@KnownAsCyber I can see that, but as someone who thought he was an atheist but has recently refound a lost connection with Christ (I should say he found me, I wasn't searching for what was right in front of me) when I see comments like that, that connection instantly opens up. I wouldn't even have thought about God in this moment, had I not scrolled down & read that. Just pray that those who laugh or mock with their replies open their hearts to Christ and the kingdom of God as well. Appreciate you brother 🙏

Sean has an amazing gift with conversation, and connection with his guests, he brings out the actual person sitting across the table, he asks them questions they don't normally hear, he makes them feel safe, he honours them, and congratulates them for their life, and their efforts in combatting hot sauce. Also, Stone Cold would be someone I would love to know. This guy is a treasure trove of an interesting life.

He's had some controversy in his personal life but nothing extreme. I think a big part of it was his neck break, plus I'm sure steroids use in his hey-day that caused some issues with his wife.
I saw him live. It was Austin vs. Undertaker, 1999 over the edge. Obviously, it was hard to enjoy that show live, so I don't even remember what happened, but I do remember his entrance being crazy in the crowd.

This has been my favorite hot ones. I have watched it a few times now. Really takes me back to when I was a kid. I'm 28 now and Stone Cold was huge when my family was into wrestling. I remember sitting in the livingroom with my brothers, parents, aunt and cousins enjoying wrestling and all the crazy antics during the attitude era. My oldest brother is no longer here in this world due to suicide and watching this stirs up all the nostalgia from when we were all just kids enjoying simpler times. I laugh throughout this episode and I cried thinking about the happier times in my childhood. I was the youngest and only girl out of my siblings....I remember making barbie doll houses out of cardboard with my older guy cousins and one of my brothers having his wrestling action figures break into my Barbies house. I don't watch wrestling anymore but I wish so badly my kids could experience the attitude era. There was just something special about that time.
I loved seeing Sean and Stone Cold pinging off of eachother in such a fun way. I never expected stone Cold to be cooler than how he was depicted in wrestling but it turns out he is far cooler than I could have imagined as a little girl.

  • i suck toes mom, deal with it!!

I always got the impression that he’s extremely empathic, like he seems like he’s able to acknowledge all the different energies from any room of strangers he goes into and can probably keep track of all of them at the same time and be able to instantly know when a stranger that stinks of danger approaches and make it go away. My dad has that ability and I’ve been lucky enough to have been taught how to make the empath part of the brain wicked sensitive to where I can feel the sickness all the sea life experiences during red tide each year down to freshly poured cement or fresh laid asphalt. Those ones are a new creation coming into existence and being made subconsciously aware of in people’s brains allowing it to send its own energy back, but when it’s a new road or sidewalk or even a brand new giant building somewhere that’s had no occupants... it honestly feels equivalent to a newborn rabbit that just lays around sleeping all the time.. basically infantile energy

Things I could never do. He also has one of the highest views among all the hot ones episodes.....so yeah, American legend. You don't have to do some crazy profound thing to be a legend. Probably one of the greatest episodes. Just shows the amazing person Steve Austin is when he asks the profanity level is, and was told he could go all stone cold max level and he still composed himself, that’s being respectful to the max. Much love and respect to Steve!

@Chris Roy A simple Google search proves you wrong. Who's delusional now?

    • Danielle Köhler
      Danielle Köhler 3 years ago

@Chris Roy Just because there is no *reported* incident doesn't mean it doesn't happen. That "10+ years" argument is literally meaningless because the vast majority of domestic violence goes unreported. In my experience, people don't *just* *stop* being abusive.
Plural - Debra Marshall, Tess Broussard, and who knows how many others it happened to that went unreported.
I'll leave you with two thoughts before I stop responding:
If some guy beat your mom up, would you just "give him a second chance" because he didn't beat up someone else?
How does one redeem themselves after beating up their SO? Do they... un-punch them? Use words to apologize - after the assault - when words could have solved the issue *before* it became physical?

That's the reason he's the WWE's GOAT! He was business savy, very intelligent, he knew how to push his Stone Cold character and believe it or not- he's the ONLY wrestler to "out talk" the Rock. "I'm gonna walk my ass down Jabroni Ave, turn on Know Your Roll Blvd, check into The Smackdown Hotel room 316, and burn that SOB down to the ground!"
