You are right! It was a mistake on my part during the intro. The playing section is correct: The Stormy Monday is the shiny one, and the Mule has the aged look. Very sorry for any confusion.

Close your eyes, keep your mouse ready to click on the Stormy Monday. Click back and forth. The difference is negligible. Perhaps a touch more treble on the Stormy's.

They are very similar construction. Resistance is virtually the same at 7.1k vs 7.3 and both use plain enamel wire and silver base plates. The only significant difference is the Stormy Monday is Alnico II magnets and the Mule is Alnico IV. The bridge position is where the models differ with the Mule being wound hotter than the Stormy Monday.

stormy all day long! Mule had less of that vintage snap and sizzle,less mojo. The Mule sounds like a killer arena rock pick up and Stormy sounds like a blues rock pup imo.
