One comment that had me cramping up with laughter, was someone saying "No wonder Jack and Kelly behaves the way they do,when you know who theyr father is,and what he probably was influenced on,while making them!". It was soo wrong,it became hysterical for me.
A Happy belated birthday to your daughter! I am curious if you ever happened to catch the clip from Ozzy and his son Jacks show, "Ozzy and Jack's World Detour" where they go to Iron Mountain and listen to the unmixed master tape of Crazy Train from 1980. It's a good glimpse into how deeply Randy's death effected Ozzy then, and even now you can see that pain warring with the good memories.
If you've not, just search for "Longer Version Of Ozzy Talks About Randy Rhoads And Hears Unheard Crazy Train Master Tape" it's probably the best sounding clip from the show floating around.
Saw Ozzy in concert (got lucky to see him, Rob Zombie, and In This Moment on Halloween about a decade ago) and say what you want about his tendencies (walk up to the mic, sing, take mic off and walk to his left, clap hands and sing, walk back and place the mic back on the stand, sing, take mic off stand and walk right, sing, walk back to the stand...rinse and repeat lol )... you're not there to watch Ozzy sing... you're there to HEAR Ozzy sing. Seeing him is just a bonus.
No Randy Rhoads died when the small plane they were boarding caught on fire . The drummer was right behind Rhoads but didn't board the plane yet, he tried to save him (and the pilot) but the flames were too much he couldn't get close so he could only helplessly watch as they both died. He was traumatized from hearing the screams for a long time. That drummer was Tommi Aldridge.
I was a lucky fan that got to see Ozzy multiple times in the Eighties. Even then, I remember thinking he looked like a 90 year old dementia patient shuffling down the street after escaping through an unattended door of the nursing home. Our girl was spot on. His motion never really matched what was coming out of his mouth. :-)
Tommy Aldridge, the drummer came into my shop to get his car worked on,one of my employees saw the Tama stickers on the window of his car and asked him."are you a musician?" and Tommy so non-chalantly replied "Yea kinda" i was so embarassed. I still see him when he's not on tour...what a super nice guy..and one hell of a drummer.
I saw Ozzy two years ago at the Dallas Texas fairgrounds and was very worried about how he would sound after hearing him on his television show. I always have a fear of hearing someone after so many years that I really loved and being disappointed. I can honestly say it was phenomenal and I thoroughly enjoyed it. And I must admit he’s probably in better shape than me because he ran around nonstop! This is my first ever post on here so take it easy on me with the negativity. It’s just my personal opinion. Truly great performance!
ladies and gentlemen! we have an improvement! no default face expression but a small smile! can i get a whoopwhoop in the comments for this memorable moment!? happy bday defaultone ;)
Have your daughter and son react to official videos not live versions. Not sure if there is a reason but not all bands sound their best live and might as well get your kids best impression on when the band sounds at their best.
Studio versions usually have very tough copyright issues, a lot of them get blocked worldwide, plus, my daughter has expressed that she likes the crowds reactions, so kind of two fold.
Happy Birthday! You have to remember that Ozzy had been around a while, he was no kid in this video. Fun fact for you, the bass player is Rudi Sarzo, who played with Randy Rhodes in Quiet Riot.
No you are wrong about ur info on Randy Rhoads, he began Jammin with Quite riot before he went to Ozzy, in 1979 he was called to audition but didn't want to, he eventually went and got the job in 1980 Blizzard of Oz was released by that time he was 23, 24 years old, on March 1982 he died and was 25 years old. many serious believe if he had stayed with Kevin DuBrow and Quiet Riot he'd still be alive
Thanks for the notes, I try to get the facts straight, I realized I made it seem he was younger afterwards, I just knew he started out really young, thanks for the facts.
This was a very popular video on YT, good audio, etc., just worked better for this one, but I see your point, but this one workded best for this round.
Glitch in the Matrix Multi-Media "War Pigs" live Paris 1970- the most iconic Black Sabath early show. She could see how Ozzy looks and sings when he was young, and suprisingly handsome. This is my fav song and fav show, and i think you both would like it.
