Thank you for the great information. I learned so many things watching this. You have no idea how many times I look at a page and have no idea what today. I forget I can just play and create.
I love mix media and have watched many artist but you explained the steps so well that I understand the process and I'm ready to try my hand at it again. Thank you for the wonderful videos.
I just cant get enough of your videos! Absolutely love your style and the way you explain everything, especially for beginners to journaling like myself. Cant wait to put some of them into practice for my first journal. xx
Val wow thank you so much and thank you for joining my membership. Feel free to browse my community tab for old member videos. The next one is February 13th, Once you put them into practice in your journal please share them in my facebook group or tag me on instagram. I can't wait to see them
I recycle the papers from the deli when we buy our bacon and other meats or cheese, they make great mats and I can cover my entire table and anything still on there with them and not get them sprayed. I'm still working on the floor though how to keep spray off there 🤣🤣 then I use the papers as backgrounds and wrapping paper.
wow don't they smell? because i just buy a package of deli paper but I use it for monoprinting. The floor is another story, I have carpet and there's stains everywhere but oh well lol part of the journey
@@KerenTamir nope, the papers are clean to the nose 😉 I have a box that our cat food tins come in and have that on its side with the papers folded to fit and they sit there aging beautifully from the exposure to the light. These are the papers that the weight label will come off without ripping the paper. That is when I cry a little and have to scrunch them up and put them into the recycle. I also have a flat pile in my craft/storage room that are looking nicely aged. We are renting, so I have to keep the floor reasonably clean. If I had my own way with a floor and our own place it would be wood floors and lots of stains from work 😄
the one I used here has 18 pages, others have 12. it varies depending on disc size and paper size. you can also buy your own discs and papers or add more papers to a journal if the disc is big
Hi Keren As a newbie to art journaling, I’m loving your videos-even taking notes on some-thank you! One question: I purchased the pixidust fixative spray and it arrived as a powder with no directions. I assume I am to add water, but don’t know amount. Can you advise? Thank you again
Yes they send it without water so it doesn’t weight as much for shipping. Just add warm water almost to the top. And shake sideways so the powder doesn’t get stuck inside the spout.
Diane, this particular tutorial is geared towards beginners, it does hurt people's feelings even if you don't think your comment is rude, but it is: because all of us creators put hours and hours into making these videos. You can choose not to watch them or fast forward them. They are free so its not like you paid for them, so why say something hurtful. I usually don't reply to people and just delete their comments but you seem a nice person . There are a lot of creators out there and you can choose to watch others with less explanations or talking. Most people love that I explain it all really well.

Thank you Keren I do love your tutorials but you do chat a lot ... sorry don’t mean to be rude just too much talking a lot is repetitive 👍
