8:35 b4 allows the knight to jump into the white position. When you push pawns you have to acknowledge the weaknesses left behind and how your opponent will exploit them. It’s a good idea to not allow enemy pieces in your half of the board.
At the end of the video, you said that the ceiling of talent can be broken. I'll do you one better and argue that talent is not the ceiling but an uneven floor. In my opinion, talent is just a small head start that anybody can equalize with a little dedication.
I'm using Google Translate, so ignore the wrong translation ^-^ Hi Kize, I'm Brazilian and I recently discovered your channel. I don't normally follow RUclipsrs from other countries, but I'm loving your content and especially loving practicing English with your videos. I just wanted to say thank you for subtitling certain parts of the dialogue in your videos. ❤ A word in Brazilian Portuguese for you: Parabéns pela criatividade das ideias do seu conteúdo, você me inspira a fazer coisas diferentes, se um dia você quiser fazer algum vídeo envolvendo alguém de outro país como o Brasil, ficarei muito feliz em assistir esse conteúdo também ❤
talent is not a magical touch from heaven. but first is to enjoy the activity than practice practice pratice and have the determination to not give up. You can do anything you set your mind too.
The thing you describe is fixed mindset. Unfortunately I used to believe the same that our natural talent are the most accurate indicator of our ability which led me to give up on most things I loved as a kid. These videos are really inspiring. I cant really afford coaches to help guide me through things but taking a shot at things with a fresh perspective of growth is still motivating.
I am multi-skilled as well. Here are some suggestions that I tried already. Can you learn how to DJ - mixing with a controller or 2 turntables? and Learn Digital Photography but with manual settings? That would be fun to watch.
Loved the outro. It was my grandfather who taught me chess, and he passed away in August at the age of 87. I might very well pick up this challenge myself, to honour him.
okay I am confused if she played chess when she was 9 and won some state level tournaments then she can't be 800. those who don't know about chess tournaments - its pretty difficult for kids because most of the kids start learning chess from from the age of 5 or 6 and they are pretty good at it..they already know openings, middle game and endgame so winning among them require knowledge and skill. maybe she lives in a country where chess is not celebrated much idk.
What a ride. Thank you to Joe, Jeffrey, Alex, and @chess for all the help during this challenge ♡︎
awesome video and really good story telling keep learning something new ✨✨
Was an honor to be part of your journey!
Can you do an acting challenge dear @KizeBae?
The final opponent kind of looks like @GothamChess. However, it cannot be him because I did not see any sacrifice of...

She ‘tried’ chess after having played for years as a kid. Not exactly starting from beginner with an 800 ELO to start.