My favourite Ozzy song is Perry Mason. The first time I really listened to Ozzy (after GTA and his tv show) I bought his greatest hits and Perry Mason just stood out for me. If you plan on showing either of your kids that song you will need to explain who Perry Mason is, they won't have a clue
I saw Ozzy in concert in Dayton Ohio way back in the late seventies. He put on one hell of a show back in those day. Foreigner was also there one of the greatest concert that I had ever seen.
Ozzy is Ozsome. I think he's the only singer who can get away with walking the stage like a crying toddler who's just learned how to walk and he's looking for his mother.
Its has always been a great Ozzy song but the significance behind it after the world lost Randy Rhoads at just 25 years of age. He was only performing for 10 years and he left such a mark that even today alot of guitarists strive for. Randy was a true legend. Happy 14th birthday to your daughter also mate.
You know what I'd love to see? Pics of you in your early days as a high schooler/young adult. I could have been hanging out with you for all we know! LOL!
I enjoy hearing the history and background of a song regardless if it's long winded. Even though I am 55 years old and have been a fan of rock music since grade school [ I started listening to the early Beatles at age 6 and moved on up ] there are times when I still learn something new about a group or a song that I love. . Keep up the good work.
I understand, just by looking at him, you would never think that awesome voice could be coming from him. He is one of the most amazing singers I have ever heard.
It's interesting how much better you can understand Ozzy when he sings, but when he talks, you can't make out a word most of the time. Not another one like him out there, there might never be.
I have to ask, If you like Metal and have been a fan for a long time...How have your kids not heard this music??? This is the stuff my kids were raised on!!! Of course we also played blues, classical, Broadway plays, even country. My kids are the next gen of Metal lovers.😁 My husband was in band his whole school history. When I met him he had gone to the school of music and was in the Army band. He even played for the President of the US. So music was pivotal. Now, one runs sound and another one runs lights!
So what kind of music does she like-and would you both be interested in switching roles one time, where she’s showing you one of her favorites and you’re reacting/commenting?
Annie you definitely head banged in the bad wolves Zombie reaction lol. Loved that one. Have watched it several times lol. Hope you guys are safe and healthy.
Great music, I think her comments are valid. I think a lot of out there used to think how does he function. Starting to think in the right direction young lady.
😂. He’s walking around funny on stage because he doesn’t want to get out of breath and make is vocals suffer for its. I don’t care who you are , you cannot sing and jump around at the same time ( that’s just called miming ) . He like to give the audience the best he can give. That’s why when the guitar solo came up , he went crazy .
Im pretty sure Rhodes was 100% sober when he was flying that plane the day he died. On the last pass the wheels of the plane clipped the ac unit on top of the bus and the ppane went nose first into the ground.
I grew up in the 80s, and my slow journey into rock/metal was pretty much: Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Twisted Sister, then Ozzy, then Metallica, then Slayer. Then I was hooked.
Actually, Bob Daisely and Randy Rhodes wrote the lyrics, after playing the music part, and hearing Ozzy hum they he thought the words should sound. They used that to write the lyrics. This is according to what I read. Also, Ozzy didn't write much of the songs that he sings, except a couple or few, one being "Goodbye to Romance", which is about not being in Black Sabbath, anymore. Bob Daisely is the one who wrote most of his lyrics for his solo career, back in the day. Stoneface is trying so hard to not smile. I see why, now. She should check out the lyrics to it. Also, if she likes this, she might "Thank God For The Bomb". Don't judge it, by the title. A song that is great for chill cruising is "Shot in the Dark".
I saw Ozzy with Randy Rhodes. Probably a few years before this performance. Ozzy is animated here. When I saw him he spent most of the time at the mic stand. Would take the mic out, take a few steps then put it back. I called it his lithium shuffle.
He’s walking like that because he just did a five gallon bucket of blow , and god knows what else . 🤣Why play Gillis and not Rhodes? The legend Tommy Aldridge on the drums .
