Hey, I see a bunch of you guys having problems with sharpening your blades. I have done it, personally I don’t like the results as this doesn’t last long….and it’s really a temporary thing honestly; reason is because when you are sharpening on a stone, you are actually flattening your blades and your blades, look at them, they both-the stationary blade and the cutter blade come in on an angle. This technique he and others show on RUclips is a very temporary thing. You really are destroying the blades the more you sharpen them this way because a sharpening stone or sand paper sharpens them flat…. If you still want to know what to use, get a stone that is 400/1000- the 400 is where you sharpen it the first time, count the amount of passes and double that number on the 1000 side. But honestly and realistically, if you all pay top dollars for your hair clippers and want them to be sharp and give you nice crispy haircuts and shape-up lines; there is no substitution to sending them to a professional clipper blade sharpener. They have to proper tools and knowledge to properly sharpen your blades. Think of it like this-you spend your money on your equipment, don’t skim out on the proper maintenance of the tools as these tools are your money makers (barbers lets keep it real-stop being cheap. Get them sharpened professionally).

After sharping my blade it doesn't cut any hair
possible you did not sharp it correctly
It not work
This does not work. There must be grit that goes between the teeth to sharpen them
Bro, it does work. Note it is not every stone that has grit written on it.
