Love the video! It's a great mix of classic scenario play and realism.

Thank you! That's the goal. And it'll be a good opportunity to play some of the scenarios I never got around to or haven't done in years. A nice break from the heavy theming!

Really excited to see more of these! You really make coaster building look effortless (despite the troubles you had with the junior coaster). Great stuff and thanks for the shoutout!

Thanks very much! Coaster building will always be my favorite part even though I feel like I hit that creative block sometimes! And you're welcome-- I really appreciate the style in which you build scenarios-- it's such a relaxed vibe. I love it.

I'm an hour from Knoebels. It's not just my home park, it's really the only park I've been to. I was afraid to ride coasters as a kid but now I really want to as an adult.

No time like the present to go ride stuff! Well after winter, I guess. Knoebels is a great park though. One of my favorites. I regret not going more when I lived in Lancaster. I'm a little further away now... Hope you can go enjoy some rides on Phoenix soon!

Thank you! Very different for me, but it's a nice change of pace from the heavy custom stuff.

It's always nice going back to the basics, but as soon as I see the basics my mind immediately begins to race with how I can make it more realistic xD

It's definitely a balance of traditional gameplay and realistic bits and pieces. Trying to keep that original game vibe while still keeping those key realism details.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes to place Haunted Houses on hills.

Phoenix at Knoebels was my first wooden coaster! I always look forward to riding it whenever I have a chance to go.

@@AmusementAcademy Absolutely! I'm also a big fan of Twister at Knoebels as well, it has a lot of fun turns.

One thing I saw a youtuber do to have a park with trains/monorails as transport and keep it realistic is building is as you expand the park and not open it until it is completed. Having an incomplete ride for a couple years isn't too realistic until it's completed, but in the end it's easy to adjust and looks good at the end

That's a clever way to plan ahead. Good thought for sure. I'll have to give it a try.

What is this coaster name you mention at 2:59? I have difficulties understanding it.

I was initially intending to do a Zierer Tivoli Medium model coaster. This is an off the shelf model from Zierer-- they have a small, medium, large, custom, and a few other variants. Here's a list of the Tivoli mediums: rcdb.com/r.htm?ot=2&mo=8338

I usually play a scenario optimally, and start completly renovating it using the Open tools once I beat it. Really like that myself

I feel like this is a good strategy also for doing it the way you want to do it. This could be a future series or something. Maybe if I got back and pick some of my favorites to do that way.

If you're not putting a haunted house on a hill with spooky trees, what are you even doing?
