This is literally the greatest guy ever. I met him once a few years ago, he blew me away speaking in his Mario voice to me so much so that I left forgetting to pay for the autograph. A few minutes later I remembered and went back to pay he then apologized to me even though it was entirely my mistake… Very positive fan experience! This guy should be doing Mario in the film.

I contest that this man deserves to be treated better, on par, if not as well as Stan the Man Lee, for his contributions to Video Games, voice acting, and Nintendo as a whole. Why his name is not as synonymous with Super Mario as Shigeru Miyamoto, I will never know.
