Then he gets the longest standing ovation ever on Raw the next day, only to be rivaled by his later title win over HHH. Even competing against the Attitude Era big shots, Hogan still got over on them. Hate the man in his personal life all we want, NO ONE could get a crowd absolutely buzzing without even performing a single move like Hogan.

@@MichaelEarl No I believe it was probably true. Vince was going to phase hogan out because he wanted the warrior to be the next big thing. Hogan probably saw that turning heel would be a good way to reinvent himself and stay relevant. Warrior didn't work out so hogan became the top guy again eventually. So hogan probably wanted to but Vince didn't want to because he was waiting to see if warrior worked out. Personally I'd have loved to see hogan run as a heel for a period in the wwf.

You know how you can tell hogan is the man? Because he gets so much hate! He and Flair are both GOATs at what they do.

3:47 I feel kinda depressed… Years of wrestling… Even though a number of Hogan’s years were at the time of EARLY wrestling back in the time before they did this crazy stuff like the Touch Fire… TLC matches… Matches with thumbtacks on the ground… Tables matches and so on.. His body just ended up too beaten down.
Granted, given he’s in his sixties, and I think it’s a good time to give it up- but giving it up simply cause he *has no choice* in the Matter.. THAT sucks!

People need to realize Hogan came up when people tried to steal your spot once you got you want to keep look at Ric Flair Dusty it was more then Hogan Jerry the king also so trust was hard and Vince sr called him big dummy so would you trust a boss like that.
