To be honest Yolanda is simply disciplining her. Nothing comes easy and in every work related situation we must be discipline towards achieving our goals. Yolanda is simply guiding her and that's a parent job to do so. Modelling is a job and if u don't fit the ideals then u lose. Just like any other job will be hired based on your portfolio.
My mother taught me and my sister to never eat more than our brothers and believe me growing up and practicing healthy eating habits has paid off cause I never worry about gaining weight and I'm a healthy 38yr old.

I was always pretty chubby, and as a kid. Everytime I would start to eat something I would always hear something from my parents. Well now that's I'm 21 and lost the weight, there are times I just don't eat. To the point that if I walk for long periods of time I get dizzy and feel like I'm going to pass out. It's getting better, but yeah my parents thanks for all that "encouragement"

Cake isn't a good food. It is a food full of sugar and refined carbs. If you look at pictures of people in the 70's they are slim. While we had treats, eating at Mcdonalds was a once a month treat, if that. Sugar is hidden in so many foods today and that is why we are heavier and have more diabetes.

Bella had to give up horse riding due to Lyme disease, which she still is in treatment for (along with her brother and mother). She was not forced to give up horse back riding. The illness did it.

My parents were like this growing up and I ended up with an eating disorder. I'm normal weight now, but it sucked being criticized all the time. It feels like being loved only if you look a certain way. Not cool.
Same, but not about eating. One example of what I went through: We were going on a trip. Everyone else had their car windows down. I went to roll mine down, and mother figure said, "No! Put the window back up, you're going to get wrinkles." I was 6.

First of all, being skinny and not having fat on you = not the same thing. And of course you can have a thin body type and still be healthy. I'm also not saying that all models lose/don't have their period. What I was trying to allude to, is that some of the most common causes for losing your period are losing a lot of weight and over-exercising!! That is why it is a relatively well known phenomenon in the fashion industry. Most of the girls being scouted are already thin, but are pressured into losing more weight (often fast as well) and working out really hard every day. This causes a lot of them to stop menstruating. And it can cause real long term issues if that happens. One of my friends, she isn't naturally super skinny, but she got scouted at age 14 and lost her period due to the fact that she was forced into losing weight and hardcore exercising. It took her 4 years to get it back, but she's thankful that she got it back at all! Some women can get infertile because of it.
My point in general is that this culture in the fashion industry of hardcore dieting, losing weight and working out can make these girls' bodies stop working as they should and might make them unable to have children in the future. And that is supposed to be the ideal that we as women should strive for! That in itself is extremely worrying to me.

Eating a diet high in micronutrients and low in macronutrient to avoid storage of fat and excess muscle is ok as long as thr diet is consistent, micronutrient needs are met, there is no vomitting or laxative abuse, minimal excercise purging, they arenot sickly and that weight can be maintained for an extended period( no yoyoing)
