I knew all of it already but didnt know Roos had double buff. Next time you should add Dimes coupled with Roos for the AC units. Tame 2 dinos and you can hatch whatever you want and add a hyena for a fridge.
I wouldent call these advanced tips. Tek dino's are pretty useless unless your starting fresh and want those higher levels to also hopefully get more points in stats u want, and doing a metal run followed by a pearl run with an angler while the metal smelts its just way more effecient, exept maybe on genisis lunar biome where all dinos are tek dino's. Ravangers are only really usefull in large crafting areas because of their weight reduction for carrying stuff around your base. Beers are really good for turret running, as it reduces all incoming damage so it also reduces the damage your armor takes, possibly giving you that extra second or 2 to be able to run the the tower and rocket launcher it, but it can also be used against flamers in combination with spamming med brews to help u win the fight. Procoptodons are usefull on genisis since you can ride flyers, but on official if you're trying to raise 10 or more dinos at a time its a real pain to get all the females to put the babys in the pouches on top of the amount of space it takes up. Nothing to add about the rare flowers thats actualy accurate
Depends almost entirely on what server or game mode you're playing on. A private server may have access to one map, and if that map is not extinction, and the breeding rate is even marginally high, you can tame a pair of parasaurs, breed them until you have 20 females, and 1 male, build a farm with a Dino on aggressive to harvest, and any time you or a tribe mate is near your base, they will breed, and lay eggs, and when they hatch, you have access to a high amount of element dust, and the scrap metal being a 1》1 smelt isn't a bad benefit either. Plus, tons of raw prime meat for kibbles.
therazino is also good on tek dinos, the head attack only harvests scrap metal (if you need metal) and will get you loads of metal, mine = 140 scrap metal with 2X harvesting rates... so pretty good
I agree with every point except the last one with Ravagers You promote the idea of efficiency then suggest players go to aberration, tame one without dying a million times, then look around for 2 hours trying to find a drop to transfer out with... You’d be much better off taming an Argentavis, they spawn on every map (except aberration) and cut the weight of all mentioned recourses plus some, and can also carry the Ankylo, or doed. And if you want you can also land the Argent on the back of a quetz saddle

The pack bonus is extremely flawed because it goes by level only to determine pack leader. You can breed down oxygen, food, and speed on your ravager line and make a more efficient creature, but that ravager right next to it with 40 points in food might end up being the pack leader. Also, I tried taking them into the Dead/Carno Island cave once and that's a huge mistake. They dove to the bottom of the cave immediately and left me stranded and then promptly died.
Me and my friend just started on ragnarok so the rare mushroom strat is going to be helpful for a griffin cause I found a griffin and it killed me cause I was running around like a idiot

This was quite helpful I didn’t know about the procoptadon tip about how they double the process of imprinting that’s is really helpful since they are one of my favourite Dino’s already. I have played this game for years and just reached 2.5k hours on pc so I don’t see many new things anymore.
Lol there are too many mechanics within ark to just leave it at "level movement speed", I'd be the worst educator ever if i left it there lol. I talk about that in beginner videos, and I think that's where that tip belongs :)
Pretty much. Procoptadon - mainsteam tame Beer - only real use is running a turret wall Tek dinos - only real use is the higher level cap, natural spawns for those resources are much better sources rare flower - not well known but not really used anymore since griffins came out ravagers - not terrible if you are locked to AB in pve, far better alternatives outside of that situation.
I used to sleep on movement speed for the longest time, I figured you get such a small amount per level that it wouldn't make a difference unless you were willing to pump like thirty levels into it. That was until I realized you can outrun raptors with just five points into movement speed, ever since then it's been the first thing I boost at the start of a new playthrough
This was dope, i bought a server. Doing the Island, and not having maywings was making breeding a task! The mate boosted nanny kangaroos made life so easy! Trying to stick to no mods and as close to official servers!
I kept trying to bola Tapejara's from long distances, I just realised recently that the rare flower trick makes it so much easier and I've already tamed 2 high level tapejaras :)
custom recipes can be disguised as poison, for example if you give someone a food named "healing stew" or something, they could eat it, and could have organic polymer
Hey! I just stumbled across the first tutorial you put up for Ark and happened to see thus one right after. You make good tutorials. Any chance you can do one on taming?
