Back in April we headed back up to Stanley Villa Farm near Blackpool for just shy of a week's session! We stayed in the bell tents AND we had a BRAND NEW overnight fishing pod to ourselves!
I managed to nab one of the bigger residents which is also a named fish for the lake, 'THE GENERAL' 👀

Great video well in on catching the general, the pegs would look great with some wood chipping down and would save the grass being torn up tight lines.
Wonderful place and management staff. We are so lucky to live in Blackpool which is 10 mins away.

Good video looks like you both enjoyed your stay, tail damage may indicate an otter attack which may be a problem for the lakes stock. 👍🏻🎣🐳

Nice fish, you really do NEED to go to Baden hall fishery in Staffordshire I went on the middle pool and a a good amount of fish biggest being 21lb. It’s so nice there

Nice fish the nearly fully. When you weigh the fish have the scales zeroed with a wet sling, it’s so much easier.

Re: Comments on the size of the lake you’re at - IMO small (unclear) ponds can often be as intricate as larger ones (you still have to do all the feature finding work).
QQ: Is there any reason you don’t film the fight when you get a bite? I find it can be incredible to watch, because we (viewers) can see real-time, the raw power of the fish, and, the highs (and lows) of your emotions during the fight!!!

You should zero the scales with the wet sling on 😊 gives you an accurate weight

Went here around a month or so ago.. wasn’t very impressed with the site and facilities abit run down, but the fishing was decent… good little runs water and the pods over the lake are a good idea.
You should do river carp campaign 🤭 1 river carp is worth way more than lake 😀
Great looking place but if I was paying them prices I wouldn't want to be in all that torn up ground an mess.
Be done soon bud, bear in mind this was taken in April. We’ve done so much work since. brand new pathes round the fishery. Ground has been redone and pegs being worked on as we speak. Its being done just takes time bud thanks
