What he's saying about the "badass inmates" being respectful towards everybody is simply an example of how times have changed; people nowadays tend to think that being disrespectful is a sign of strength.
F W well said, very true! Still had respect.
F W While I do agree with you in regards to society, prison is a completely different atmosphere. 90 percent of inmates are just trying to do their time and get out on time without incident. I mean, things do happen but acting tough in there doesn't get you far unless you actually are tough. Even then, there's always someone bigger and badder than you. People also tend to stick to groups so pissing off one person may get you attacked by a whole group. On the street you can run and hide. In there, there's nowhere to run or hide except protective custody. Protective custody and the hole suck so not many people want to get in trouble or go to PC. In there everyone is almost forced to respect one another or suffer the consequences. It's kind of hard to explain to anyone who's never been in that situation. Hopefully you kind of get what I'm saying though.
I did a total of 2 1/2 years and got out the last time mid 2012 and haven't been in trouble since. Now I'm working on a project to help child abuse victims, people who suffer from anxiety and depression, and drug addicts as these are all things I've gone through and had to overcome. I'm now happier and more productive than I ever was. Jail was the best thing that ever happened to me. Sadly for many it's a revolving door and I'm hoping I can some day change that for some that are caught on the hamster wheel.
Please try not to judge society to harshly. There has been a lot of social engineering going on for the past 20 years or more and some of us are out here trying to push things back in the right direction. Having no hope for the future won't get anything done. There are two opposite forces working against each other and we need as many people as possible to try to push society back in the right direction.
i agree with ya on that a lot , the man he was talking ron simcox is my father and was the coolest man ive ever known and now days people are very disrespectful like you said

TJ The Entertainer...so cool you were able to ask him that question. Did Bill give his opinion why he thought they made it? I do think the Anglin brothers and Morris made it, good for them, they deserved to make it, with such brilliant escape ideas!!

I’m sure no one is proud of being a criminal. And I’m sure he wasn’t proud that he was caught. You could see that he got ticked off when he asked about how he learned how to counterfeit checks.
I met him earlier today. Seemed really nice. He got married about two years ago. One of the rangers Performed the service. I was told that he got out of jail only 6 years ago.
