Alecia Keys went makeup free a few years before this but I’m still so grateful to see more and more examples of women choosing to be authentically beautiful
@@harperwiccan475 Yikes...it appears you are the only one so far on this particular comment thread to make a comment about race/skin color. You edited your response and that's still where you landed.
@@jillianwebb8725 YIKES! you're an id.i0t. charlie there made a comment FIRST about how Alicia keys didn't get the recognition for not wearing makeup, basically saying that it's unfair that Pam got the recognition but Alicia didn't. I said to myself, why would that matter? Oh, must be because they're different skin colors cuz why would someone make a comparison of when someone else did it first.
Do whatever makes you happy. My dear, sweet mother never went a day without her red lipstick, and she wore it proudly until the day she died at the age of 81! That was 11 years ago. I’m 63 and I’ve worn red lipstick pretty much every day since, in her honor! It makes me happy!
My 80 year old mother N Law (my second momma) was the same way.. always had to have her hair just right (she was still dying her hair blond as well) and some makeup, with her favorite lipstick. We lost her suddenly a couple years ago after she had a fall. I made sure the funeral home had her done up just the way she liked it, and Placed her favorite lipstick in her coffin before they closed it... I'm sure she was gonna want that later. lol.
That’s so sweet. My grandmother still wears lipstick on special occasions. Everyone should do whatever they want to do, and most importantly, they should do it for themselves. All women deserve to feel comfortable in their skin without the judgement of others. Make up or no make up, whatever you feel like, it’s all good 🥰
Yeah, it's so natural desire to put a piece of petroleum product on your lips. Your mother probably did not feel herself beautiful without the lipstick. That's really sad.
Meeting idols can stir up a whirlwind of emotions, often unleashing the 'fan frenzy' in people, with endless demands for photos and signatures, which can be overwhelming for anyone. I've had the privilege of privately meeting numerous celebrities and public figures through Radiant Reservation. I’ve always approached these encounters with calmness and genuine friendliness, as if reconnecting with an old friend. This approach has consistently led to exceptional and memorable interactions.
A friend of mine had the incredible opportunity to work alongside Jennifer Lopez and Richard Gere in the movie, Shall We Dance. So instead of requesting autographs and reciting lines from Pretty Woman, they talked about football with Richard Gere .So they weren't freaking out to meet another celebrity
Wow, I never imagined Radiant Reservation mentioned here! I met my favorite movie star, Keanu Reeves, through them such a surreal and unforgettable experience.
Through Radiant Reservation, I had the chance to interact with Keanu Reeves in a private setting, his warmth and humility weren’t just remarkable-they were profound, leaving an impression on my soul far deeper than I could have ever dreamed.
Absolutely agree! Private, well-organized encounters create the perfect space for forging meaningful connections with public figures, transforming the experience into something truly impactful and memorable."
Exactly! I use to model and wore tons of makeup for work. In my 40's I stopped wearing makeup because it felt like work to me. I like how my face feels without the weight of makeup. People I knew would ask me if I was OK or if I was "ready " when they saw me without makeup. Finally one day I pointed to all of the men standing around me and said "none of them have makeup on. Why isn't anyone asking them if they are OK feeling?" That was that.
@@LoganGraceHope wearing makeup is work. I never understood how my mom and my sister could go through it everyday lol 😂 I love being a male. (Who doesn't wear makeup) have to say that in 2024 ahhaha
Fixing my face is getting more and more like labor, too! 🤣One day, I forgot to fix my face before school, and my students kept asking me if I felt okay, that I looked ill! Out of the mouths of babes, (or awkward middle schoolers!)!
@@thewiseguy3529 🤣 I agree! It's like time wasted! In HS my sister would get up around 3am occupying the only whole bathroom, to get ready for school. Her hair & make-up is/was perfect! When I got up to take a shower, she wouldn't budge to give me any privacy!🙄
@@Reader24987 Fixing your face should be something creative and fun that makes you feel good. If it feels like work, don't do it. If you stopped wearing it more regularly, I swear your students wouldn't ask about it anymore. People will really only react when you stop wearing makeup, if you've always worn it around them. 'Cause when you suddenly stop, it just throws them off since they've literally never seen what your face looks like without it (sometimes they just know that you look different and may not even know why)! Also, I swear your skin has to kinda get used to not having makeup on too. 'Cause, at first, you might look a little bit pale, which is why people will ask if you're sick. If you really wanna stop wearing makeup, just gradually start cutting out makeup steps and people will be much less likely to make any comment about it 'cause it won't be this sudden change in your appearance that seems to come out of nowhere. I have always vacillated between extreme poles of heavy and very light makeup looks so, people have never commented on the days that I'm only wearing mascara and lip balm 'cause me not having a full face is not something anyone flags as particularly weird. I, actually, tried cutting out my foundation for a month and just wore an illuminating moisturizer with some setting powder on top ('cause my skin is very oily) and, literally, no one said a word to me about it.
This is how it should be. Existing without feeling judged or told you look tired. And the best thing about makeup is that you can make a statement by not wearing it all the time, but also doing it up fun when you feel like expressing your artistic side.
@@antiquezombie9933It’s sad we’re so accustomed to women with makeup that when we see a normal makeupless face there’s the assumption they’re sick. We don’t say the same thing about men though. I hope more women embrace their bare face so we get to see on daily basis what women really look like and what is normal.
i would never normally gravitate to this content, but i am huge fan of this movement. Not an end to makeup, just a deemphasis on its necessity. It would be great to see makeup becoming more like something for rare occasions or style that mandatory crutch.
makeup just covers up real beauty. And cameras really distort people. With or without make up. So beauty is your real self and people who love your real self are the people we need to be with.
Yes! You said it perfectly. I like to wear makeup sometimes on special occasions or if I'm just feeling like it. But not all day every day- that's toooo much!!
It doesn't need to be for "rare occasions". It should be an option. Some people like to wear makeup every day and other don't like it to wear it all. Both are valid.
@@themaggattack That's your decision. For some people wearing makeup every day might be "too much" and for others it might be great. We should respect both decisions.

