I remember when I was 13 or 14 years old, I got Minecraft for the 3DS and I spent at least 300 hours playing that game. I beat the Ender Dragon, I beat the Wither, I built a lot of stuff. I’ve always wanted to port my 3DS worlds over to my computer to continue playing them there but I never figured out how to do that.
I’m sure you could if you get it into an SD card and convert it to a .mcpack file

Bro, for 3d to work the game essentially needs to be rendered twice (once for each eye). Seeing how the game runs as it is, would you really wanna see how it runs in 3d?

@@mariofanl1ve it has to display each pixel twice, but it's not rendering it twice to do that. Think of it like duplicating your display to a second monitor on a computer. It's just using an algorithm to copy the image, it isn't rendering it twice, as that would be redundant. Late 3DS games didn't have it because nobody used it, not because of processing power
2:00 the 3ds has a stylus literally built into it so you don't need to use your thumb for touchscreen menus. it's not exactly uncomfortable to have the stylus in your palm while you play. it's also not required, the directional pad (D-Pad) below the left stick works.

12:38Ironically, the PSVita version does both of these better-- It's portable and is quite literally a legacy console version, almost the same as what you'd get on an x360, PS3, etc.
Nintendo Switch has Minecraft Nintendo Switch edition and Bedrock edition better than PS3 and has better anything than PS3 while being handheld

um what? I've beaten this version twice, and I'm no speedrunner genious. It is INCREDIBLY easy to beat. A little laggy at the end, but still pretty easy. You also went in incredibly unprepared.

I literally just went to the end for the first time in this game, and I was prepared. The first thing that happened once I had bridged to the main island was being knocked into the void by the dragon coming our of nowhere. You can't see it coming cuz of the awful render distance, and trying to clutch is almost impossible due to the terrible controls. I tried again a few more times, but in the end I gave up cuz I kept dying out of nowhere. The Ender Dragon fight is almost impossible to do legit in this game, without dying, I swear.

I usually play in realms between a Xbox and Switch the quality drops and the chunk distance is short of course, but aside from that it feels pretty normal to me
Bedrock runs like crap, period, i've legit never seen bedrock running smoothly. First the Switch version, then I tried the mobile port on a super high end phone capable of emulating switch games at full speed, and it's STILL near unplayable. My guess is that it's bloated by the emotes, the built-in store and all that unnecessary crap which makes performance worse. They should have kept the legacy console version.

@@Ep1cBramb10 He isn't lying, it's just he doesn't know that the usb-c is hard-modding. He didn't know about it durinh the streams. I was one of those who said that it's still counting as modding, but it didn't really stuck with him, which I'm not suprised of.
@@RussVandy"Mod" is shorthand for "modification", and doesn't inherently imply modifications to software. The hardware itself can be modified, allowing for hardware modifications, or "hard-mods". Software mods are "soft-mods", hardware mods are "hard-mods". Just because you didn't homebrew it or whatever doesn't mean it isn't modded.
Every time I would get close beating the game, the game would crash, corrupt the data, and refuse to open until I deleted the game in settings. I got really close several times too.
I unironically went for every achievement (execpt ocean monument stuff cus my world didnt generate them) bc i was in middle school at the time and played on the bus
I really liked the streams. I don't like watching streams, but watching them while I played my own world on my New 2ds XL helped me not to get bored of the cow and wheat farming.

i SWEAR DOWN minecraft for the 3ds came out before the switch. a kid in my old primary school had it on his 3ds and this was a year before switch released 😭😭 i remember him going to the bathroom and me briefly stealing it to look at the different texture packs that were on it

God I remember playing this version of Minecraft all the time throughout high school, I also remember spawning in and finding 2 woodlands mansions right next to each other… that was interesting, but fun

3ds version has a special place in my heart. Also if you play the plastic pack you get a crazy fps boost and the game stops hitching when mining.
So I do actively play it, my issue is the tick rate. Waiting for crops to grow, animals to grow up and trees to grow. It makes doing anything a chore. Especially if i have to go out of my bases chunks
When i was 6 or 7, i got a 2ds for my birthday. I knew that games that said "only for 3ds" ran on my 2ds, so even though Minecraft said "only for new 3ds", i put all my savings into it. i was so sad when it didn't work.

As someone who beat the 3ds edition as my first ever minecraft version. I can say that as long as you never acknowledge tnt your 3ds will not turn into a hot pocket
I use to play Minecraft on my 3Ds and actually got as far as beating the Wither, I even had plans to beat the Ender Dragon but eventually stopped playing after a while. (I got distracted by Pokemon 😅)

Ah the first version of Minecraft I ever owned was the 3DS version yes it’s laggy and stuck ten updates behind but it’s still an awesome game to play on the go
I really regret playing this game because it corrupted my entire 3ds when it crashed
I still believe if this game was optimized, most problems can be fixed and add 3D (oh yea I saw one enderman and he just left after one hit)

I got the cartridge version for Christmas from my aunt one year and it is buggy and laggy but I rather have it than a phone if I'm out and about (although rather use my phone and a controller if I can't use a console or PC for whatever reason)
Although i play the 3ds version alot and prefer it there was alot of stuff i didn't know and learned from your streams

I like how the 3ds has larger worlds than the Vita, with even updates past the oceanic update. BUT its still a less fun experience due to spawn rates, graphics, a god awful render distance, and poor stability. Its insanity and makes me wish 4j couldve supported the Vita version a little more.

Always questioned why they even released it on the 3DS. The hardware is way too old.
How is it too old? Minecraft was originally released in 2011, the same year the 3DS came out. People had already ported working versions of Minecraft and created homebrew versions before the console ports came out in 2013... The hardware is more than sufficient, it was a bad port played poorly, that's all
I didnt forget minecraft 3ds.
Even bedrock in general is pretty bad on nintendo platforms, me and my wife wanted to play for old times sake and the switch was most convenient for us both having a 3 month old and 3 year old. Game could barely render period had constant frame drops and just ran terrible. Strangly though i found out i can play the android version on my steam deck(through some workarounds) and strangly with me hosting on the deck it went much smoother.

I think alot of the glitches and lag you had may have been caused by the capture card using some of its cpu
