Thank you this has been very helpful
Brass casing...
Thank you for this!!! Very simple stuff!!!
Not sure about the “meat”, but the minis sounded brighter and less midranged. I’d pick the firebirds + single 500K volume pot
Thanks for your feedback!
Great info thanks
Thanks for you feedback!
Whole lot ta Rosie for me
I wanted to like this pedal but it sounds too boxy to me, and there’s so many other options these days like the Spruce Goose that sounds smooth and open. How do you like it after 2 months?
Thanks very much for your feedback! We have not found it to be "boxy" per se and have been very happy with the Belle. But this is all very subjective. So the fact that it does not work for you is completely understandable. There is no substitute for playing the pedal with your guitar through your rig, but we hope these demos at at least helpful, even if your conclusion is that the pedal is not for you.
Nope
If your talking about the rotation direction where turning the knob counter clockwise rolls OFF the tone. Yes, switching the wires going to the A and C tabs will make it so turning the knob counter clockwise rolls ON the tone, which might suit a left handed player better. Thank you!
I had a question from a left-handed player. They essentially asked about the pots being oriented for a right-handed guitar. Is it possible to just reverse the wiring to suit a left hander?
@devinwhite5086 - See Ed's answer above.
AWESOME info!
I love this pedal. I have the "glass" switches off for both modes and it's the first drive in my chain after an EHX Soul Food, which I use as a boost. My Ampless rig goes Behringer CS400>Soul Food>Wampler Terraform with a pre/post loop>Triumph>TS-9dx>Fat Rat back into Terraform>Big Muff>EHX Hot Tubes>Behringer UV300 vibrato>Walrus Audio Fundamental Ambient reverb>HX Stomp>stereo effects loop>Boss DD-8>RV-6>EHX Oceans 13. I swap a Boss SY-1, SL-2, EQD the Depths and a Caline Snakebite in there occasionally too.
Thanks for your feedback!
So how should I dial my eq pedal? Sounds great!
Bought couple months ago the " twin" pedal branded Harley Benton, i've placed as third pedal , after the Dyna Comp and the Electro Harmonix LPB, followed by JHS chorus / phaser / reverb . I love the clean sound ( the amp is a Vox MV 50 with Vox BC 108 cabinet) , and , in my opinionn , if you are looking to add the right " coat of painting" to your sound , get this pedal , it is useful ! If you are looking for something that is focused mainly on hard rock or heavy metal , Joyo / Harley Benton, gives you other choices . Best regards, Patrick from Italy
Brilliant advice, thanks so much for sharing!
Wolfetone Dr Vintage all the way! (I truly like the alnico ii sound), but if I needed extra oomph, I'd go for the Legends over the Marshallhead
Thanks for your feedback!
It is the fender telecaster of microphones
Were the Fralins flat pole piece pickups.
Hi, the Fralins are the "Stock Stagger"
More mids with the Mule, more highs with the Stormy Monday. The mid grunt of the Mule wins with some crunch, but the Stormy Monday wins for cleans.
@@shred5 awesome, thanks for your feedback!
LF for me is a slight better.
@@hobiecat901 Thanks for your feedback👍
The P90 had that classic tone I love to hear from a P90.
@@electropentatonic Thanks for your input!
What modification should I do to replace 6l6gc with kt66 in my Hot rod deville?
Well done and thanks. It’s good to know 👍🏼
This was a pretty good video, nicely done!
This is not hot rails right?
If you are thinking of the Seymour Duncan Hot Rails, no. The first set of white pickups are the Fralin Split Blade Tele. Completely different animal.
Sounds nice. Love the look of this pedal with it's massive knob.
Well said. I fix guitar amps, and I deal with this from time to time. The parameters of each tube are significantly different.
Thanks for your feedback!
I thought this was a typical clickbait title but clicked anyway, of course, but it's great information beautifully explained.
Thanks for your feedback!
That's a great pedal. But I don't run mine into the clean channel, I only use it as a booster in the dirt channel. That is truly where the Morning Glory sounds glorious!
Nice! Thanks for sharing!
you guys should also demo without an amp, that is with the guitar directly through an interface. that way, we get to hear exactly what the pedal does to the DI clean tone, then itll be much more of a neutral and helpful demo
Interesting suggestion. Could be a little harsh sounding. Will think about that for future pedal demos.
