I saw Jeffrey Dahmer in person. I lived nearby when it happened and a friend and I decided to wake up early one morning and get in line to see if we could get in and we did. I was sitting in front of his father and when he walked in the courtroom he and I made eye contact for a moment. He was bigger than I expected.
My husband and I went to this museum a couple years ago and I loved it! I've got so many pics in this museum. Including the Bronco. Lol we also went to the Titanic museum because I'm obsessed with Titanic. Lol
This museum is so cool. Loved all of it. I thought the rustler shoes that made horse shoe prints was pretty smart. I liked the music they were playing in the background. Thanks.
I visited there over a year ago, and I loved the museum. When I stepped into the corner where all the Gacy items were, I got sick on my stomach and had to sit down. They were, by far, the darkest items in there for me. Thanks for this video. You did a great job!! Merry Christmas!

I went here July 2022 and I don’t know how to explain it but, I felt very unsettled being near the Gacy display. All in all I loved the museum and was surprised at how much rare items they had.
My Dad before he passed away from Cancer he was a Gun and Knife dealer his collection was of guns from the 1st actual gun till modern day guns and I would love ❤️❤️❤️ the older guns

There's a scene where one of Sosa's assassins shot Gina with a Uzi. Tony took that Uzi from him and used it against him. I think this particular Uzi is displayed in the museum. Also the gun appeared in the chainsaw scene is a Mac 10, not a Uzi and the gun Tony used in the final scene is a Colt AR15, not a M16.

You are in my favorite getaway spot. Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge are such beautiful places. Its fun in town but the beauty is outside of the main strip. We never made it to the museum in the 8 times we visited .The timing never worked out. We will be going next time for sure. Great video Jordan

Over the years you have introduced us to many exceptional museums and, as an overseas viewer, I remember the museum, where it was situated and, on several occasions, have spoken about it in conversations. I was over in Chicago in 1995 from the U.K. visiting family and although I’d seen the Lexington hotel in 92 I wanted to go again as they had just started demolition. I managed to get a couple of half bricks and a nice chunk of the orange slate to bring home.
I did time in Columbia correctional institution, this was 7 years after Jeffrey Dahmer died but there was still alot of people there that remember him. He was a very quiet guy.

The rustler footwear was completely flat with cow hoof indentations to make hoof prints when you walked in them , they definitely didn't have horse shoes attached and didn't have massive heels on them which would be counter to productive . Makes me wonder what else is not genuine in the museum

I came down to get a snack on my break and she was walking out of the bathroom. It's strange but Manson's song, Look at your Game Girl, is not a bad song, it's a little bit haunting.
This collection was originally located in Washington D.C. as the Crime and Punishment Museum, including the handcuff partition ropes. The Dahmer glasses came from a collection online, and were sold recently. If they have scything else, they have Bundy’s VW Beetle, Gacey’s clown costumes, Albert Fish’s letters, ect.
Some of the stuff is very interesting to see but I have mixed feeling about the whole thing. It feels in a way that we're immortalizing people we should not immortalize - I'm talking about people like Gacy and other serial killers.
Its a learning experience and a reminder to mankind to never make the same mistakes again we are talking about seriously sick twisted people who back in their era didnt have the resources, support or education that we do today so it is important to share these facts not to glorify them but to teach others and to never let such things happen again for example Dahmers case was the most famous case about insanity where the judges and lawyers and the police did their utmost best to proof facts on whether dahmer was sane or insane
FYI, just thought you should know that the Gacy paint set was his LITERAL paint set that he used for his paintings. Not for his clown makeup. You can tell because the paint tubes were brands of actual artist paint with paintbrushes, they were not face paint. He was known for his paintings of clowns, many of which were done while he was in prison. Also, the Scarface gun wasn't the "Say hello to my little friend" gun. The gun in the ending scene with him saying that was an AR15 with grenade launcher attached. 🙂 The Uzi was used earlier in the movie.
The best Museum of History. To be honest this stories and humans should be remembered for many future generations in a positive or negative way this happen and the impact they left behind cannot be forgotten
I assume the main reason they no longer allow videoing in the museum is you may be getting other people in the frame that haven't agreed to being photographed / videoed ... I'm sure someone complained ... at one time or another ...
I was just there in October. It was super funny even know my sister and her friend are more of crime buffs than I am. I still do everything in there somehow.

The DB Cooper exhibit, the stairs on the 727 he jumped from, were no longer able to be opened in flight after that hijacking. The locking mechanism is semi- affectionately called the Cooper lock.
The pizza bomb is so nuts I just finished a deep dive podcast into that. The pizza guy wasn’t some innocent random he was in on it he just had second thoughts at the last minute but then they jumped him and forced him. He seemed to realize at the last minute just how bad and dumb of an idea it was. Plus the ring leader, the woman, was a complete psychopath. Such a wild story! This video was great mate!!!!!

If this is the pigeon forge one it was made of most of the pieces from the Washington museum of crime after it was closed down.
