i think the reason it was sending you off the deck is that you didn’t push the throttle to MIL
3:13 because you have to put the throttle on max after landing 😭

your normally supposed to full thottle after wires catch the hook so that you dont get flinged like u did with the f14
Best touchdown and landing on aircraft carrier in the F-35C is going at 125 kts and have perfectly set the trim.
You have to floor it when you hit the deck then turn the throttle down and pickup the hook when you when you stop or you go flying off the deck also don't get the last cables get the first or second or you go to far on the deck and you get flung off (Trust me I have experience)
i wouldnt even land on the carrier 😭

Try this is DCS with the Tomcat or F18
A perfect 10 on a two wire? What the heck. I will say starting out on the Tomcat was probably a mistake for two reasons.
1: it was notoriously difficult to get on the ship during it's service career.
2: IFE/heat blur were unable to model the direct lift control well due to limitations in the sim. The DLC system made it so that the pilot could easily change the decent rate without changing the pitch or power
aswell as MSFS in general being absolute ass in the military aviation field eitherway, DCS wouldve been a much better option for this
+ if hes gonna say "perfect" he might aswell do a case 1 pattern and not just rawdog it onto the deck
