THANK YOU!!!! You literally kept me from discarding my entire outfit for tomorrow! ❤
I'm so glad!
It's so simple that i feel a little dumb for not figuring it out before hand. Thank you so much for this tutorial!
This is silly genius! I never wear knotted shirts because they always turn out wonky!🤪 what a game changer 😊
It is such a game changer!
THANK YOU I felt so dumb trying to figure out how to do this on my own 😂
You are so welcome!
You saved my concert outfit with this trick! Thank you!
Awesome!!!!
Great technique. I wear men's button up shirts over tank tops with biker shorts most days. It's great to find a way to tie the shirt so that it holds throughout the day and looks good. Thanks.
FINALLY A VIDEO THAT EXPLAINS AND WORKS!
Thank you!
Oh my goodness. This is a lifesaver! I’m supposed to dress for a semi formal occasion on very short notice, and none of my dresses were good, very worn out, so finding this and then pairing it with light jeans I’m good to go! New subscriber!
I’ve tried so many different ways from many different tutorials, and this one is definitely the best!
Yay! Thank you!
When I was a Brownie I was taught to tie my scarf this way, right over left and under, and left over right and under, we recited that rule all the time 😆
I’m going to memorize this, I was trying to think of a simple rule, and you provided it, thanks Shelli!
Yes! It felt more natural for me to go over on the first round but under works as well and might even be easier to remember lol!
@@kimberlyperrotis8962 anytime! 😁
Thank you Jaimie…I can’t believe I missed which one to start with. The tutorial is worth saving. 😊
Always start with the top layer that goes over the buttons. :)
You're a life saver! Needed to know this very last minute, and you made it so easy. Thanks a million!

This video is truly a treasure!! Thank you so much. Only one suggestion: For the sake of us fashionistas who are challenged, please avoid extraneous conversation between the steps. It took me at least a dozen viewings to get it right, and the extraneous comments became a little crazy-making.
Thank you Jamie, ,l have learned the right steps

Great video. Coming to try today.Thank you .
Great! Thank you!
Thank you so much 💓
You're welcome 😊
I watched this the other day. Last night I went to a play and was wearing a t-shirt dress. I grabbed a button-down to layer over it, but it was cropped length so I left all the buttons undone. The first time I tried it, didn't go so well but I tried to remember what you said. Thankfully I was able to get it the second time and it stayed tied the entire evening and looked cute, just a little higher on the waist line than yours. I wish I would have known how to do this my whole life
Yes! You did a crop version and I love that!
Thank you, Jamie!
You are so welcome!
Woot woot! Thank you! I did it 😊

This way to tie a knot really does make a difference when knotting a shirt, thank you
Yes it does!
tysm!! lifesaver, my knots always fall apart haha
That was fun, you’re a natural! 😊
Oh wow. Thank you so much!
I needed this! Thanks
You are welcome!
works, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Loved it ❤
Thank you!
I wore my oversized Lily Silk blue-striped shirt tied up the other day, but had a heck of a time with it because this fabric is so slippery. The back kept falling right down, too, so next time I think I’ll fold it up first and secure it with a few pieces of fashion tape. It didn’t look bad with the back down, it just wasn’t what I was aiming for. At least I know how to make a proper knot now, and Shelli’s way to remember it, below in comments, will help me a lot.
Ya you can go right over left and under but it felt more natural for me to go over and it provides the same result. You just HAVE to do the opposite with the placement of the ties the second time around or it doesn't work. 😊
I know you posted this one year ago, but THANK YOU!!!
You are welcome! It still applies now for sure!
I’d like to know where you got that groovy bracelet.
It's from Victoria Emerson! rstyle.me/+tB2ZEtpyz82x-04GqnkSoQ
