I agree...regular wand just doesn't do it.. I use my 360i and it does a great job as well on commercial carpets. I just ordered his saiger's special sauce and will order me a zipper wand or a Rotovac Bonzer.

We just cleaned at this place a few days ago... But we were so bummed as it had come time to replace carpets and this infamous carpets have now been replaced. We were so looking forward to maybe getting one more Video out of this carpet.
If the zipper uses jets and suction , yet the lvm uses the bonnets and rotation. ....is therea wand that has rotating brushes in it and jets and suction all at the same time instead of either or ???? Thanks
Great question. No real wand you could say but there are rotary extractors you can hook up to the machine... And we did some experimenting using some brush head designs, but they are slower so not being used as often we are seeing overall. Those rotary extractors can do a good job cleaning, but not every carpet needs that type of aggressive agitation I guess I would say.
there any problems with the wicking after it dries up in a couple days. This office Close to a kitchen area and how fast did it get dirty after it was clean do you have to go back every three months because this is off a kitchen area??
BIg Steven frank Hi there. We don't experience issues with wicking or resoil. Just like anything though if a client has worked over a spot there can be an issue that might need addressing but with our Saiger's Sauce 1 we are having great success... And many others are sharing the same. We actually find it very easy to rinse and we see neutral 7 pH numbers consistently even using alkaline rinses, acidic rinses and some people doing fresh water rinsing. It is a truck stop office and also back office to a resturuant. It is an olefin carpet which is an oil loving carpet too So this was a lot of fatty grease but also had some oily grease from engine type oils you could say and asphalt oils
Hey Mark I'm FINALLY deciding to get a zipper 15inch. I was wondering i know you have the SS version but what is a good water pressure for me to run at. Mostly CGD carpet an I have the butler system also. Thank you and love your videos. Also ill be using code red 👍👍
Regular zipper we run 500 psi most of the time. You can run up to 700 or even 800 on super nasty and cut through the crud then turn it back down in less nasty. A regular zipper will recover well. With the SS Super Spinner we run 800 to 1000 psi and it still recovers great 😊👍 Reach out anytime you need help 😊👌👍

Fortunately with the set up we have with the Zipper, good flushing and in this case no pad underneath this carpet was not a problem. There are times when there can be wicking when home owners have tried a lot of fixing on their own. We have been lucky and don't run into too many of those situations
Dan Laninga you know, I cannot confirm this but I have had a few people using it as VLM... And they have had great success in their testing. I have not tested personally to verify this, so I really cannot personally confirm this. That needs to be a next testing for us.
I bought the bonzer and tried it on commercial carpet. I was not impressed, I could do as well with my wand. Also I couldn't do the back and forth scrubbing motion that I can with my wand because it overwets carpet, in addition it doesn't get edges. Can anyone that uses a Bonzer or a Zipper give me your feedback. Thanks!.
FiberCare Billing the Zipper is definitely a premium tool. I would love to be able to show you in person. In my traveled I have brought my van and equipment for people to try. The Zipper Wand is also at some trade shows. Can you do a video on similar products like the CRB, chemicals, techniques, etc. that a homeowner can do (within a reasonable budget cost) to help keep their carpets clean in between professional cleanings. Not saying to go out of business, but something the homeowner can do to keep a general upkeep on their carpets, and hire people like you to do a deep/professional clean.
That's a great idea. I actually like that and we'll put something together in my head and try to make that happen as well here in the future. Maybe I will do that using my home and give some tips on what a homeowner can do

Great question. There have been a few people who have used a 13 inch Zipper with 01 jets. I believe you need at least two 3 stage vac motors. When we did that video, I wasn't thinking totally through how people might respond and was thinking this video might get too long. I used to work doing that and once you're done and it dries up all that stains and stuff stays in the bottom and then comes up again
Fortunately with the set up we have with the Zipper, good flushing and in this case no pad underneath this carpet was not a problem. There are times when there can be wicking when home owners have tried a lot of fixing on their own. We have been lucky and don't run into too many of those situations
In México i do the same with a simple extractor and brush scrabing wiht my hands wish to have equipment like these to have more cliente.

Is this machine only for carpet found in offices and restaurants, or can it be used for regular home carpets?
It can be used on some homes. We use it on larger and more open projects
Could you use Saiger Sauce prior to VLM? Or does it need to be extracted?
Dan Laninga you know, I cannot confirm this but I have had a few people using it as VLM... And they have had great success in their testing. I have not tested personally to verify this, so I really cannot personally confirm this. That needs to be a next testing for us.
I bought the bonzer and tried it on commercial carpet. I was not impressed, I could do as well with my wand. Also I couldn't do the back and forth scrubbing motion that I can with my wand because it overwets carpet, in addition it doesn't get edges. Can anyone that uses a Bonzer or a Zipper give me your feedback. Thanks!.
FiberCare Billing the Zipper is definitely a premium tool. I would love to be able to show you in person. In my traveled I have brought my van and equipment for people to try. The Zipper Wand is also at some trade shows. The Zipper is more expensive but when you look at it or use it you would definitely see the differences

Can you do a video on similar products like the CRB, chemicals, techniques, etc. that a homeowner can do (within a reasonable budget cost) to help keep their carpets clean in between professional cleanings. Not saying to go out of business, but something the homeowner can do to keep a general upkeep on their carpets, and hire people like you to do a deep/professional clean.
That's a great idea. I actually like that and we'll put something together in my head and try to make that happen as well here in the future. Maybe I will do that using my home and give some tips on what a homeowner can do

Great question. There have been a few people who have used a 13 inch Zipper with 01 jets. I believe you need at least two 3 stage vac motors. Erik Hiltz the inventor and maker of the Zipper Wand can definitely help with more in depth questions. He will also be very honest and let you know what would be minimum to work. It will work on all lengths of carpet but it pushes and pulls the easiest on commercial low profile carpets

This would be our Code Red actually now. It has an oxy and an enzyme. We do not have a citrus in it and it now also unscented. This was in testing mode. This did have our Harvard GForce booster in this mix but the new product really took a new twist as we were testing.

Great video, only wish you would have finished the room and shown it all instead of the near end. Lot of people seem to cut it off early and I’m not sure why.
When we did that video, I wasn't thinking totally through how people might respond and was thinking this video might get too long. I also didn't have any software to edit so had to record and hope for the best. Kind of crazy how the apps for video editing and just the quality of equipment that has come about.