You don't understand my point, she's acting like she stopped wearing makeup to embrace her natural beauty which is half true. Until she resolved all her skin issues and made her skin to the way it looks now, she didn't stop wearing
Shhhh...don't tell everyone! (Joking) Ive been microneedling for almost 10 years - most guess I'm @ 15 YEARS younger than my birth certificate says. I DO it myself at home, quote aggressively in places, and lightly in others,,maybe 1x month. I am 63
+1 for kora. I started doing microneedIIing since it started 12 or so years ago. Nobody believe I am 55. They all say I am in my late 30's or early 40's. I assume it works so well because when we get older, our skin gets thinner therefore creating wrinkIes. But the wounding kept my skin still thick and youthful. Still wearing makeup though haha
I love, love, love how Pamela Anderson has transformed her life and taken a major step up to drop the make-up. As a woman who has dropped the dying of hair and turned to grey, just this step alone has been a major step for myself and so many women who are embracing their natural beauty. I'm likely not going to drop the make-up completely, but it has toned down over the years. I love Pamela's confidence, enthusiasm, and conviction. You ROCK Pamela!
The media has been carrying on for nearly a year, making her a national hero for having the "courage" to not wear makeup. Do you realize how ridiculous this is? They're carrying on like this is something serious... like she cured all the worlds ill and conflicts. It's embarrassing. Focus on some of the brilliant women in the world who actually do something worthy of praise.
@@summrflowers7253 For a lot of women, leaving the house requires make-up, and they won't go if they don't feel comfortable about it! I feel naked w/o mascara or earrings! lol🤭🤫😅
@@Reader24987I have not worn any foundation more than five times in 10 years at least, however going without mascara and something to make it look like I actually have eyebrows is something I probably won’t give up. If my eyelashes or eyebrows actually had any color at all, then I’d ditch using that make up as well. I have never used a lot of makeup and at home I don’t use any and just hope nobody comes to my door, that could be frightening for them!
I’m 53 years. Never wore makeup. I wash my face, put on moisturizer and go. I let my natural salt and pepper (mostly salt) hair grow as is. I just never desired to spend extra time in the morning putting on makeup. I do love people who are great at applying makeup. The artistry and effort they put into obtaining their desired look is great. Although I could certainly benefit from using makeup, I just don’t have the energy to make that one of my daily tasks. But I also realize that this is therapy for many women and it helps them to feel even better about themselves. So I say do what makes you feel good!!!
Same! I was able to buy a bigger house because of all the money I save from no makeup/hair treatments/nail treatments. As long as one uses good-quality cleansers and moisturizers, that's all you need!
This is something I still struggle with in my 40s. In my case, it was my own mother who told me I should never let anyone see me without makeup when I was a young teen. It was my prom date who encouraged me to go bare-faced for the first time since I was 13. When my mother saw me, she publicly shamed me & called me weak for “allowing a man to change” me. I told her it was freeing and she told me I looked ugly. I didn’t stop being called ugly until I started avoiding my family & the people I grew up with. I even modeled briefly in my late teens but I couldn’t handle being looked at and judged any more than I already was by my family. I’m not sure I’ll ever feel attractive, as there are decades of trauma related to my body. I learned long ago to focus on true beauty, which has always been internal. I’m disabled now and while life is full of pain & illness, it did free up some mental space for me to accept this vessel in whatever form it takes. Going bare…maybe one day it won’t feel like I’m absolutely naked.
Pamela has no make up but surgery or botox or fillers at least... Everything today is like a trend😢 which I don't agree with... We can do what we feel like! Make up or no make up... I go for make up... or at least my lipstick if I don't go for the full thing... or no make up for example if I go to the supermarket many times... it's relative! If I am working, I like to have make up on... or if I go to dinner etc... People be free to be as You like!😊❤
