The City of Angels serves up a slice of heaven when Bravo Media’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills returns for Season 9. Erika Girardi, Dorit Kemsley, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, and Lisa Vanderpump are joined by new housewife Denise Richards and friend Camille Grammer for a jaw-dropping season sprinkled with exhilarating highs and shocking lows. The epitome of a working mom-perfectly blending her carefree California attitude with the glamour of a Hollywood actress-newcomer Denise uses her very direct demeanor to carve out a place amongst the opinionated group, which she finds is both a blessing and a curse.
This season, the stakes are higher than ever for each of the ladies, and while there is no shortage of laughs, they are forced to navigate a string of confrontations that could change the dynamic of the friend group forever. I don't see how she was ignored? After they showed gigi's beginning in modeling, they showed how bella started too. They're gonna show gigi more cause she started first and had more modeling going on at the time.

I love how Yolanda keeps saying they’re very competitive and frames it like they’re always fighting to top the other when in reality they have always been and still are so close and so very supportive of each other, always trying to help the other and give advice. I’m glad they had each other, especially Bella having Gigi must have been very essential as their mom only doted on Gigi. Till this day they adore each other and are collaborative(lift each other up) despite whatever competition their mom tried to create between them.

i just feel the genuine concern kris has for kendall. she mentions kendall’s weight and her concerns mainly when she’s around her. kris is aware of the dangers super models are under and she doesn’t want kendall to develop an eating disorder bc of her career. she said it herself actually in one of the most recent seasons along with other concerns! there are *scripted* moments as well as raw unscripted moments!

I think the reason why Yolanda favours Gigi so much is because she sees herself in Gigi the most. She's strict bcs she's been through the harsh modelling reality and wanted to teach her kids how the modelling agency is. It's toxic especially the ridiculous standards but that's the reality she lived through her experience in the modeling world. Now, they're both thriving but the modelling industry is still the same.
I mean, Gigi is one of the worlds most recognizable models. Yolanda helped a lot with that.

Yolanda is not a horrible person guys. She just wanted to give her children some tough love and teach them the realities of the world and the modeling world in particular so they wouldn’t have to pass through the same tough spots that she passed through
They’re such sweet children. I can tell they surround themselves with lovely friends and support systems. Besides Yolanda causing them to have eating disorders, it seems they love their parents and they have good values.

If you truly believe Gigi and Bella eat as much as they like to lead the public to believe, then let me be the one to tell you: it isn't true.
According to the measurements I found online, her height is 5'10 and weight is 121 (which, by the way, may be inflated), giving her an underweight BMI of 17.4. Her TDEE should be around 2000 if she is active, which she almost certainly is given her occupation.
So while she may have the calorie buffer to eat healthy tacos or small burgers every once in a while, she certainly is not eating as much or as often as I think both Hadid girls like to imply on social media.
Don't be fooled: all models have to be very conscious of what they eat in order to maintain their thin frames.

There is no such thing as "naturally fat" or "naturally skinny." It always comes down to calories in-calories out. That is simple thermodynamics. Model thin women have to either eat very very little or a slightly higher amount while maintaining a high level of exercise in order to stay an underweight size.

It is *not possible* to eat above your total daily energy expenditure and not gain weight. If your friend eats like a horse, it's because she is burning excess energy elsewhere to lose those calories and remain at her current weight.

Volleyball and any sport requires you to have muscle and build an athletic frame which looks masculine on the runway. Gigi herself has even admitted she had to reshape her body to fit in the runway modeling world.

You may like that look, but that look can not survive modelling world. My brother is a professional pianist, he loves soccer, he cannot play for fear of injuries. He doesn't shake people's hands. Because there have been incidents where their hands are crushed on purpose. So if you want to be professional in anything and especially global level, something or many things gotta give.
The mom's framing pushes them into narratives of 'feminine' and 'masculine' and that's pretty toxic and constraining.
