  • Dr Raj Vedam in his talk on 'The Story Of Ancient India: From The Deep South To North' mentions the evidence of knowledge systems and Pan India cultural similarity.
The speaker deep dives in ancient southern history and demolishes the Dravidian claims in favor of a pan-Indian identity. He analyzes the latest available papers on genetics, archaeology (2019), and roundup along with past evidence of what they imply for the ancient history of India.
Dr Raj Vedam mentions how the astronomical model is common to India. He states that the names of the Nakshatras in the Northern and the Southern India are not much different and even if there are regional variations, the similarities are more. He talks about how the Max Mueller dates can be demolished using the Astronomical model.
Dr Raj Vedam talks about his approach to Genetics and argues that genetic results cannot be globalised as it requires models, methodology, data, samples and claims.
Dr Vedam talks about similar cultural practices across time and geography and emphasises on the theory of cultural continuity of civilisation. He reiterates that India is united by its ancient culture and heritage and its identity is that of Dharmic civilisation. According to him, the destruction of Indian identity by malicious forces must be contested and neutralised with evidence-based claims.
    About Speaker:
Dr. Raj Vedam, MSEE, PhDEE, works at the confluence of applied mathematics, engineering, algorithms, and computer science. Using tools of Archeo-Genetics, archeo- astronomy and archaeology, and evidence of knowledge transfers from ancient India, the speaker has put forward a strong thesis with verifiable facts, on the antiquity of the Indian Civilisation, and the many discoveries made my the ancients.
Dr. Raj Vedam is a co-founder of the think-tank, Indian History Awareness and Research, and resides in Houston, Texas. He can be reached at rajvedam[at]yahoo[dot]com and on Facebook at / raj.vedam.1

We generally have a difficult time of understanding anything new that has been lacking from our background experiences. Being an English Speaker I have a very difficult with the names of things and places. Language is a photo. If we can't see a picture we just don't grasp all of the concepts. Add that to the fact that a lot of Indians talk very fast. I just try to watch some of these videos more than one time.

Interesting alternate perspective. Would also recommend following work of Dan Davis and David Anthony on RUclips. Read "The Horse, The Wheel and The Language" by David Anthony. The archaeological and linguistic evidence there is mind boggling. Now, that's genuine scientific inquiry to understand history of mankind. This is also accepted by most historians of the world except for a few in India (whose national pride has been hurt by earlier foreign rule and believe its a conspiracy, with no scientific proof).
I used to feel hurt too by Aryan Migration Theory but later realized that such migrations were a norm in the world then (refer "Sapiens"). We can't judge what happened then by today's moral standards. My respect for Maryada Purushottam Ram doesn't go down one bit because of this. By this logic, even Americans should feel so much hurt about their European Aryan migration to Americas (and killing of native tribes) that they should deny it ever happened?
What our Indian historians don't understand is that if intention was to undermine India, then European historians would have never unearthed Indus Valley civilization and give it global fame for immaculate planning. Sapiens book on page 333 says that Guptas and Mauryas never gave these ruins a second glance and no Indian before the British was aware of them. They also made Buddhism and Yoga popular, deciphered Brahmi Script, Learned Sanskrit and deciphered meaning of Vedas (when hindu brahmins were just saying it by rote and had forgotten its meaning) etc. These historians unearthed other civilizations in Middle East and Egypt and brought them fame as well. Couldn't they have instead just let it all gather dust and said "You Indians and Middle Easterners have inferior history!)."?
Having an alternate view point is always welcome. If current Indian historians are so sure, they should go ahead and publish their work in international journals which is peer reviewed with evidence. Instead what is happening is armchair conspiracy theories with no archaeology involved. OTOH, David Anthony travels around the world doing archaeology as well, in many cases with money from their own pocket and tight budget.
Our Indian historians should also feel free to travel the world and gather evidence. With quest for true academic inquiry that helps us understand the history of our humanity. Who's stopping them? Instead there is politics to advance "we are superior" ideas. They stand uniquely isolated in the world today with very little credibility.