Natural beauty? I can't believe I'm reading this. She gets just as much work done as Madonna, just more subtly. The woman hasn't got a single wrinkle ffs! I'm 39 and have far more wrinkles and sagging than her. Makeup isn't what causes unrealistic beauty standards! It's the surgery, laser treatments, botox, fillers and filters on pictures, etc. - all of which Anderson embraces. No make up is a marketing tool to make older women who can't afford those treatments feel even more shit about themselves. Makeup is the one affordable and risk free way of making the best of yourself. It certainly cheers me up to apply a bit of mascara and lippy for a night out. Now we have the rich look upon makeup use with disdain... either you're a 'natural' beauty or you're not....well there is nothing natural about any of the women in the public eye who experience no wrinkles and no sagging after the age of 40....THAT is what's unnatural. I'll embrace the first woman in Hollywood to embrace natural aging and talk about how looking her age has affected her career - perhaps then things might begin to change. She'll be my heroine, not a woman who's had countless facelifts, so much filler and botox she can barely move her face, and then just because she puts down the lippy has the audacity to tell young impressionable women she's all natural! No makeup is a marketing tool and appears to have worked. Ironically, I believe Anderson was more authentic when she embraced her Dolly Parton look.
I don’t mean to be an a-hole but I’m saying this for all the beautiful women who are watching this video wondering why they don’t look like these women; the women on the video may not have makeup on but they have had SO much work done on their faces and skin. If you are their age and don’t look like them in pictures, you’re still absolutely beautiful and AMAZING ❤️
And perfect lighting. Some may also still get fillers or botox and take Ozempic. There is nothing wrong with that at all, but it can be a bit misleading to say it's your natural self. Pam does seem happier, so this is what's right for her.
I am so inspired by Pamela Anderson. I remember watching the Vogue video where she went makeup free during fashion week. Women are naturally beautiful. Men don’t have to wear it, we don’t have to either.
In the 1920's, women in the western world started wearing makeup to empower themselves and express their independence. Makeup was considered taboo prior to the 1920's. Now society has done a 180 and says makeup-free should be empowering for women, after how long it took to normalize wearing makeup? Give me a break!
Mad respect. Pam is actively working to undo the 'cartoon' character of a woman that she played due to her own insecurities, that the industry then took and created incredibly unrealistic standards of beauty for so long. Good for her! And good for all of us for not being tricked into the Hollywood illusion. Our imperfections are what makes us beautiful and we definitely don't need make up (though I do love a red lip for special occasions). They admit to hiding behind it. WE are (already) free! Woohoo! 🌹
I went makeup free in 2015 when it hit me that men don't put on makeup to leave the house for work, or groceries, our movie night with friends. Why do we have to? That day I stopped.....my skin radiates health now! Love that these women are doing it in public and talking about it. I wish those of us who are also doing it could have a larger impact, but we will leave it to these lovely women who have the public's attention to spread this joy!
Yesss your skin can breathe!! I noticed my skin got healthier and clearer when I wasn't wearing foundation during lockdown. It's a lot of work and hassle to take off.
That’s because men are less susceptible to excessive consumerism. Men have said for years that women should leave the make up alone. Women didn’t listen.
@@allegrap1054 AHT, AHT‼️👊🏾 Wrong answer. Makeup, wigs AND high heels were invented, endorsed and worn by MEN first. Exactly this! I'm only 24. My waking moment was seeing how the trends go one way and all the women and girls look the same, showing it's not about "expressing myself" but painting a different "beauty standard" face instead of making your features stand out more. My skin is so much better since then and I literally look prettier than when I had a clean face in my makeup era, my eyelashes stopped falling out so much and are much longer too. I spend my time and money on skin care and massages now to relax, take care of myself, rather than hide myself behind a painted face.
They are brave, for sure. Beautiful strong women!! Just be yourself! I’m 51 and most days I don’t wear makeup. The beauty of aging is you become comfortable with yourself. And other people’s opinions and thoughts matter less and less. Do what makes you happy! Be you!❤️❤️

