No loans, no investors?!?!😳 Hello!😂 Man, blessings to them fr. That's unheard of in this day and age. I hope their business continues to prosper. I really appreciate him sharing his journey thus far.
Starting small is the key then slowly scale up, it's very possible as we see here. As a fellow food business owner it's not for the weak as he says but it takes consistent dedicated work.

My understanding is that the process is very expensive, so I commend the dedication it must have taken to finance it, in addition to running their existing businesses. I admire their grind and sacrifice.

I really appreciate this channel because it showcases a variety of black-owned businesses in LA that I had never heard of before. The Bible says to be fruitful and multiply, and this Great Botha is doing just that by putting these businesses on the map. Thank you for exposing us to these great entrepreneurs, Brotha.

Being I haven’t had instagram in 8 years my comment might be outdated but when I had it Mr. Fries was the only one of the Food startups aside from AFNG that kept hood politics out of the business and I respected it as I would notice majority of the other startups were letting the latter be incorporated in the business and while I will always be humbled and remember my upbringing, I don’t want to go somewhere to eat and deal with all that and the rudeness but again Mr. Fries humbling❤

Had it one time, it was $25, didn’t really enjoy the flavor but I’ll try a different one. His story is very admirable, I like how him and his wife worked together from the bottom.

Women in this day & age woulda passed homie up, she saw the vision, this is what it means when it is said that a wife can multiply, she knew what his potential was even when he was like nah and she stood beside him and he came around and realized her wisdom, they built a house and it housed a franchise, the value she brought offered him the opportunity to capitalize on something great

One thing about Mumbo sauce is it changes depending on who makes it.
I’m from B-More and whenever I went to DC I almost never got the same tasting Mumbo sauce whenever I tried different places.
Some is thicker, some sweeter, some tangier, some darker. It’s one of those things with mad different versions.

Yeah i visited the one in Ontario. The chicken was either overcooked or old. And the fries were the same. But hopefully the original local is better

We love TF outta some fries out here. My son I had homemade pastrami chili cheese for dinner for about a week straight. Had that Delores Brick Chilli popping, bought two big ass bags of fries from the store and we caught the pastrami on sale in the deli sectionon sale for $5 that's usually $12 per package

Everything is good (almost). I've patronized this business since he opened the Gardena spot. I thought the crab was terrible. It may not be artificial, but that's how it tasted. The garlic chicken is o.g. and you can't go wrong with it. I live closest to the Inglewood location, but their customer service is marginal. Gardena always has been friendly. Maybe cause "Helloooooo" is there 😂