Rare flowers are situational, but they can be super useful, I lost my magmasaur as well as a bunch of stuff in the volcano on genesis and I used a rare flower to frantically get a procoptodon into a thatch trap, it was a super low level, but it turned out to be surprisingly useful, that was one of my main travel mounts for quite a while
Played this game for 2 years and didn’t know the Kangaroo trick... for a solo person that hates breeding, this was definitely helpful. I’m not sure why it was necessary for this guy to be negative though... if you thought they weren’t “advanced” just move on. Lol Maybe try being more positive @Zero.. might do some good for ya.
2.5k hours, and didn't know the procoptodon tip. If you believe you know everything, it's best to start with the basics, and find out where you became stupid.
I've seen you in my recommendations several times now. This one happened to be under an "Ark Logic" video about how a long neck rifle is heavier than a stone behemoth gate.
I was playing crystal isles with my friend who had only played a couple times before. I told him to put the rare flower in his last item slot because I knew a way to instant tame a Bronto (hopefully you know where this is going) I told him to eat the flower and walk up to it and you would see a feed thing, so he did and it was hilarious he was screaming and wondering why it was attacking him and I told him it was because he was a male character, and he just screamed some more.
I knew most of the stuff but the ravager farming for increased weight was something I never thought of, nice vid Edit: also I didn't know about the double imprinting with procoptodon!
Timeshark! I think I'm accidentally stalking you! I was just saying this exact thing in another comment though, because on even a mildly boosted breeding server, a tek Dino farm gets a respectable amount of dust, scrap and oil, passively!
I agree with most things here, but the beer and procoptodon could be added to. Beer is great for turret runs in PvP, and can even give you a few extra seconds to live before you die a pretty gruesome death. In that time you will have been able to fire maybe even a few rockets and destroyed many turrets. And procoptodon... well, yes, everything you said about them is great. It's just that if you play the Island, they are really rare. Finding a high level is only if you are lucky. Other than that, great tips, and have a great day!
I found a quetz in the first few mins! Luckily we had modded drops and with some huge luck managed to tranq it out! Remember! If you are chasing a quetz and its running, eat rare flower!

Wow, that's actually nuts ngl lol I'm happy I could help someone with experience! :)
2.5k? Talk to me once you hit 10k,please im so lonely
The real tip, level your move speed. Ignore everything else he says.
Lol there are too many mechanics within ark to just leave it at "level movement speed", I'd be the worst educator ever if i left it there lol. I talk about that in beginner videos, and I think that's where that tip belongs :)
pterafier 300 hp 400 weight 4.0 fortitude and the rest in movement speed
Pretty much.
Procoptadon - mainsteam tame
Beer - only real use is running a turret wall
Tek dinos - only real use is the higher level cap, natural spawns for those resources are much better sources
rare flower - not well known but not really used anymore since griffins came out
ravagers - not terrible if you are locked to AB in pve, far better alternatives outside of that situation.
Useful in pvp but not everyone plays pvp
I’ve played ark since launch, but the quality of this is almost professional.
Despite using procoptodons in almost every ark server i play in, i never knew they did the imprint buff, many thanks
Yo thats dope! Happy to help! :)
This was dope, i bought a server. Doing the Island, and not having maywings was making breeding a task! The mate boosted nanny kangaroos made life so easy! Trying to stick to no mods and as close to official servers!
When taming a giga, if you feed it berries, it’s hunger goes down. It works with all animals. Feed them the wrong food and hunger goes down
Also the taming effectiveness
Yea and then it gives u +0 levels
I kept trying to bola Tapejara's from long distances, I just realised recently that the rare flower trick makes it so much easier and I've already tamed 2 high level tapejaras :)
3:00 we’ll say hi genesis lunar biome people
The ravager zip line thing is going to be a game changer
Terraria's beer:
*Used to make Malotov's an OP Early game item and was used to speed run The Wall Of Flesh on the first day*
Lol good to see another terraria player
custom recipes can be disguised as poison, for example if you give someone a food named "healing stew" or something, they could eat it, and could have organic polymer
Hey! I just stumbled across the first tutorial you put up for Ark and happened to see thus one right after. You make good tutorials. Any chance you can do one on taming?
Thank you so much! I actually have one :) ruclips.net/video/OO7X_F_tNGs/видео.html
this is the best ark channel i’ve found, straight to the point and easy to understand! thank you!!
