It’s funny how before this encounter, nearly everyone was convinced that Germany would win, but as soon as England ran them into the ground, the same folks be like “worse Germany team ever” People really need to start seeing this current England team as grownups.
@@mikepiche4217 Erm, oookaay, But on this day in history, by the late phases of the game, the Germans were dead on their feet. So yeah, England ran the team with the “pedigree” into the ground
A win is a win, in the end, who wins is right. This might have not been the strongest German team, but is still a good selection. On any day, anyone can win or loose a game, especially nowadays. It's about momentum, the Germans had been disastrous in that year, and it reflected there. This was a good win, especially mentality-wise, for a nation that rarely beats big teams. And it can only improve. In the final it was close and it got to penalties. I still think that France threw it all away, as it is the strongest team in Europe. But eh... what do I know? I'm Italian. Good luck to England in the WC (I called England my home for 16 years and I have plenty of good memories and friends there).
"The victory waited by England for 55 years!" So your telling me that England didn't beat Germany after 1966 in international tournament until 2021? FYI! England beaten Germany in Euro 2000.
@@orcasoba5610 That’s fine, the NL is really a WC warmup this year. Lots to learn for everyone. Actually, the NL coming when it does is one reason why I think the Europeans will have the advantage in Qatar.

Ran them into the ground? England can't even touch Germany in football pedigree

Pickford was good. Saved England a couple of times. Perhaps the best since Gordon Banks 😃
Bravo England from Portugal
And we were all speechless !
it's only happen "once in a million years!" 🤣🤣🤣
Its time to England win something. Home of football.
Hearing that since ages 🤣
Euro went back to Rome, and WC went back to Maradona's home.

In a knock-out stage
It was the first time since 1966 for England to knock out one of the “big” teams in an international tournament knockout game.
Did you forget Euro 2000!!?
Group game
yet no cup for england since 1966.
This still felt better.
Wrong they have their cup of tea
@@smitra3367 👍😂❣
It’s coming in November brother. It’s coming home 😈
It's only germany
4 World Cups
3 Euros
😊
Dont be so silly and disresptful.
Only Germany arguably the best team ever after Brazil
Never again you brits
it would have been better if Germany beat England in the final at Wembley, still glad that Italy gave England a good lesson in humility
Which is why only one of those teams are going to Qatar
Rent free 😂
Don't worry. Germany gets the revenge in Munich next month😁