Can it used with 9V battery?
I don't like Fuzz pedals but I like what I hear on this demo .
So if you’re showing off the pedal, why play so quiet we can hear your pick hitting the strings, the pickup selector, heck I can hear your chair squeak better than the sound coming out of the amp.
@@Ottophil Sorry that bothered you so much. We’ll post a direct-mic version of this in a couple of hours and will update this comment when it’s up.

Fantastic as always!!!!!!!!!! raised my flag
Thank you!!!
It’s called “planing”
Yo bro love the guitar
Any tips for mixing clean DI guitars.... recorded from our interface guitar inputs? Maybe how to emulate how the pros used to mix that horrible initial direct sound... into all sorts of great sounds. Watched so many videos where the 70's session players said they got all these amazing tones on those hits... going direct into the board.
@@musicproductionvideos5019 - here’s a quick tip from Tyler: ruclips.net/user/shortsHst3VCctx6w?si=KqY2GCi3LfBE30Vl
Hey I have a Monoprice 5-Watt Tube Combo Amp but it’s still too loud for bedroom use and I need a proper attenuator. However my amp speaker seems to just be connected to the amp with the positive and negative connectors that feed somewhere into the amps chassis rather than the speaker plugging into the amp by way of a regular speaker cable plug. So can I still connect the Bugera PS1 to my Monoprice 5-Watt Tube Amp Combo? How would I connect the device exactly? The only Jack on the back of the amp says it’s an External Speaker Impedance 8-16 Ohms and the speaker in the amp with the positive and negative prongs attached to the speaker then feeding into the amp chassis somewhere. Can you please help me figure out how to still use the Bugera PS1 with this amp and explain it as if you are talking to someone with little to no knowledge of this stuff whatsoever. Thank you I would greatly appreciate your help.
The easiest way would be to disconnect the existing speaker wires at the speaker, hopefully they are slide on spade connectors. Tape off the ends and coil it out of the way. Make a new speaker cable long enough to reach where the PS1 will sit. 1/4” male connector on one end , and the slide on spade connectors at the speaker. That way you can plug it straight into the ext speaker jack for full power , or connect it to the speaker side of the PS1 and run another speaker cable from the 8 ohm input on the PS1 to the ext speaker out put on the amp. Make sure you always have a speaker connected when you power up the amp. Let me know if you have more questions. Thanks Matt
@@M3Amplification hey thanks Matt but I’m still confused. It does have the slide on spade connectors but you said take them off my speaker and tape them up and move to the side but then do what? Don’t use those spade connectors again, just tape them out the way and get a cable that has a 1/4 connector on one end and 2 different spade connectors on the other end? Then use that cable to connect the spade ends to my speaker and the 1/4 end to the ps1? But will my amp knobs still be useable? If the original cable either the spade connectors that is connected inside the amp was taken off the speaker and set aside then how will the actual amp circuit be plugged into anything? Am I retarded lol?
@@jacobsamano9761 Jacob, Yes you will just keep the coiled original cable out of the way. Just better to not swap back and forth between the two on the speaker. So your new 1/4” to spade connector will be your full time speaker cable, wether connected directly to the speaker or on the out put of the PS1. The external speaker jack should cut the signal to the original cable when there is something plugged into it. Let me know how it works out and if you need more info. Thanks Matt
@@M3Amplification thank you kind sir for your time! I very much appreciate it.
Nice pedal!! Too bad the verbal parts are terribly done. I can barely understand a word said. Oh well.. the pedal's merits speak for themselves. I'm gonna look into purchasing this baby!! 👍👍
I've owned vintage pafs and I'm NOT impressed by these at all! IMO Duncan Antiquities piss all over these!
The bird has the meat
Never heard of this pedal so I looked up prices...... Reverb has a hand made pedal for $2,301.10! What is so good about this hand made version? WHile used pedals arew about $180 dollarsa.
Same. BTW, I love how you do your comparison videos.
@@briansrecordingarchive6579 thank you so much!
The 59 sounds darker, fuller, fatter and cuts through well. The PAF sounds scooped as if it has a face mask on.
Anyone who plugs into an okko is a kook
Or YOU don’t have the skill to make any pedal YOU plug into to sound good. Chew on that one.
Love WRHBs❤
The neck pickup is placed where the 24th fret would be, giving it more harmonic resonance
