Thanks for the no nonsense demonstration and the recipe! I have a few young families with several small children that I plan on making my own hot chocolate mix and homemade marshmallows as a small Christmas gift this year and I will use your demonstration and recipe to do so as I have never made marshmallows before.
@@donnastormer9652 I have never tried that but if you put the marshmallow in the piping bag while it’s warm it should pipe out easily enough. I’m not sure once it’s on the tray how it will hold up and whether it will spread or not. Let me know if you try it.
I have never tried agave in place of corn syrup. I know that corn syrup is not the healthiest ingredient but the only time I use it is a couple times a year making these marshmallows, or possibly a pecan pie. So unless you’re allergic to it I would probably use the corn syrup. But if you try agave, let me know how it turns out please.❣️
I would have never thought making marshmallows would be so easy! They make a beautiful gift that I think most would consider a very special treat.
Really want to drop these on mugs of hot Cocoa! Yum!
Can’t wait to make these! The ones you made that you gave us were amazing!
Thanks Shelley! I love making marshmallows….it’s fun!
Looks delicious.
I will say, these are delicious, thank you

I’m so glad you enjoyed the video. 😊 I love your idea for Christmas gifts and may just do that myself! Thanks for taking time to comment.
@@pamelasfavoriterecipes7998 is your recipe thin enough to put in icing bags to squeeze out in long lines to cut?

Hi Pamela- would agave be okay to replace the corn syrup?

Try doing equal parts powdered sugar and corn starch….less sweet for the coating!💗
