    No, you do not talk too much. You’re a wonderful teacher. People that already know what you’re explaining can turn the volume down or fast forward like you said.

    Beautiful, Keren! I love how you take us through these pages step by step. So helpful! Also - you do NOT talk too much! It is important to share every step and I love to hear you.Your beauiful voice reminds me of my best friend in Brazil. We had our downstairs toilet papered with jungle wallpaper and I love the theme. (We call it the Drain Forest lol!) It has dark blue paper with stars for the ceiling! I hope you are really well today. So horrible that your disease confines you to your bed at times. Praying for you. x

      thank you so much Shoshi, this page is so old but I still love it. I love tropical weather. because it swarm but also because I grew up in Venezuela and so it reminds me of my childhood. Maybe thats why my accent reminds you of your best friend from Brazil. Did I say I sometimes can't get out of bed then. I don't remember what I said then lol I do try to be concise in my tutorials and also share part of me... I have my arthritis in good standing so I don't aggravate as much.

    It amazes me the things people feel okay saying to others. I think you do a fantastic job Keren and I for one appreciate the instruction you give. Everyone isn't at the same level of knowledge and I would rather someone err on the side of to much information for those of us stragglers lagging behind than gear everything towards the gazelle's that apparently don't need to be watching these instructional videos in the first place lol. Love your stuff!

      thank you so much for your kind words Briana! it amazes me too sometimes but I try not to pay attention. I love the saying "If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all" thanks so much!

    I love it. I learn some more with every lesson. And please, don't stop explaining, talking and teaching. We NEED you to do that. This is a beginning class, and I want ALL of your instruction. I will be going back time and again as I try out these. I really want the frond stencil. I love how it looked like shade on the butterfly in the first one. I am so glad you are up and around again. I was bedridden for nearly 14 years, and then I finally got better. So I really understand how depressing it gets, and I know just how much FUN you had with this piece being out of bed and creating. You are my favorite online teacher, and I watch a TON of online tutorials. Thank you again, Keren, and God bless you and your health. Scottish

    No, no, no, you do NOT over explain. Don’t listen to any of that. It’s so good the way you explain what you’re doing and why you do it.

      thank you so much. it means a lot to me because I always feel that why do people have to complain when they are getting free content. if you don't like what you're seeing, move on

    Keren I really like how this came out. At first I didn't think I would,but you again have done a great job showing how to do mixed media and stretching my mind. Sorry you have been feeling bad. I hope you knee gets better soon.

    • @KerenTamir
      @KerenTamir  6 лет назад

      yes sometimes in Mixed Media we have to have a long term vision because sometimes the beginning looks nothing like the end of the project. and sometimes i don't even know where it will take me. that's what I love about it!! thanks so much Donna!!

    So sorry you've been down for a bit. I'm new here, so have seen only a couple of your videos - which are helpful in terms of speed & style. I should be playing along with you, soon, as I, now, have my basic supplies!

    Nice spread, Keren. Really good explanation of balance for beginners and a reminder for the more experienced. Glad you could use the napkin. So glad the inflammation has settled down, allowing you to get back onto your artt room, and I hope you continue to feel better. Getting ready for the Nor'easter bringing 12-18" of snow and wind. Generator is ready, so I can play in the art room and not worry about outages.

      LOL a few people have said that so this is what I wrote to Donna below as well: sometimes in Mixed Media we have to have a long term vision because sometimes the beginning looks nothing like the end of the project. and sometimes i don't even know where it will take me. that's what I love about it!! thank you so much my friend!!

    Karen, this video is so helpful! I-love working with tissue paper and modeling paste. I think I have been too worried about a few tears in the tissue or napkins!

    • @KerenTamir
      @KerenTamir  6 лет назад +1

      yes don't worry if it tears. first it adds texture and secondly you can cover it up with gesso and spray or paint, like I did here!! just keep on experimenting and trying new things!!

    What about varnish or a fixative spray? I subbed to you a long time ago and today was the first time I got a notification! Thank God been binge watching for several hours. Love you and thx!!

    • @KerenTamir
      @KerenTamir  2 года назад

      thanks Patricia, yes a fixative spray would work. If you want to get notifications every time I post a new video, hit the bell button beside the subscribe button on my channel. and now that you binge watched, youtube knows you like my videos and it will surface them more even the old ones like this one. But if you want to be notified of the new ones, hit that bell. Believe it or not, being subscribed its not enough, that goes for any channel you want to watch