It takes courage and vulnerabiity to present onesself naturally like this. I greatly admire these inner qualites as most don't have them. It can take decades to be this free in ones mind. And in turn, the "other" beauty shines through if one wants to take off the blindfold that society wants us to keep on. Can you imagine how the beauty industy would react if more and more women quit the masking? We all remember how she looked when she was the "babe". And we all know how it almost destroyed her. And now, it's like she has been living on this spectrum of showing us all how it can be done, she is a wonderful and brave teacher showing us how she found her peace. I started wearing minimal makeup at the age of 65 and like how I see a different version of my self looking at me in the mirror, it's fun. But I don't let it pull me too far in either direction because fact is, I will continue to look older and luckily have learned to love myself and the normal changes that accompany that. Pamela Anderson, good for you, you are to be admired!

Same!! I think this naturally occurred with us stuck at home around 2020. You'll notice your skin and lashes look better without the chemicals too. I still enjoy lipsticks/stains and tinted moisturizer. All the eye make up, foundation, hair products, and mascara is lots of work.

Yeah..been there done that. My makeup routine takes about five minutes now. Mainly eyeliner and mascara. I'm 65 and widowed . And a cancer surviver . I Could care less what anyone thinks about my looks.
It’s inspiring to see so many women embracing their natural beauty. I made the switch to a makeup-free routine about six years ago, and it felt like a huge relief. It really is freeing not to feel like I have to put on makeup every day. Plus, I love being able to sleep in a bit longer!
Pamela's description of how she came to this approach with her make-up was wonderful. It was so personal. It's really about what makes you happy, knowing that it's okay to be yourself.
I love that they are doing this. For me, I choose to use make up FOR MYSELF. It doesn't take three hours. I don't use eyelashes because I'm lucky I have long lashes. I just prefer them with SOME mascara. I can be ready in 15 - 30 minutes. So each person should feel comfortable doing what they like and not feel pressure in the opposite direction to be free of any "costuming" they choose.
I love this. I haven’t bothered with makeup for years. She’s beautiful and I love the message she’s spreading.. just be yourself. Everyone else is taken..
I guess it's a bigger deal for famous women. But yeh, I've known plenty of women who have never worn makeup and nobody cares! (in a good way) What are their values? What is their personality like? Are they a decent person? That's what matters. I wear makeup, but I've never thought or said that women should wear makeup. Just like they don't have to dye their hair pink (but they can if they want!)
She is so inspiring. I never in a million years thought she was this down to earth. Really enjoyed her Netflix doc. Loved how in the doc she made her own perfume/ essential oil blend from flowers in her garden & journaled everyday. She was a total homebody & I really resonated with that. She eats healthy & is at peace with herself & I really admire that about her. This is fantastic! I could never wear makeup due to my sensitive skin and eyes. Whenever I tried wearing makeup, I found that eyeliner would make my eyes sting, lipstick would take away my natural lip color, and foundation would clog my pores, giving me acne outbreaks. Make up is fun, creative and beautiful when done well. it accentuates the eyes. You feel good afterwards. When I go out to dinner, I like to put on makeup and high heels on .
Nobody says "bad things" about makeup! Just don't call women like these "brave!" And don't call yourselves "confident" and "empowered" when you can't even go out without makeup! @@nightskylights4501 I'm without make-up most of the time. I also mentioned it. I am self-confident enough with or without make-up. So your comment is pointless. What does a little make-up have to do with having no self-confidence ? lol. it's fun and creative. It's self-love and care for yourself! We are women and not men. Those who don't have their breasts enlarged to double size like Pam did, are self-confident! I don't buy this: I'm all natural now (otherwise she wouldn't dye her hair) from her , sorry. Then please be very consistent. Remove the silicone breasts and go with grey hair. this whole theater it's only an excuse to be relevant again. Wait in a few years. She changes again. Like she always did. Apart from the fact that a little eye make-up wouldn't hurt her. ;-)
I have five dogs and spend most of my time outdoors with them as well. I feel so healthy and good about this. I would rather have a healthy glow from being outdoors than makeup any day!
True. I mean we could all just walk around and sweatpants with our hair in a bun all day... I have noticed some of the people around me used to wear makeup quit doing makeup and basically grooming when they retired. Not always brave, could also be lazy
She may be makeup free, and her skin looks great. That didn't come naturally but with the help of expensive skin care products, cosmetic procedures, fillers, lasers etc.
She might use expensive skin care products and lasers but she doesn't look like she's using any fillers nor obviously had a facelift ... thank God. If she is, hats off, because I can't tell and I find looking at women who look as if they've got fillers awful. I think they look like gargoyles and I just don't understand why they do it.
I do think she’s had a facelift-a very good one and some Botox. No one our age has a snatched neckline like hers without some surgical intervention. She’s beautiful and not to take anything away from her. She’s an inspiration and I admire both her beauty and growth!
I have never worn makeup in my 65 years on this planet. My philosophy has always been, "If I am too ugly without makeup, just don't look at me". I do not say what others should do, I just never felt the need for makeup or hair dye. I actually like my white hair and I have healthy skin. People always tell me I look younger than I am.
I've never wear make up (I'm 30) and sometimes i feel bad about it.But this makes realize that the most important thing is to feel like yourself. I'm happy that she found purpose and self-esteem in doing that.
Same. I'm 32 and never wear makeup (except on special occasions and my cousin would insist on doing it for me). I don't even know how even if I wanted to. It's just not for me because I get too uncomfortable with it on. And yeah, I feel like myself more without it.
Yes, she is letting her true self shine through. She is very kind and intelligent. As she said, the characters she created were just personas for the public because that’s what sells. She was only getting roles that showcased her physical self, but not her intellectual self. Now that she’s older and more mature, and probably doesn’t need to work as much anymore, she can afford to be more authentic.
This was a great short clip of the interview/show. I like that Drew said I “think” that you’re the pioneer…which we all know that Alicia Keys and many other ladies before have rebelled/decided to just be makeup FREE. I would love to see Pamela even go farther with this movement/new look with going to her natural hair color and then that’s when she can truly be FREE and relay that to many many people out there. Ohhhhh and I LOVE how Drew took her hair extensions off right on camera too. THANKS for posting.
@kimschannel5567 I don't really believe that her transformation has a lot do with finances, but rather the business she was in. Being pressured to look a certain way. I'm 40 now. I wish I had more courage to be who I was when I was younger. We live, we learn, we grow.
Just pointing out that there's a LOT of room between zero makeup and the pound/clown look; it need not be all or nothing. Do whatever makes you happy and let others do the same without criticism.
I seen a story recently where a woman was denied a job not based on her qualifications but because she was not wearing makeup in her interview. The interviewer said she didn't put enough effort into her appearance. I personally would not want to work for that company
I simply LOVE Pamela Anderson as she TRULY is!! She’s right she WAS like a cartoon character before🤷🏻♀️ in fact l never could relate to her, she was lost, and now she is found🙏 Much more beautiful!! She’s free and REAL😍
@@freehugs8670 And she’s older now and in Hollywoods term… a has been. So, although I think she’s naturally beautiful… I think women who finally decide to do this, are around the same age as me. I’m 58… and I’ve reached that age that I’m not trying to impress anyone and I don’t care what others think about how I look or what I’m wearing.
I think she truly has embraced her path as a delicate but infinitely resilient radiant woman. She was crafted into a sex doll by others (virtually all men) who made money from her and ex partners who's status in the eyes of other men was elevated by that cartoon of her. She never actually had space to discover or find herself. She's truly lovely and not because of how she looks with or without make up. What she's discovered was that the type of makeup she wore was part of the character others wanted her to be, like poor Marilyn Monroe and so many other women. ❤❤

