter from the outside or to divert it inside

I have the same issue, i replaced my cabin filter and then the next day i could mostly only feel the air at the passenger feet area
@@orlandodavalos289 The next day, it started working properly. try vacuuming the upper grille area, it could be some rubbish that is blocking it.

Is your car overheating? The extra heat could be from the engine.
is the blend door actuator the same as the Heater Flap Actuator Motor ? cause they look similar
Yes, the blend door actuator and the heater flap actuator motor are essentially the same component, as both control the movement of internal HVAC doors to regulate airflow or temperature in the system.
Driver's side gets heat and AC , passenger side gets AC as well but no heat
Same here
Definitely a bad blend door actuator.
Good job
Thanks
