Very clever! I tried doing a half tuck the other day and said to myself “ Forget it, it’s over lol!” But with your suggestions I LOVE the semi shirt tuck! Thank you for all your great tips!
I have been watching videos on the French tuck for about an hour now. And your video is the most informative, your information is the most applicable to my post menopause situation. Thank you for this. And, wow! I really like your idea of tying a knot in my T-shirt. Because I am a little bit chubby, this is exceptionally nice for me.
The front tuck is the best! Accentuates the waist while hiding love handles and (when done right), the belly, too! Shows off my long legs as well, because it uses the rule of thirds. Wearing a full tuck does not work for all of us, and leaving the top fully out is frumpsville, especially if you have an hourglass shape.
You nailed it on the half tuck! Finally, you have explained to women our age that tucking your shirt in halfway makes us look like we’re expecting a baby at 52 you obviously see it and get it and what’s more upsetting is that women are age and fashion or trying to convince other women our age that this is fashionable and we should do it of course that’s the women that don’t have a menopause belly sticking way out. Thank you for your honesty and for alternative ways to wear a shirt, more flattering yet stylish, please keep all your reviews coming I’ve just started and I really like watching your videos
Really handy info! The front tuck looks so easy, but...... One thing I like to do with jackets and sweaters is a back tuck. Makes the shirt underneath look so much neater!
The tee tie that you did in the end? I just watched a video by a woman over in France. She was doing French tucks where she tied like you just did, only with a rubber band. I prefer just the tie BUT after she did the tie, she tucked that into the waist band area where the tie was so that it wasn't exposed. :)
Can menopot do the full tuck even for business attire? Edit I have the menopot and it's business casual. I want ro wear a blazer over a graphic T that is fitted but the hem falls to my hip bones.
Yes. Be sure that you’re pulling out enough shirt so that it covers the waist OR do the half tuck more to the side. I do it that way also and it makes a more diagonal look. Hope that helps.
Why I don't tuck in my shirts at all anymore. If I was thinner I'd do your tuck in thing. I wear knit tops that are the right length, not too long. Any longer shirts that button up the front are used for shirt jackets with knit tops underneath.
I'm a newbie here and love your videos! I do the half tuck but because of weight fluctuations I sometimes need a belt. Is it still okay to wear one with a half tuck?
I wear high waisted shorts/pants. And pull them up high on my waist I have been wearing my T shirt hanging over them, doesn't look good if I tuck them all the way in but I wonder how this half tuck would look wearing them out in public?
I love your visual cue, "Do your best and give yourself grace."

Glad it was helpful! I appreciate you for being here.
I half-tuck a lot! Ups my style game & keeps me from looking frumpy!
It does. I can’t do the “one in one out” though. Lol.
This is outstanding! I came here out of desperation to learn how to do this. You explain it the best
Awesome, thank you! Thanks for being here.

Great video, thank you for sharing😀
Good info, highly repetitious
Thank you! I have the same reaction to the French tuck. Not my cup of tea.
Thank you so much for all this. My husband loves my backside, so I don't want to cover it (haha), but I will most certainly use the side-tie!

I’ve done that also. It’s your preference but I do love that way a lot also. Thanks for being here
I also do a side tuck, which seems to work for me. Either tucked into the side pocket or waist of jeans.
That’s a great alternative. I love it!!! Thanks being here.
Mena-pot. Love it.
Great video! I like all the examples

I heard some one say it remind them of the toilet paper tail. It looks cute on some people though.
I absolutely get that. Lol.

If you feel comfortable, then absolutely. Thank you for being here.
I wear high waisted shorts/pants. And pull them up high on my waist

If you’re a woman who wants to half tuck you can tuck in and pull your top out enough to cover the buttons.
❤
I like you! You look great
Thank you so much. Thanks for being here.
how can see effortlessly tuck her shirts !??!
Half tuck just looks like someone yelled fire and you ran out of house
Not on young people…
😅😅😅😅👌
It looks riduculous
I get it.