Oh please, courage is putting your life online to save others, not wearing makeup is NOT having courage!!! And it's sad that you have to wait until some celebrity to do something that millions, including me, have been doing for years, do to get inspired!!!
I agree that when you’re that scrutinized, it must be kinda hard to dare get out bare faced. That being said, I wonder if all this wasn’t just marketing for her skin care line…
@@nightskylights4501 you have completely missed my point. Pamela has been objectified for decades, being the sex symbol of the 90s. Her entire identity has evolved around being beautiful and sexy. Good on you ladies. I’m a 62 year old widower and I’ve always wondered why women spent so much time putting on makeup. My late wife did, but just the very basic foundation(?) because after years I convinced her that she was beautiful without makeup, and she was.
Stick to what you know. Is personal preference of a woman wear makeup. Not for somebody to tell them how to feel at what they feel that you should be looking like with or without it.
@@evas1968 He "knows" what he considers beautiful; and, he told his Wife that she was beautiful without make-up. ... That's literally, what Drew and Valerie were saying to Pamela. He did Not tell his wife "how to feel". Damn! Some people will make an issue out of nearly ANYTHING.
You've "always wondered why"?😫My gosh, surely you cannot be unaware of how the media and culture around us browbeats women into believing that they cannot possibly be attractive without makeup. It is legitimately a kind of brainwashing, fueled by power dynamics and greed.
I applaud her for doing what makes her feel her best. She looks great! That said, seeing a lot of judgment of women in the comments who feel happy or more comfortable wearing makeup. I'm one of those women. As women we should support each other's choices in whatever it is that makes us feel our best. It doesn't have to be one or the other. Do what makes you happy. At 55 I've never used really expensive skincare, fillers, botox or plastic surgery but, I fully support others that do because it makes them feel better. How is that any different than applying a little makeup? They both alter your appearance.
Very beautifully put❤. I feel this for women whether makeup/no make up and traditional/conservative. Stay at home/work women too. Support what is best for others. Empower and nor judge.
I agree that those who want to wear makeup should feel free to make that choice, without judgement. For me though, I’ve become quite annoyed that women are “expected” to wear makeup to “look professional”, while men are not.Yet ANOTHER double standard! (capitals are for emphasis, I’m not yelling at you)
I don't think it's so much about stop wearing make up all together that may be for Pam what she wants to do. But, allowing women the space to freely either wear no make up or have a full face of make up and not have someone critique it every two seconds I think that's the main thing of loving the beauty that you're in..
I think it is so sweet to see a woman in her sweetness and innocence. I am a fan of this being a new walk. There's an element of innocence in the choice for a woman to not wear makeup. Pamela and all the ladies unmake-up'd are very approachable and let us see a kindness within them.
Innocence, is it? I can tell you, a woman without makeup isn't less innocent than a woman with makeup. I grew up in surroundings where women hardly ever wear makeup. They're just the same, maybe a little more relaxed.
That whole panel are all such amazing and beautiful women! Pamela's Smile is the FIRST thing we all see, that big, beautiful smile! Who cares what framework it's set into, it's HER smile and she's a beautiful person inside and out! (Same for Drew an Valerie as well - all three just beautiful!) TBH: I really have come to appreciate Pamela more as she's grown into her own skin, and now finally feeling comfortable in that skin - what a beautiful transformation! She's not the "blond bimbo" from Bay Watch, she's grown, thrown away the need to appease others or hide behind a façade. I'm so happy for her! Drew and Valerie also! She is really insightful. It was a pleasure to hear and see this side of Pamela Anderson. I think she is at her most attractive just like this without any makeup to stand between her and her natural glow. Lovely
I made a conscious decision to ditch make up when I went away to college at 20. Nobody there knew me, so I wouldn't have to deal with the, "Are you feeling OK?" questions from people who were accustomed to seeing me all dolled up everyday. Ever since, make up has been like playing dress up for special occasions only (like being a friend's bridesmaid). More than anything, I loved getting away from the feeling that I NEEDED it to feel OK in my own skin.

