For me, Kane’s Winning Goal made me go absolutely crazy as soon as that ball hit the back of the net, the whole of my family went raving bonkers, what a way to score it after unfortunate poor performances in both the Scotland and Czech Republic games previously beforehand!

One of the best days of my life Wembley was rocking The whole country were united as one and the best thing was we managed to end that 55 year defeat to Germany which led us all the way to the final

This game against Germany was the game that set up the entire path to the final, the boys did everything they could up until the last moment, it was an incredible game to watch especially since it ended the half century long defeat to Germany
England got lucky. Germany should have won. Muller should have scored and England should have been sent packing for home.

Sterling does not get enough credit for that first goal. We forget it was 75 mins into quite a dull game and his vision, direct play, pace AND ability to stay on side when Kane didn’t was just superb. He gave England momentum after that! He started the attack and finished it, what a player.
