if no body else has mentioned.. you can bag ur socks & or brushes, even paint rollers… & keep them in ur freezer… they’ll be good to use forever, without having to rinse and wash! 👍 You can mark the color name on the bag if u wish.. LOVE LOVE THAT IDEA!! I have a spindle ladder I’m making for an order. It’s going to be so easy to paint them. She wants the ladder dark gray and then white washed on top of that. It’s going to be BEAUTIFUL and so easy to paint my spindles!

I hope you show us how you make your tiered trays. I am working on one, right now, and am not 100% sure how I want to go about it. I am using a very unconventional object for the middle, that I haven't seen anyone else using, yet, and I can't wait to get it built. However, I want to make sure I am doing it properly. I am going to have to use a double ended screw for one of them, and I hope it will work, as I have never used one of them before. I know it isn't rocket science, but I always get so nervous when I am doing these things.

I saw something cute in Michael's that you could use the idea. It was a spindle with that old chippy look and they had framed it in a long narrow frame. I could see you doing something like that. It was the type of spindle with the square trim in the middle so that it would lay flat.

Can you tell me the best way to break down an old chair, to get the spindles off. My neighbor gave me 6 chairs, and I want to get them apart, without much damage. I am not sure if I should cut them off with my jigsaw, or just try to wiggle them apart. They are pretty strong still, but I don't want to damage the spindles. I am definitely going to try this, when I get my spindles apart. 😂 I am always asking you something crazy, aren't I? You're just such a good teacher, though.
hahah!! You don't want to see me take a old chair apart... Its wild.. I actually just take a hammer and bang away. Most of the time the glue is old and it will come apart quite easy. If not I use my jig saw. Ask away!! That's why I have my channel! To help people along with there crafting. I have tried just about everything , not a master at alot by any means but usually we can figure it out . I really appreciate your support here xo
That works really well! I’d use disposable gloves underneath so you can throw the gloves away when you’re done!

My problem with working with spindles is getting a good straight cut where they will be level
Yes, I worry about that. I haven't cut any, yet, partly, for that reason. I have a mitre saw, so it shouldn't be hard, I just overthink everything. 😵
I use my miter saw and work good! I have tried with a jig saw and it doesnt work ...

What is that gorgeous blue, green color that you are almost out of please?
It was just a acrylic paint form the dollar store. I think Peacock blue
How about when it's on the chairs
The same technique will work
So how does this work if your handrail is a different colour to your spindles plus the mess what a load of crap brush and roller original and best way to paint spindles
Might have to use a different technique
Where do you find your interesting spindles?
Mostly from broken furniture
You know what? You could probably do that with wax and poly
The wax would be great, I am not sure about the poly, but I bet you could.