Petition for Pterifier to make a video on mutations!:
Rare flowers are situational, but they can be super useful, I lost my magmasaur as well as a bunch of stuff in the volcano on genesis and I used a rare flower to frantically get a procoptodon into a thatch trap, it was a super low level, but it turned out to be surprisingly useful, that was one of my main travel mounts for quite a while
Nice! Gotta love quick thinking lol
How can you say all teks give about the same when clearly the Tek rex's give almost 3x more than Paras or stegos lol
Oooh, the rare flower thing was very useful thanks!
me: yeah just a bit of time...
my nintendo switch with 800 hours of ark on it: do you think im useless?
Dude Ark on switch is awful you should get it on ps4
I knew about the rare flower ability but never thought to use it that way thnx for the tip
imagine an "advanced tips" video with assault rifle and camera view bob setting
Lmao i think you're thinking too hard mate
lmao ik
Genuinely what crossed my mind, if someone's using both, they have no clue what they're doing.
@@juicymoosh9510 but did this help you tho lol
Not even remotely.
I see people using AR's and immediately check out.
the Roo effect and the Ravagers were neat little features i didnt know, cool
"5 advanced tips" these tips are common knowledge for anyone that have 1k + hours in the game..
That's fair, but what about the person with 500 hours? He or she has outgrown beginner guides, right? What does that person watch?
@@pterafier these tips aren't advanced even for 500 hours. But I can see how it could be helpful to people who have like 200 hours more like
Played this game for 2 years and didn’t know the Kangaroo trick... for a solo person that hates breeding, this was definitely helpful.
I’m not sure why it was necessary for this guy to be negative though... if you thought they weren’t “advanced” just move on. Lol
Maybe try being more positive @Zero.. might do some good for ya.
@@notvanilla8076 Thanks for the kind words mate
2.5k hours, and didn't know the procoptodon tip.
If you believe you know everything, it's best to start with the basics, and find out where you became stupid.
I have over 10,000 hours in ark and I didn't know about the Procoptodon thin, good shit!
You should consider writing an Ark handbook now that the last DLC has dropped, your information is invaluable.
Wow, I’ve been playing a while now and didn’t know any of the 5 tips. Score one for the RUclips recommendations, subbed!
Amazing! Welcome to the channel :)
I've seen you in my recommendations several times now. This one happened to be under an "Ark Logic" video about how a long neck rifle is heavier than a stone behemoth gate.
Lmao
Been playing this game for years and you just blew my mind
Amazing! Glad you enjoyed :)
Here is a trick, use the rare flower while flying on the hunt for a quetzel :)
Easy to lure into traps.
It don’t work on quetzals
@@zacharystfu thats the joke
I was playing crystal isles with my friend who had only played a couple times before. I told him to put the rare flower in his last item slot because I knew a way to instant tame a Bronto (hopefully you know where this is going) I told him to eat the flower and walk up to it and you would see a feed thing, so he did and it was hilarious he was screaming and wondering why it was attacking him and I told him it was because he was a male character, and he just screamed some more.
😂😂😂😂
Hot tip, if you use a wolf on Tek Dinos you get more resources from them
I knew most of the stuff but the ravager farming for increased weight was something I never thought of, nice vid
Edit: also I didn't know about the double imprinting with procoptodon!
Awesome! Glad you got value out of this :)
that procoptodón tip is insane dude, i need one lol
Lmao awesome! Happy to help :)
That was great to learn about the chainsaws! Thanks!
On several maps I have used breeding tek parasaurs and raptors as my main source of element dust and electronics for the entire playthrough.
Timeshark! I think I'm accidentally stalking you!
I was just saying this exact thing in another comment though, because on even a mildly boosted breeding server, a tek Dino farm gets a respectable amount of dust, scrap and oil, passively!
Necro but do baby teks yeild more metal as if it were prime meat on a fleshy one
I never used beer in game i am glad you told me about it
Your channel do be getting reccomended and do be growing doe 😳
this is a perfect youtube video. thank you for making this so well and putting no fluff or bad jokes. and i think all of this info was new to me.
Thanks for the additions! Very well said :)
Big help with the Procoptadon tip. Never knew.
Glad you got value out of this!
Rare flowers make for an easy meat run as well. And helps find megalania toxin in caves. Love them. Keep a full fridge on hand 😂
Wasn’t aware off the doubled imprint bonus, really useful on official
Agreed!
I found a quetz in the first few mins! Luckily we had modded drops and with some huge luck managed to tranq it out! Remember! If you are chasing a quetz and its running, eat rare flower!
thanks for the heart!
This is a good video, I didn’t know much about ark and wanted to know more and I got to know more! Thank you