I am not a professional linguist but what I am is a very observant person, I have always looked at things more deeply than other people my age and I have always had this feeling that the southern culture is very in line with the marathi culture in Maharashtra where I currently live and then marathi culture is deeply connected to Gujarat and sindh.
My ancestors were from rajasthan but I have been born and bought up in Maharashtra and I have seen the way the ladies cook food in the south, mud and manure based yards of the houses and the way the society functions and family systems and language..we are all very deeply connected.
Also for the people who assume things by skin colour, I am a student of science so i can say without a doubt that if you were to cast a northern man into a darker skin tone he would have no difference in appearance from a south Indian and if you took a dark skinned man from south and lightened his skin colour a shade or two you will see no difference between him and another light skinned north Indian.
Skin colour darkens as a community spends more time living in a geographical region where there is an abundance of sunlight, the skin colour starts changing to avoid sunburn and you get melanin production at high levels turning the skin darker and the southern parts have been inhabited since thousands of years while the north receives lesser sunlight and has a milder climate some parts are extremely cold so they need less melanin in order to absorb whatever sunlight they can get for Vitamin D.
also if you go to rajasthan and see the nomads and other such tribes you will see that they have some of the darkest skin colours because they live under the sun alot and you will see no difference between them and the south Indians.

    • @NoRiceToEat
      @NoRiceToEat 2 года назад +1

@t s Muthuraman the gene for skin colour is linked in south Asia and Europe.
The skin colour of a population depends on one such gene and this gene over a period of time gives the population the colour of their skin due to the closeness to the equator and tropical zones.
It's melanin production that determines skin colour and the gene for it is common between Europe and south aisa.

While reading the book "Early Indians" by Tony joseph. I had quite a lot of questions about the authenticity of the claims that were made in the book. This talk has addressed quite a lot of red flags in that book. Done my research and found that there are a lot of masked content and improper interpretations of the data from different sources, and now I am suggesting a lot of my friends to not buy such books with false claims and even if you did, please do your research before believing the claims made in the books. I'm very thankful to have stumbled upon this video.

Atleast we can puncture holes in the claims like they are moolanivasi aryan/brahmins captured them by telling thier own data that they came from iran by 7000Bc and aryan came by 1500 bc.even though thier claims are wrong we can puncture thier claims by thier data only. Another is they claim brahmins bought idol worship to tamilians/ south indians ,according to Caldwell there is no cognate for word image/ murthi in tamil but recently they are claiming after success of kantara those are indigenous gods / bhoota which were worshipped before aryans/brahmins came with vedic gods they change thier history like chameleons according to situation we must puncture those things.Aryans invasion Theory atleast in academia is reduced aryan migration but the vicious ideas of the theory is still in circulation for political purpose to fight BJP and they have come with Buddha + basava + ambedkar tripatriarch combinations to suggest forces fighting against brahmincla tyranny ,but reading of ambedkar/ basavanna can destroy the claims.

So Tamil's பாலு (paalu) could be closely related to milk, as in பாயசம்(payasam), while दूध (Doodh), I believe is Urdu دودھ , also derived from Sanskrit for something that is milked.

Bhaasha is a Sanskrit word. The language is called "Nudi" in Telugu.
Most of us do not know the difference between Andhra Language, Telugu Language and Sanskrit.
Andhra language is a combination of Telugu and Sanskrit.
Sanskrit is a wonderful language. The vocabulary in Sanskrit is infinite.
Telugu is vowel ending "Ajanta" language ..no language could beat and surpass Telugu in beauty.
Telugu is considered Greater than Sanskrit in this regard.
For example to know the feature of Ajanta language
    "రాముడు ఒకడు ఉన్నాడు అని అనుకున్నాను అని అనుకున్నావేమొ......."
can be written in one stroke as
    "రాముడొకడున్నాడననుకున్నానననుకున్నావేమొ................................"
This can be written without stopping anywhere in a single piece.
Hundreds of thousands of words can be written in a single sentence.
If you add infinite vocabulary to it (that vocabulary belongs to Sanskrit) it is even more wonderful.
This Wonder is the Andhra language that we think is "Telugu" today.
    Example:
In English In Sanskrit In Telugu(classical) In Andhra
    Language Bhaasha Nudi Bhaasha
    Wheel Chakram Gaanu/Tiragali Chakramu
    Mind Manas ullamu Manasu
