+JG Productions Everyone is saying that, but I honestly think it was the right move. There was not enough time in Apocalypse to give that reveal the kind of emotional impact that would make it satisfying. Hopefully they're saving it for another movie that can give it the attention and time it deserves (and maybe even wanda!)

I did hear that marvel invented a new story for Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch, but this is how it was for years. It actually kind of sucks that marvel wants to change it. Probably because they sold the rights to fox, so they do not want them to be related. But that completely ruins the entire story, which is so beautifully heartbreaking. Anyway, that's my humble opinion.

At the point they said goodbye to Quicksilver the movie was only 50 minutes in, not like they could really end it there and the movie was a big success they cant just take the easy way out. The Dark Knight would have ended in 20 minutes had they just shot the Joker in the head, their lives be damned.

I think part of the problem (before he was revealed as the leader of the X-Men) was that his cover was basically "smart disabled guy who started a school for smart and/or disabled kids". Getting rid of the "disabled" part would probably make people suspicious, particularly the few (very dangerous) enemies they have that don't already know who Professor X is.

This is the thing about these Shitty X-men movies. They only put in an X-men for "X" amount of time (heh) based on how popular they are or will be soon. Ultron movie gonna use QS? Because the event happens in the 70s, and sending Logan back in the 60s means that Kitty would have to stand there for 10 f*cking years lol. Their objective is to stop Mystique from killing Trask. To stop that, they have to be there right before it happens, in the 70s. Going back to the 60s can change certain things sure, like prevent Magneto from killing Shaw. But that doesn't guarantee that the Sentinels won't be created. Halfway through DofP, Mystique didn't kill Trask and the Sentinel program is passed anyway.
Maybe its only me but I enjoy darker hero movies like X men and The Dark Knight (where someone can actually die) more than funnier dumber movies like Avengers or GOTG.

Superman also looked different in the retro scenes. He was a lighter blue and the S was less refined.
When they were talking in the café, it was supposed to take place in the 1970's. Hence the different costumes and café.

the bullets here came from a gun, in Avengers, it came from a plane which has a lot bigger caliber
not the same quicksilver. The quicksilver in xmen (fox) is the real quicksilver which is that fast, he is a mutant with that power. the quicksilver in age of ultron (marvel, disney i think) is just some guy that is really fast. He is not a mutant, he is just a regular guy that offered himself for human experimentation. He is still crazy fast but its not the same guy. plus the scene were he dies what he did was save hawkeye and the kid sacrificing himself.
In the Rogue Cut, Rogue absorbs Kitty's power and replaces her in keeping Wolverine's mind back in the past. So that Kitty can go to the bathroom.

Nowadays, when I see time travel in a movie, I just roll with whatever they say, knowing that no matter what they put I could always find a flaw or some kind of misuse of the thing.

And they added superspeed, which means one has superspeedy thought processes which means it is more effective to sit down at superspeed and think things over and then get a much better solution than just running around. You realize that using this trick Quicksilver can beat Xavier at chess, right?

Did watch the movie yesterday, it was kinda of a disappointment, but is still had those great moments. I hope they add the QuickSilver moment.

I mean sure, archangel been a horseman is canon, but he die anyways by some shenanigans, and the reason to have storm and erik was only to add some tension, and besides they only use storm so we can know her "mini origins" of how did she join the X-men. I mean come on! Fox, you could had make a great film, but noooooo, you had to ruined it.... But at least there was some scenes that were enjoyable

(Warning some Spoilers) I checked this movie out from the library and I'm glad I did LOL I think the Xmen animated series of the 90s tell better stories than these xmen movies. Here's what they did wrong with that movie:
1. Kitty Pryde doesn't have time travelling powers. Forge sends mutants into the past with his time traveling machine. Cable can also time travel--that would of been a cool character to add.
2. Why didn't Blink teleport those future sentinels into outer space or teleport parts of them--so to destroy them? Why was she Asian in the movie?
3.They sent Wolverine and not Bishop into the past.
4. Why even include Rogue? She's in the movie for about 3 seconds LOL
5. Why is Wolverine always the main character in every xmen movie? The xmen work together as a team, and not as a support to Wolverine.
I'm not hating on Xmen; I've been a big fan since I was a kid. The Xmen movies can be much better than what we see in the movies.
Theres only so much you can do in a movie considering they did this all in a what would be a couple episodes worth of the cartoon show it was fun and entertaining and told a decent story though wolverine does get a lot of focus

X-Men movies aren't dark. Outside of Dark Knight there haven't been dark superhero films in a while. Just because you kill someone off doesn't make it dark nor does it make it good. You can't expect Disney (the same people who created Mickey Mouse) to start impaling people in all their movies and even so most of the MCU movies that came out after 2006 were pretty good in my opinion.