Watching Drew and Pamela talking on the couch without make up is for me an incredibly relatable experience. I almosy never wear make up and I hate foundation, it just doesn't feel right on my skin. I think Pamela is stunning and beautiful inside and out! Her natural beauty speaks for itself. Anyone who takes issue with her covering it up is clearly uncomfortable with their own aging process and mortality. We need more examples of women leaning into natural beauty.
No doubt Pamela is a beautiful woman, however, let's not claim we are natural when we still have acrylic painted nails, teeth whitened, fillers, botox, and hair dye....

Me neither. The title of course told me but had I crossed paths with her in the store or out somewhere, I would have thought she was just a regular gal, not Pamala Anderson. Even the way she dressed was a totally different style than she had before. I loved it.

I ditched make-up
I was ageing and couldn't hide change.
Every face holds a story.
Pamela has a natural beauty
It’s not about hiding your aging. Or wearing too much make up.
People be free to be as You like!😊❤
We can't stop aging through the natural course of time but eat well, sleep well, exercise, love and laugh and you'll be forever young ❤️
Without make up yes , but not natural at all
Natural beauty?
Exactly!
Exactly. Those women live in the public eye and must get something done .
exactly what I was thinking too. thanks for saying it
And perfect lighting. Some may also still get fillers or botox and take Ozempic. There is nothing wrong with that at all, but it can be a bit misleading to say it's your natural self. Pam does seem happier, so this is what's right for her.
Yep, they’ve all had work done to have no wrinkles at their age.
I am so inspired by Pamela Anderson. I remember watching the Vogue video where she went makeup free during fashion week. Women are naturally beautiful. Men don’t have to wear it, we don’t have to either.
you are definitely beautiful, no argument.
In the 1920's, women in the western world started wearing makeup to empower themselves and express their independence. Makeup was considered taboo prior to the 1920's. Now society has done a 180 and says makeup-free should be empowering for women, after how long it took to normalize wearing makeup? Give me a break!
@@elainec5801 I think the empowerment lies in choosing what is right for you and what you want to do, not what the trend dictates.
@@jezziwig5134 That's a good way of putting it. I agree.
True!!!
Makeup is a mask and women are made to feel like they must wear it… it’s similar to a hijab in that women are expected to be covered up in public.
That’s because men are less susceptible to excessive consumerism. Men have said for years that women should leave the make up alone. Women didn’t listen.

AHT, AHT‼️👊🏾
Wrong answer. Makeup, wigs AND high heels were invented, endorsed and worn by MEN first. Only the nobles & genteel class were allowed to wear high heels when they were first worn. Men claim they don't care for makeup yet when they show you "natural pics" of women, those women are wearing MAKEUP too.... SOME of y'all are too obtuse to know the difference.😂💯
Some men actually do (not just gay men/drag queens etc) with at least concealer. But yes it isn't expected of them compared to women, true enough.
I too have been makeup free since my early 30s, good skin care is far more important. Way to go ladies.❤️❤️❤️
I agree❤
So true! It doesn’t have to be complicated either.
And they’re all still beautiful….no makeup required.❤
🧢
Lucky they’re rich so they can afford Botox that’s why they still look good at their age without makeup, there’s no wrinkles.
They are brave, for sure. I am vegan so I eat very healthy, exercise on a regular basis, drink lots of water, etc... and I hate to sound vain but at this age I could not go outside without having my face made up. I only use makeup for my pics and videos and on a regular day only use lipstick, blush and some eyeliner but still- I have to have something on my face. I envy them, haha.
@BruceLee-t9n Ok.. to each their own, though and in MY opinion they are brave to be on tv with a washed face. So agree to disagree.
@@irenemarano1663 That's true. Even though Pam is a lifelong vegan like me, age is age and they probably have done some cosmetic procedures.
I'm 60 and now wear very minimal makeup - it's very freeing, and I feel confident! Best part is it takes 60 seconds to apply - winning! 🤩
Beautiful strong women!! Just be yourself! I’m 51 and most days I don’t wear makeup. The beauty of aging is you become comfortable with yourself. And other people’s opinions and thoughts matter less and less. Do what makes you happy! Be you!❤️❤️

Why can't you feel happy and confident without makeup?
When you're young....rock it! I'm 58 and refuse to go to town without cleaning up....I hate seeing people in houseshoes and tshirt.
I am 35 and have been without makeup for 4 years now. I take less time to get ready, I have more time for more things, my skin feels better, and I have been told I look younger than I am. I'm happy to hear more woman are empowering themselves and embracing their natural beauty. 🥰
I should clarify that I do still paint my nails more often than not and I continue wearing lipstick on and off, however, if I forget to carry lipstick it is not a big deal. 💞
Hey, you gotta pamper yourself sometimes, right?
Same!! I think this naturally occurred with us stuck at home around 2020. You'll notice your skin and lashes look better without the chemicals too. I still enjoy lipsticks/stains and tinted moisturizer. All the eye make up, foundation, hair products, and mascara is lots of work.
Same dear ❤
I’m 42 and I only wore make up on my wedding day 12 yrs ago. I don’t even wear lipstick. I don’t like make up. I cleanse my face with natural cleansers and apply natural oils like castor oil.
There is me without any makeup kit
YES. This is perimenopause/menopause, ladies! Live the empowerment! Breathe in the self-confidence! I'm 54, naturally graying, wearing less makeup than I have in my whole life (brown mascara and tinted lip balm), and I am the happiest I've ever been. It's so freeing.

