Just got one 12 Bamf with a 3500 crunch on a 2ohm load and only have the Amp turned halfway up and it knocks getting another one in the back of my suburban to go with it I'm a fan so far
I have the gothic my friend gave it to me and I put it inside a sealed small box. Do you have experience with the blue gothic power acquotic ? Which is better this or the gothic ? And should I get a ported box ?
Gothic is a great budget subwoofer. The bamf is definitely in a higher class it handles more power, more excursion and is louder if you have the power to give it. With both of these subs you will gain a lot of volume going ported at the expense of a little accuracy but both these subs still sound very good ported with good accuracy so I would go ported.
@@HiFiVector so when you mention accuracy how could one explain that in terms of a woofer ? Would it be like turning on bass boost ? Where it sounds like shit at other frequencies lol? I just got a new budget amp that’s outputting twice the watts as the previous cx300.1 that’s been driving this gothic for the last week and I’m not impressed by the new amps output :/ It’s that audiozerone 2000 watt amp it does 1000rms @ 1ohm on all the dynos and it’s supposed to do around 600 on 2ohm how I have it wired. I was expecting to feel twice the output as that little kicker 300wattt amp I also have but I’m a little unsure to keep this new amp or return it ☹️
How do these compare to the Audio Legion Maximus subs they are same price roughly.... Bamf is rated higher but Audio Legion is outta business so for future purchases once Audio Legion is gone for good. Plus Power Acoustic offer recone kits for these and still have customer service. Unlike Audio Legion...
The bamf is a good sub but for rock doesn’t have the accuracy and transient response that the Maximus has. Other than that it is a great sub. Loud hits hard goes low handles good power. For rap and bass music it’s great and very loud.
I've been a bass head for 20 years been had a few cars always with subs.. and I've had the PA MOFO 15's...I was thinking of trying out Skars 12s 5k ones , but man I keep leaning back to Power Acoustic BAMF idk any votes lol 😂

Which skar are you taking about? The bamf are pretty good subs for the money.

I have two 12s in my truck, which are super underpowered, but the bamfs literally hit at like 25 hz

As long as your port area is correct and not too large so the sun unloads they seem to handle the rms power rating just fine.