Don't worry about her not liking much of what you're showing her, she's still really young and you're kind of educating her; you even give her some context about the songs. She'll appreciate more this music and the more modern rock from current bands in a few years, probably after college and especially after she turns 30, when nostalgia kicks in.
Now i like this song very much, because of the background story you told about the song. TY The reason why Ozzy moves like that is, someone operates him remotely because he's under influence ;-)
Interesting to see the parallel's between You and your Daughter, I and my son. Lol He mostly likes Rap, however, like your Daughter is very intelligent and recognizes talent when He see's it. He likes Ozzy and various other artist from my era. Nice channel you two have here, I will be stopping by from time to time to check Ya's out.
I seen ozzy at Oz Fest in 98 and he needed knee pads because whenever he jumped in the air he almost fell and caught himself by landing on his knees !! Awesome concert
In the official music video, he has Zac Wild playing Randy’s part. Also they show images of Rhodes, some with Ozzy and him together, the song takes on a different meaning.
My favorite album for me will always be "No More Tears." One of those albums that I can listen over and over again. Something about the quality of each song just takes me to a 'comfort' state of mind. Love it.
I saw him with Motley Crue live, and he was GREAT! and guess what? That's exactly how he is on stage except when I saw him he was barefoot. he stood flat footed and belted out his songs perfectly. Jake E Lee was the guitarist, Amazing show.
Hey, Happy Birthday to your daughter! She's beautiful. And I like she's kind of cool, not dragged by emotions :-)) And keep doing some metal stuff, preferably classic metal bands from 80s like AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Helloween, etc.
The part where you mention about when Ozzy speaks and he’s almost mumbling, but when he’s on stage he kills it, I saw him 2 years ago (Download Festival 2018) and you always wonder with his age, his health, his lifestyle during his heyday, just how he manages to keep going, but it’s like the moment he gets on stage he becomes Ozzy fkn Osbourne, The Prince Of fkn Darkness! He comes alive as if someone just jolted him with 10,000 volts of electricity. Really hope he is able to continue his tour this year, the show I have a ticket for has been postponed 2-3 times now due to him suffering from Parkinson’s disease. Glad to see this song was a success 🤘🏻
I'm from Savannah, and I remember my mom telling me a story. Back in the 80's Ozzy was on tour and was coming to Savannah. All of the church's in the city stopped him from coming because he bit the head off of a bat live on stage.
Randy got the Ozzy gig when he just turned 23. Was killed in that horrific plane crash at 25. Randy' band prior to Ozzy was Quiet Riot. Randy wrote the music and Bob Daisley (bass player) wrote 95% of the lyrics on Blizzard and Diary albums. Would have been better with the album track or the Tribute live album track. Both of which have Randy.
You should show videos of Ozzy trying to function as a human being hahaha. He is a very interesting character who took every form of drug under the sun for decades. The fact that he's alive is in itself a miracle. So obviously this would make for an fascinating guy, that is often hilarious.

Happy belated bitrhday to your daughter :) keep up with the good reactions and I hope you get more subs soon cuz you really deserve it :)
Salvador Saucedo Rudy Sarzo went with him
Thanks for the notes, I try to get the facts straight, I realized I made it seem he was younger afterwards, I just knew he started out really young, thanks for the facts.
Why didn’t you show her one with....randy rhoads? Weird.
This was a very popular video on YT, good audio, etc., just worked better for this one, but I see your point, but this one workded best for this round.
Priceless! you should react to some early Ozzy- War Pigs would be a good one. Happy belated birthday! 😁👍
Nice suggestion, thanks for the birthday note.
Glitch in the Matrix Multi-Media "War Pigs" live Paris 1970- the most iconic Black Sabath early show. She could see how Ozzy looks and sings when he was young, and suprisingly handsome. This is my fav song and fav show, and i think you both would like it.
When I hear this song I think of social change, and people living as foes, not loving each other as Christ taught us to
My favourite Ozzy song is Perry Mason.
