Hello. Our 13/14 season has recently been announced, and Swan Lake won't be featured. We will, however, be broadcasting live to cinemas worldwide Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Giselle, The Sleeping Beauty and The Winters Tale.
By far my favorite ballet score!! But I'm a sucker for the minor key. Just love it. It's interesting though. The only live performance I've seen of this is by NYCB .. and Their ending is tragic and totally chilling even with the major key.
I've been listening to this score for over sixty years and have seen the ballet dozens of times; it never gets old and I loved this guys presentation! I hope to see more! Please.

Lovely video and explanation. I don't care for the Royal's staging of the cliff at the end but the rest of the production looks lovely.

It was just wonderful saw the ballet Swan Lake at the Lenton Showcase Nottingham last night. The dancers where all brillant.