This is fantastic! I could never wear makeup due to my sensitive skin and eyes. I have never worn makeup in my 65 years on this planet. My philosophy has always been, "If I am too ugly without makeup, just don't look at me". Yes, she is letting her true self shine through. She is very kind and intelligent. As she said, the characters she created were just personas for the public because that’s what sells. They all have a story
Just pointing out that there's a LOT of room between zero makeup and the pound/clown look; it need not be all or nothing. Do whatever makes you happy and let others do the same without criticism.

@@runtothe_shadows Thanks!
I’m 70 and without a little color on my cheeks and lips, I’m all one blah color.
She’s free and REAL😍
she was like a sex doll to be precise and made ordinary women feel awful in their skin let's not forget that
@@freehugs8670
And she’s older now and in Hollywoods term… a has been.
❤❤
YES! Finally someone embracing being natural. I never makeup and it is freeing!
I have so much respect for Pamela. It takes so much courage and wisdom to do what she is doing. She has become a true inspiration.
@@nightskylights4501 Courage comes in many forms. It is not limited to one thing.
@@nightskylights4501 you have completely missed my point. Pamela has been objectified for decades, being the sex symbol of the 90s. Her entire identity has evolved around being beautiful and sexy. It takes courage to give up completely who you are and build yourself up again from nothing, to find a new core identity and a new way to establish your sense of self and self-esteem.
As for me, I'm a trained therapist and find inspiration in many things, creative and courageous people being one of them. Unlike you, it seems, I don't find being judgemental beneficial either to me or others.
I stopped wearing make up years ago. Stopped dying my hair too. I only dye my hair once a year if I am going to an event. Use to overdo it. And just realised I was created beautifully. All these products are just over priced and chemically induced. I use organic coconut oil and essential oils for my skin and that ages very well:) Well done Pamela and Drew...very inspiring content!!!
Good for her👍 Personally, I feel ugly without makeup and I enjoy the process of putting it on. 🤷🏾♀️❤️
me too 😂
Me three 😂
And good for you too. Live life, be happy.
I feel the same. I dont think I can do the makeup free look.
Same
I love my lipstick, a little makeup doesnt hurt!
Yes i agree makeup is fun whether its a full face of makeup or just maskara and lipstick if you don't like it don't wear it.
@@Eden_Monroe agreed!! I loved giving up foundation and eyeliner. But I still love lipstick, mascara, and tinted moisturizers.
We should do what makes us feel our best and do it for ourselves and no one else.

Why you guys protect urself? She never said anyrhing like girls dont wear make up lol. I like her statement. And this is not just about make up. She is a completly different Personality than her sexy Vamp Look is.
Pamela's article in Better Homes and Gardens is wonderful! She is back to her beautiful self! Lovely.
And I thought she was a superficial person. 😳 I love to be wrong. Way to go Pamela! Congratulations on your successful and inspiring journey! 👏👏👏❤️
Love it! Love it! 💙 💙 💙
I stopped wearing eyeliner, polishing my nails & curling my hair 30yos ago.
The freedom to not feel like I had to be attractive for men has brought thorough happiness!
Good for you. Perhaps you should provide some advice to Anderson on how she can stop getting surgery, botox, fillers and laser treatments? You know, actually embrace the aging process instead of deceiving the public into believing she's natural because she stopped wearing lipstick?

@@emmab2136-o3vI do my own Botox & filler, and I can tell you Pamela doesn't have any. If you notice under her eyes, her temples, there is natural signs of aging there. She looks beautiful regardless, but there is no filler.
Do you have a problem with that too? Particularly, since they're not Married to Pamela. The audience also showed approval of Pamela not wearing make-up - by applauding. Was that wrong?
He did Not tell his wife "how to feel".
Damn! Some people will make an issue out of nearly ANYTHING.
You've "always wondered why"?😫My gosh, surely you cannot be unaware of how the media and culture around us browbeats women into believing that they cannot possibly be attractive without makeup. It is legitimately a kind of brainwashing, fueled by power dynamics and greed.
Pamela Anderson is a natural pretty woman.
And so so beautiful with it
Pamela is beautiful she's been through a lot. So proud to see her growing and sharing her experiences with us.
Yes .. Pam and Valerie WOULD be an awesome dynamic duo for ANY cause.
My husband has had a crush on Valerie since he was a teen! I envied her hair!!!🤣😂
THIS!!! 👏 👏 👏
(capitals are for emphasis, I’m not yelling at you)
@@anitaknight3915I agree!❤
@heatherjay8802 I agree, that is a double standard.
Funny Drew owns a makeup brand. She certainly doesn't want us all to stop wearing makeup. 😂
I don't think it's so much about stop wearing make up all together that may be for Pam what she wants to do. But, allowing women the space to freely either wear no make up or have a full face of make up and not have someone critique it every two seconds I think that's the main thing of loving the beauty that you're in..
This “trend” is about selling skin care not women’s freedom or feminist activism. 😂

