Learning everything is so important. SMC order blocks, ICT fvg, moving averages are all relevant and important to understand. Do not listen to people that specialize in one trading style, and say the rest is trash, because if you are targeting an order block and there is a 200 ma just before it that you dont know exist, realize that millions of people are taking profits at the 200 and it may never reach that order block. You have to know it all and use it all if you wanna be one of the best.

I agree with Grant, I think everyone has to learn by falling on their face first. You dont respect the principles until you have been burned But respect to Derek for trying to help people not fall on their face lol
I definitely think majority will fail and lose $ first. But I agree also there’s definitely people out there that’s super disciplined and patient enough to trade demo until they’re profitable. Mostly because they value their money and/or scared to lose any!
I believe that everyone has to go through their own journey. Some people may have to go through the hard stuff to learn the life lesson they need to eventually persevere.

I identify myself a lot with Derek with what he says about that some of us just want 4K a month to have more freedom and then level up, but I also agree with grant about that you have to go through greedy to overcome it, because how can you overcome something that you don’t know how it feels or look like? Nice episode! So when do you invite me on the podcast? 😂 Been trading for 2 years (literally today is my second year closed) and I've been living from it for a year now. Never took a trade without SL, max I lost in 1 day was 3% and never again and the max I've risked in one trade was 2.5%. Have a few funded accounts and never lost one (yet) . I've been lucky with who taught me and had a propper risk mannagement since day 1.
It's not wrong to feel greed, the problem is falling for it. Keep your risk size the same and do everything the same. The money will come. Take those profits and invest in passive income.
I feel theres a lot of positive energy and knowledge from the very experienced Derek Vandy. However, Grant’s energy is pulling it down for me and it’s not doing the interview Justice. Honestly Im like this is boring, you dont have to win the argument. Actually theres a lot of wisdom I grasp from Vandy which Grant would really benefit from actually listening instead of finding the but. Same for the 16th interview. Some may call it challenging but for me its just like ‘c’mon now, again? lets move on to the real questions. Let it be once, not every time like trying to prove a point every times. Honest opinion