I saw Ozzy 2 years ago at Cynthia Woods Pavillion in the Woodlands, Tx. Best concert i have ever been to. I luv him.
Ozzy is Ozsome.
I think he's the only singer who can get away with walking the stage like a crying toddler who's just learned how to walk and he's looking for his mother.
The fact that you used live version makes you dad of the year
Ozzy always walked like excited toddler on stage. He is great.
Thanks so much for the comment.
I understand, just by looking at him, you would never think that awesome voice could be coming from him. He is one of the most amazing singers I have ever heard.
Love Ozzy. Was lucky seeing him live in 2018. Amazing experience. 😊
It's interesting how much better you can understand Ozzy when he sings, but when he talks, you can't make out a word most of the time. Not another one like him out there, there might never be.
Cool picture of Iceland in the background. Best regards from an Icelandic viewer 😉
Thanks, my wife and I love Iceland!
This song just isn't the same without Randy or Jake playing the featured guitar, but thanks for sharing 🤘
It's so dang hilarious seeing her trying to hold in her laughter over Ozzy's awkwardness hahahaha
SHE LIKED IT! Right on! Loving it!
Thanks for the comment
Annie you definitely head banged in the bad wolves Zombie reaction lol. Loved that one. Have watched it several times lol. Hope you guys are safe and healthy.
Ozzy looking like a father at a wedding after a few too many beers.
Great music, I think her comments are valid. I think a lot of out there used to think how does he function. Starting to think in the right direction young lady.
Thanks for the comment
Ozzy is on so much Angel dust in this video , he is a legend. RIP Rhodes
'Cause that's what sober people do.
SUCCESS!!! I'm glad that out of everybody y'all listen to, she likes Ozzy.
I saw Ozzy with Randy Rhodes. Probably a few years before this performance. Ozzy is animated here. When I saw him he spent most of the time at the mic stand. Would take the mic out, take a few steps then put it back. I called it his lithium shuffle.
She had a few " McKayla is not impressed " moments so I was somewhat surprised she liked it but, happy she did. Happy Birthday!
Lol, thanks
14 year old reacts now I suppose a happy birthday is in order. 👍
Ozzy turns into a fan while not singing on stage, he cheers on his band members when they’re shredding🤘🏽
Burning Witches - Wings Of Steel
They're an all-female power metal group, the song features new singer Laura Goldemund.
TY
The reason why Ozzy moves like that is, someone operates him remotely because he's under influence ;-)
8:15 trying to figure out another way to say Ozzy was always high as hell
Interesting to see the parallel's between You and your Daughter, I and my son. Lol He mostly likes Rap, however, like your Daughter is very intelligent and recognizes talent when He see's it. He likes Ozzy and various other artist from my era. Nice channel you two have here, I will be stopping by from time to time to check Ya's out.
I seen ozzy at Oz Fest in 98 and he needed knee pads because whenever he jumped in the air he almost fell and caught himself by landing on his knees !! Awesome concert
You should show her a clip from the Osbournes where Ozzy is going on a rant about the dogs pooping in the house. lol
Annie was right. Even 35 years ago, Ozzie shuffled around like he was 70.
Hey, Happy Birthday to your daughter! She's beautiful. And I like she's kind of cool, not dragged by emotions :-))
And keep doing some metal stuff, preferably classic metal bands from 80s like AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Helloween, etc.
14 woot woot! Here's to listening to many more songs that are much older than 14!!!
I'm from Savannah, and I remember my mom telling me a story. Back in the 80's Ozzy was on tour and was coming to Savannah. All of the church's in the city stopped him from coming because he bit the head off of a bat live on stage.
Scombs 654 that sucked, look on the bright side, you have a gorgeous city
Lol, he is a VERY interesting character for sure!
I remember this concert, it was on MTV (Back when they played music). This is the concert where they hang the midget during Goodbye To Romance
She bobbed her head! thats a win
Lol, yes, that is always a win
He's also walking like a grandpa trying to shuffle his way to the bathroom.
well, these days he does shuffle about the stage
It's a side effect of taking anti-psychotic medication.
