Seeking God and responding to Him is the essence of the Christian life. The church that does this will always being moving forward, leaving behind things that get in the way.
Amen! Come Lord Jesus. May You be glorified in the Earth by the living witness of Your people. You are All. You are Everything. May my life reflect that at all times.
"You are the Christ, the Son of the living God!" I want this revelation to burn in me and in His Church, so that every aspect of our lives looks like we have received this revelation, and our lives are completely His.
May the church never lose her awe of God ... may we not settle for the lesser things when we can have this constant revelation that Christ is Among Us!
Thank you Lord that you long to show us how to truly follow you! It is the most appropriate response to give ourselves entirely to Him when He has shown us how wonderfully good He is!
Amen! To follow Jesus is to live a life led by ongoing and more profound revelation. Where it looks like (because you are) caring about the very presence of Jesus.
“What kind of Church fits Jesus?” Such a worthy question. Are we following the voice of the Lord and living a life that manifests His truth and reality or just fitting it in to what works best for us? Our life should “be the gospel itself”.
"When Abraham heard the voice of God, he left everything to move in the direction of the sound of His voice." That is how well we need to know God: His voice gets our attention and allegiance, regardless of where the Voice may take us. It is that kind of Communion that the Church needs if indeed it is going to represent Christ, and His Church.

Evangelism is something we are!!! Our lives are the living witness of the Lord.