@@pegapage9603 'an element of innocence'
That whole panel are all such amazing and beautiful women!
Pamela's Smile is the FIRST thing we all see, that big, beautiful smile!
Who cares what framework it's set into, it's HER smile and she's a beautiful person inside and out!
(Same for Drew an Valerie as well - all three just beautiful!)
TBH: I really have come to appreciate Pamela more as she's grown into her own skin, and now finally feeling comfortable in that skin - what a beautiful transformation!
She's not the "blond bimbo" from Bay Watch, she's grown, thrown away the need to appease others or hide behind a façade. I'm so happy for her!
Drew and Valerie also! I've always adored them all and I cannot say how happy I am that they are embracing who they are. All three have been through so much, survived and thrived because and in spite of it all!
Shes not really blond😂

@@emmab2136-o3v Wrinkles and sagging skin are genetic. I'm 57 and don't have any wrinkles. I do, however have some sagging skin but not one wrinkle. Your having wrinkles at 39 points to genetics mostly.
Now let the gray free!

Well said!
lol yeah she’s probably gray as a mule😅
She is really insightful. It was a pleasure to hear and see this side of Pamela Anderson. I think she is at her most attractive just like this without any makeup to stand between her and her natural glow. Lovely
I made a conscious decision to ditch make up when I went away to college at 20. Nobody there knew me, so I wouldn't have to deal with the, "Are you feeling OK?" questions from people who were accustomed to seeing me all dolled up everyday. Ever since, make up has been like playing dress up for special occasions only (like being a friend's bridesmaid). More than anything, I loved getting away from the feeling that I NEEDED it to feel OK in my own skin.
its nice to see this, really!! Finally, Women are embracing their naturalness. Its soo beautiful to witness this. I mean I like seeing females in make up too and makeup should never be mandatory but serve as an option for special occasions
She looks sweeter and younger. I used to think she looked awful in all that makeup. Great for her❤
Yes!! As we age we do look younger with less/no make-up!
@@beckyfrechette4439definetely not as we age we look better in make up
Watching Drew and Pamela talking on the couch without make up is for me an incredibly relatable experience.
I almosy never wear make up and I hate foundation, it just doesn't feel right on my skin. A lot of friends don't wear it or rarely do. Even who wear them, are subtle about it: no counturing, fake lashes, huge amounts of products...
We go shopping, to work, to lunch, to grab a coffee... Looking like they do. And we don't even question it
I love that Pamela Anderson is embracing her natural visage. It doesn't look like she's had filler done, either, and her face looks all the more beautiful for it. We should celebrate all the season of our lives and not live in denial of the passage of time. There is beauty in EVERY woman in EVERY season of her life.
She looks so beautiful & natural
@@pip-jo2nv It's a personal point of view. I think she look "let go" like this and sorry, she is not beautiful. I prefer ladies who take care of themselves. It's good for self-esteem also. If you love yourself, you take care of yourself, it's very well known. Have a good day 🌞
And her skin is stunning.
Way to GO! I love this! All 3 of these ladies have always been badasses, much respect. Strength has an irreplaceable beauty of its own. That poor dog is like "wth is going onnnn, why are you pulling your hair out?"

Good for her….and she’s glowing from within, the best look for anyone
I have really nice gray hair but when I wear no makeup people ask if I am tired. I am fair, with blue eyes and light hair and need just a bit of something as contrast.
Yes we fair skinned gals tend to disappear without some color, and aging is all about losing color, from everywhere
Exactly
And a facelift
I absolutely love Valerie Bertanelli and Pamela Anderson! Beautiful, honest women- inside and out! Strong, brave women! I feel so amazing without makeup! You get to an age where you start to embrace YOU… what other people say or think doesn’t matter! Makeup is fun on occasion, but there’s nothing like using my favorite skincare oil and walking out the door! THANK YOU LADIES FOR BEING YOU!!! 💜
😮 I didn’t even know who she was without makeup up!
Me neither. The title of course told me but had I crossed paths with her in the store or out somewhere, I would have thought she was just a regular gal, not Pamala Anderson. Even the way she dressed was a totally different style than she had before. I loved it.
I absolutely love Pam Anderson and highly encourage everyone to watch the doc about her life. She is a G.
THIS is what the world needs. A truly courageous woman who refuses to turn herself into a "real housewife" frozen with botox and putting on make-up like a Kardashian!!! Go Pamela!!!

She is hardly natural. She's had plenty of PS in her day
